@@thetruthisthelight3482 yes … the word of God are the activations of our blessing, yes God give even when we don’t ask, but a lot of our blessing comes from asking… and God want us to ask him.
Currently have 11 days left of my Daniel fast and i’ve come to very similar realizations. I also came in with a list full of expectations, and in prayer had to surrender and just ask God to have his way for this fast and immediately I felt fulfilled and this fast has been so much better ❤️❤️❤️
Very powerful what you said - Fasting is not abstaining from food but focusing on God and his word, being attentive to the Holy Spirit. And this is exactly what fasting helps us achieve- this sensitivity to the things of the Spirit and enabling us act upon them.
Thank you my sister I've done fasts before and Jehovah has met my needs fully and even exceedingly in those fasts. but in my latest big fast I've been praying for a lot of things concerning my family and finances when I ended it my flesh began to doubt since I didn't physically see my prayer points manifested. I now ask that y'all help me pray over my current enemy (the flesh) that is limiting Jehovah works for me Thank you!!

Tomorrow is May 21st and I plan to start my fast which is the same day you started yours. No coincidence there. I plan to do my fast for 21 days. I am ready to come back to this video with my testimony of his greatness!
No wayyyy!!! God wants us to prosper and He loves that we’re replenished with everything we need. Being poor is actually very unspiritual - because we’re blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. We also need money to go about God’s work on this earth. We aren’t called to be poor oh - na lie!!
@Chris Balogh Abundance =/= love of money. God provides for His children in every need, exactly how much, exactly when we need it. Being in alignment with God's word brings us to provision. What kind of Loving Father desires for their children to be in poverty? That is a lie, that is a false teaching. God desires to bless us with bounty both in this life and our life in the Kingdom of Heaven.. and because the Kingdom is upon us now, so are the blessings. Let us be humble enough to both know Who provides, and to be provided for.
If he feared God then he will not even attack Gods children in the first place .But please if you have scriptures to back this I would love you share so I can learn tooo.

Monique we weren't comparing the Devils power to God's power.Gods power is incomparable to any power .we were talking about if the devil fears God or not .

This soo made my day, i haven't been fasting for a while but lately i've engaged in mid night prayers and my God!!! I alwayz wnt to crave for more and pray for God for the grace.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Always a blessing to watch. Fasting is such a powerful spiritual exercise if done correctly. It has been misunderstood to be a tool we can use to manipulate God into answering our prayers when in essence it helps us humble ourselves to ascertain Gods will and kills our flesh so that we can connect with him on a deeper spiritual level.

This is so beautiful 😍 Jd, sometimes when we’re fellowshipping with Holy Spirit we begin to sing new songs, songs from the innermost part of our hearts and this is God talking through us. I can never forget the first message I listened from Apostle Joshua Selman- the Lordship of Jesus Christ, I was really blessed by that.

You’re soooo right sis!!! Our mind is that THING!! We will experience exactly what animates our minds, that’s why Apostle Paul admonishes us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind- we need that constant focus on God and his word so that our minds can be continually renewed in Christ in order for us to live the God kind of life everyday. That's true must at times we fast for selfish reasons just as you mentioned. I need this fasting my spiritual life has been lacking esp during this quarantine
I would add..... it's not a sin or wrong to ask specifically God what you want while fasting. You can actually and you must... Je will give you the desire of your heart. If you want something new or breakthrough or specific something, money, house, job, etc ASK and pray and fast. Mathew 18 19 Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
Ahhh the Holy Spirit is soo gentle please don't push away his voice by not acting upon his instructions. I know sometimes we want to overthink and double check.i pray God strengthens us to be swift to act on his instructions 🤗

No my dear . the bible tells us to ask and it shall be given unto us so it's ok to ask the lord for what you need but ask him from a position of LORD LET YOUR WILL BE DONE ! ask what you want but be willing to accept what he gives even of its not what you asked because better than you and I ,God knows our needs.

I'm looking for a place where I can go and fast 21 days to get away from it all and focus On the Lord. LIKE a retreat or church gatherings fasting. Idk. Any suggestions? ?
I have a question about fasting: Can you fast for multiple things or must it be limited to one? For example, I wish to fast for a stronger relationship with God (most importantly), for God to answer my prayers regarding the people I want to see get saved, and other thing pertaining to his glory. Hi! Yes you can ask God for multiple things when you go on a fast. God is soooo powerful and great and will hear your prayers. Ask for what you need and the Lord will get it done. God bless😊😊
