I’m 37 weeks and literally feeling the exact same as u 😅 lack of breath, fingerprints left after touching belly, not being scared of labour, being exhausted, RESTLESS LEGS. One of the things that made me feel so confident in myself from the beginning is the saying ‘my body was made for this’ ❤️

On the stretch marks: stretch marks form deep in your skin’s epidermis so no lotions or creams, oils etc can penetrate that deep. It’s a whole scam!! I went to a skin specialist about stretch marks and they said laser is an option. In the end mine faded away completely! So yours will too I’m sure ❤

Keeping your skin moisturised will help with stretch marks. Think of your skin like an elastic band, if it’s dry when it’s stretched, it will crack and snap. If it’s moisturised, it’s less likely. So it’s essential to keep your skin moisturised. Will be the main factor is getting a bunch of big stretch marks or not getting one but of stretch marks at all, absolutely not. But it will help.

I had an awful pregnancy, constant hospital trips to the point I had to have blood tests every single week, was constantly admitted to stay in hospital on almost every weekly check up 😴 hated it. Then a horrific birth... emergency c section and then an even worser recover with constant infections/sepsis that were untreaetd and became worse multiple times. NIGHTMARE 😭😭 BUT best little gift ever and would do it all over again for my baby and I just want to say! Although my experience wasn't easy, it's not upsetting or anything like that to hear that yours has been easy! don't feel bad for having a blessed experience. At the end of the day we are all blessed regardless! I hope the delivery of your baby is as easy as the pregnancy has been xxxx ❤

Don't worry too much about the hypnobirthing - I didn't join a course or anything official but just listened completely to my body, let baby come himself and breathed to stay calm! Also had a water birth which helped massively! I also wasn't at all nervous for labour which I do think makes a difference. You're going in with the best attitude which is what will be will be and ultimately it will be the best experience because you'll have your baby girl at the end of it! X

So lucky you’ve had a smooth journey through your pregnancy! I’ve got 2 children, oldest who’s almost 5 and youngest who’s almost 2. At 25 year old, I’m unable to carry babies full term due to complications 😢😢 My youngest was born at 31 weeks (9 weeks early) weighing 2lbs 15oz my youngest born at 34&2 weeks (just over 5 weeks early) weighing 4lbs 15oz. All due to preeclampsia turning to eclampsia, placenta abruption and not feeling the babies move anymore 😢😢 Rushed to theatre with both of them for emergency cesareans! So you’re doing amazing! Wish I could carry full term and experience labour and birth! 🥰😢😢

Stretch marks can come in after pregnancy, I didn't get mine until after I gave birth 🙃 all underboob and on one side of my tummy and inner thighs. I remember when they were red they looked like I'd been attacked by a cat 😂 I religiously used bio oil and nothing will stop it! Your skin is naturally sensitive when pregnant anyway so even when you get itchy you'll scratch and they will mark. Also a top tip, have a bath during labour best thing to relax you

And I have to say I’m walking around looking at my reflection hating my double chin and weight gain. But u have to remind urself, 1) 4 st is actually the average u put on and 2) ur housing a baby, keeping them warm and fed ❤️❤️ I think what’s hard is insta is full of people with these perfect bumps and I was there for so long wishing mine looked different, less high or whatever. But that is society telling us, even when we’re growing a whole organ we still aren’t good enough. Ur doing amazing, enjoy the pregnancy, rest lots, don’t be hard on urself, alsooo as u get bigger u honestly can’t eat as much cos there’s less room 🥲

Stretch marks: it’s true you shouldn’t worry about stretch marks… you can treat them afterwards if they really bother you but I have some tips… I didn’t get stretch marks my daughter is now 17. In my teen years I got stretch marks on my butt so I am prone to getting them. My mother had six children naturally and I followed her advise. Use virgin olive oil/ vitamin E oil preferably warmed into hands and unrefined Shea butter. You can blend them into a body butter I use my ninja blender or whisk it by hand. You need to absolutely rub this all over your growing area when ever you want to SCRATCH. This means you need to have the blend with you at all times. On your travels etc… cut your nails low!!! Do not scratch every time you want to scratch no matter how unbearable moisturise with the Shea butter/ olive oil or VitaminE blend. Don’t scratch .. do daily stretches or exercise and rub that moisture blend in!!!!!!

