My Testimony from New Age Deception to A Relationship with Jesus

Hello I’m Elena! I’m here to share my testimony of how I moved out of partying, hook-up culture, and New Age practices into a relationship with Jesus. I was raised in a Christian home, but hadn’t really developed a relationship with Jesus early on. I started opening myself up to New Age practices when I attended yoga classes beginning in my teens, and eventually went through yoga sculpt teacher training. I also had some unhealthy relationships where I sought out validation from partners starting in high school and majorly participated in partying / drinking alcohol and hook-up culture starting in college. Later on, I wanted to learn more about what it could be like to begin a “spiritual journey”, so I tried out different modalities / practices like reiki, crystals, chakra alignment, yoga, tarot cards, oracle cards, divination, meditation, numerology, astrology, and the list goes on.
I feel so blessed to have now moved into knowing who Jesus is and opening myself up to receiving the Holy Spirit.
