It's good, but deeply flawed and full of compromises. On PC with not only graphical modes it's a dream GTA actually, but still shows lack of thought or focus in some places. YOBAsoft are sure as hell incompitent developers, when they tend to rush things or promise too much.
I actually think that his character in Legion will be like T-Bone’s character in WD1 and WD2, the badass guy who’s somewhat better and much more experienced in the field.
I feel like everyone hates Aiden Pearce and forgets all the times we're made to know he's more than just a gruff hitman in the original game. Doesn't anyone remember those missons where you save jackson? Especially the part where he watches you kill everyone? And Aiden had to explain why he did it? Apparently, the internet doesn't.
Even when his sister was kidnapped, or when Clara died, he showed EMOTION. And people passed over his silent contemplation as nothing, and don't understand what it would be like if THEY were in a similar situation. I feel like I can understand WHY he wanted revenge, WHY he wanted answers. WHY he was so protective of his family. But because a lot of the "Ubisoft fans" on places like Twitter act in such an entitled way sometimes, having never been in a position to understand how it feels to lose a family member like that, say he's just blank. I felt like I could relate to him.
Lol, the same goes to Connor Kenway in Assassin's Creed 3. People always said he is bland and obsessed with Charles Lee. But they never understand that he witnessed his mother's death in front of his eyes as child, and his home get burned down to the ground. He blamed Charles Lee and templars because he thought they burned his village. Such experiences could cause any trauma to anyone.
He has unique abilities all the hero’s do but idk if his will be focus cuss of co op and all but maybe if not that maybe a cool ability involving his pistol
Jake Johnson him having blackout would be cool though I wonder how effective it would be in London compared to where he was before but it could be cool when he’s sneaking into buildings make a mass black out take out 4 people with takedowns in the dark
I can't say I'm surprised. Legion had a major delay and has been in development for quite sometime, they want to make as much profit as possible. Aiden Pearce will definitely help sell the season pass. I don't agree with it at the end of the day - but it's gonna make them $.
@@UbiCentral As much as I wanna pat you on the back for being "understanding" toward AAA devs, you need to know that these guys are big time... Did you pay a seperate price to play as Aiden in WD1 or 2? Nope! (And even though T-bone was payed for seperately, you got a storyline, as well as a reward system and skill addition specifically for it.) Unlike T-bone, Aiden would be, forgive the wording, a figurative chess piece, just like everyone else... Probably one with real impressive skills, which is best EARNED through a mission with deep enough obstacles... Only, he's paid for instead..... Ubi develop just fine, but with business decisions like that, given that Aiden is a demonstrably important part of this universe, I can't say I'd have respect for them. TL;DR: Ubisoft shoved their hand up the fanbase wallet instead of putting it on their shoulder. That's worth scolding if not boycotting. Especially since like other wretches, they've taken advantage of recurrent spending.

The other 3 have to be Marcus, T-Bone and wrench if they’re doing watch dogs characters. Maybe they’ll bring in someone from another game like Sam Fisher though
My guess is probably Wrench because people like him for some reason + maybe someone from another franchise like you said. Think modern day assassins since AC evidently takes place in the same universe. The rest will be unique characters probably.
His first original vigilante outfit from the first game should be a clothing item when customizing him in freeroam for players who want him to wear the same outfit before.
Aiden! Man this makes me wanna play watchdogs all over again. I loved the dark tone they took with the story, because it made the story believable and real. I dunno, there was just something about the story that made it feel like you were watching a TV series, not just playing a game. Please ubisoft, don't make legions tone similar to watchdogs 2.
Ketchup Hotstuff exactly. Also the mission setups of WD2 were boring as you can just use a drone 70% of the time to complete. It felt like a bunch of quirky antisocial teenage activists that want to overthrow the government. Aiden, exposed the corrupted cops, took down an entire meth lab, took down Lucky Quinn, Iraq and others terrorizing the city. The mission design was so fun where you can barge in and kill everyone like the punisher or John Wick.
Aiden went through a hellish nightmare not being able to let go of Lena. He’s not necessarily a bad guy but he does end up doing more good for the public than bad. I’m going to ensure that Aiden keeps that role as the Vigilante we all know and love. Also if you do get a chance to speak to a developer can you ask if they got any inspiration for the design or motives of Aiden from the Ubisoft artist for Watch_Dogs Resurgence?