For the touch and the colour to regain back: it’s called capillary refill basically it’s your blood returning to the vessels after pressure has been applied. It’s a little slower on your bump because the skin is so stretched, it takes a little longer for the blood to return to the capillaries on the bump :) hope this helps

I’m pregnant at the moment, in my second trimester. I also have found that my pregnancy has dragged, and I’m just sitting around waiting. I find it hard to do stuff to take my mind off it, and have had a lot of worries too. Glad I’m not alone in feeling like it drags! I wish you a happy healthy rest of your pregnancy and birth! 💜

All my friends said to me when I was pregnant with my daughter that I was mad because I use to watch one born every minute and loads of videos of other women giving birth but I loved it! Even tho your own experience is different to anyone else’s but I still did 😂

Love you Molly!! Thank you for saying about stretch marks - I tried so many different products when I was pregnant and I still got stretch marks - so I was really pleased to hear you saying that as you are an influencer, and your advice about stretch marks is spot on, and is great advice for other young pregnant ladies. Re cramps, try having deep heat by your bed, so you can rub it into your crampy calves. Massaging your legs when having cramps also helps get the blood flowing and helps stop the cramps. Praying for a smooth delivery for you and baby. 😊❤️

I did the Positive birth company online course and honestly I know it’s hard sometimes to stay focused sometimes but it’s really worth it! I had an amazing experience with my birth and I really do believe if I hadn’t of done the course and learnt about hypnobirthing it wouldn’t of been the same! It’s so worth it But obviously it is your choice💛

I had my baby two weeks ago all natural and had about a 7 hour labor with 15 minutes of pushing. I took gentle birth from Amazon, ate 4 dates a day, took primrose oil supplement, and drank tons and tons of water. I think this really helped me have a fast birth for my first baby

Everyone’s experience is different in life and in pregnancy🌍. I salute you and I cheer on the women who are going thru amazing times in their life. Life can be so extremly hard sometimes as we all know! And we have probably all felt lonely or depressed or judged at times. So when I finally see a woman that is happy and blissfull. I just genuienly hope it lasts for a long time for her, and for anyone who is feeling happy at the moment💛 If you have felt pain or lonelyness, you don’t wish it upon others❤️‍🩹. We all deserve happiness, and we all should cheer each other on and bring more positivity and health into each others lifes🌻. Life is seriously too short, and a lot of it is really difficult! So Cheers to 2023 - A year of being more understanding, less judgemental, and more supporting off others. Even if you cant relate at this time! You never know where life will take you!🌼 Remember that, it starts from with in! Looking at your on mistakes before judging others. Growing and learning starts from within!🌱 Wishing everyone a absoluete blissfull, growthful, happy and amazing 2023! To the now, to the strenght we need for difficult times, and the new happy memories ahead!🌞

the best thing to help through labour is being able to control your breathing and keep yourself calm during contractions, if you panic and lose control it makes the pain worse , you have time in between the contractions to prepare yourself and get ready for the next one coming so it's all about having the right head space 😊 good luck and hope you have a great birth experience and take the pain relief on offer x

The positive birth company are absolutely amazing! I have birthed 2 beautiful baby girls with no pain relief.. I just used the techniques from the videos I watched. I felt like ‘bored’ at the start but I promise it gets better! You learn so much and it actually gets interesting ..just give it a chance🥰 Sending you all the positive vibes molly, your body was definitely made for this🥰❤️

Everything you have said in this video I have said yes to. I had my boy 8 weeks ago, I had no fear coming up to the labour either, and I also have needle phobias. I also didn't get my milk until he was born, and also didn't find anything that worked for my stretch marks. Everything that you're feeling is normal, and I really hope that you are gonna choose to share your birth experience because its so useful for those who are waiting to give birth! Lots of love and I'm so so excited to see her little face and find out her name x

I'm so scared to get pregnant because of all the negative things that are shared around it but this has really helped, because its not the same for everyone and its harder if we always just expect the worse

It’s really not the same for everyone! Everyone is unique! Just make sure any questions (if you decide to have a baby) you may have to ask your midwife! Even if you think it’s silly, it’s about the reassurance more than anything that everything is okay! Good luck for the future if you do decide! And Happy New Year! Xx

Just gave birth to my baby girl two weeks ago and I felt the exact same about pregnancy. I also had a very smooth pregnancy and felt great and felt like my body was designed to carry a child and would do it again in a heartbeat. The birth for me, I’m not going to lie, was extremely tough. Going into it with an open mind is great because you never know what or how everything will happen for you and baby. I didn’t feel any contractions or have any milk leakage before my water broke and I went to the hospital and they gave me pitocin. My milk supply didn’t really come in until 3 days after I had my baby. I wasn’t scared about labor because I didn’t know what to expect, but labor was very hard. I have a high pain tolerance, but once the contractions picked up and became consistent and I reached my max it was very hard. Learning to breathe and the proper way to push is extremely important. I did have an epidural once I reached my max pain level and it really helped for a few hours but I started to feel contractions again right before it was time to push so they had to up it to get me through. The first week of postpartum for me was very difficult and frustrating because I needed so much help to use the bathroom and getting postpartum stuff on. Continuing to heal and am much better now, but the sleep deprivation is no joke. Get as much sleep as you can in the last few weeks because it is very difficult to get sleep in general once baby is here. Time sure flies by quickly once baby is here so do your best to soak up every moment.