@Ketchup Hotstuff No, being a menace is fun lol. Explosions, police chases, etc... Being a vigilante is a more stealthy and pacifistic approach which not everyone prefers.
"Not in our name" just seems like the Aiden Pearce mission because it could very well be Aiden doing his own thing and not representing DedSec, but instead getting aid from them for their common goal
I think it's fine for Aiden to be joining the resistance, I mean his own fox logo is literally the game's logo. Another thing that I'd love to see explained is the "little secret" between Dedsec and Aiden that they mentioned at the end of the first game.
Yeah Dedsec are actually mad at him for him due to unwillingness to cooperate. I've liked, that you can do the satellite hack early on and Dedsec will just straight up admire you, but Aiden is clearly of someone's unthrustworthy nature.

My calculations above were based the pretense that WDL takes place in 2050. If the game takes place in 2026 then T-Bone will in his early sixties.
I'm honestly hyped for Aiden's return, the guy took down the most dangerous criminals and gangs in Chicago mostly by himself, he's a legend. Sure the first game wasn't that great in a graphical perspective, but the story and characters watch dogs presented was amazing, Aiden Pearce especially.
My guesses as to who the other DLC characters could be are: Wrench, Marcus, & Sitara from Watch Dogs 2. And it could be very easy to justify their presence too, since they would very likely be quite concerned with Albion's takeover of London and have very realistic concerns that if Albion isn't stopped in London, then Albion may eventually attempt to pull the same thing in the US, so they decide to join up with London's DedSec crew to help stop Albion's takeover of London and therefore preemptively stop Albion from trying the same thing in other cities (especially American cities). And bringing in that trio could also appeal to people who may have played Watch Dogs 2 but not Watch Dogs 1, while Aiden's presence could appeal to people who played the first game but not the second, and it would likely appeal even more to people who played both. But even someone who has never played a Watch Dogs game yet (me) I'm still happy to see them bringing back major characters like Aiden. Legion will be the first Watch Dogs game I actually play.
I hope Marcus comes back. I'm happy that Aiden Pierce is back but I'd rather Marcus come back, and playing with wrench will be super cool! Nice theory by the way! **Spoilers about Watch Dogs 2. You have been warned.** Since I started Watch Dogs 2, I always wanted to play as Wrench. I played as him at the last mission of the game but that isn't enough for me, and if he comes back as a playable character I will be so happy! Edit 1: I corrected a typo :)
@@imanepicgamer4258 I dont think Marcus should return in a watch dogs game, Aiden is a much more unique lore essential character. Marcus? Now hes just some random dedsec guy. Hes not that unique as most dedsec people have his skill.
There had better be some characters that can't die, like Darcy, Wrench, and Aiden, because if I permanently lose Aiden Pearce because I glitched under a bridge and fell out of the world, I am never touching the game again.
I really want to see Raymond Kenny as a playable character, and to have his mission include Tobias because bad blood made me really like the two characters
I replayed Watchdogs 1 and it’s really good. Story was so good. Taught me about how revenge and avenging no matter what aren’t good. How hanging on will destroy your mental state. I’m happy he’s returning
Just offering a differing opinion here I believe he didn’t set anything watch dogs wasn’t defined by the first game it’s proved to be a versatile series with different themes and tones as proved by the second game.
Nah he didn't dude was generic asf along with the story I'm just glad the gameplay carries in both games and btw "flobed" wd2 didn't "flobed" it did as good as wd1 but wasn't appreciated by wd fans
I love Aiden Pearce aswell I would literally walk across the map I enjoyed the characters the amount of detail in the cut scenes everything also the rain making Aidens coat shine just him in general I'm so hyped even more that he is making a return I also love the explosion actions like say when an explosion goes off you would do this different roll and crouch thing wd is my favourite franchise and farcry ubisoft are amazing
On the season pass icon pic, the one on the right looks like Sitara Dhawan. On the left it looks like Marcus Holloway. And last but least the one with the hood up, looks like Wrench or Josh Sauchak. But more i think about it, looks like Wrench. (Just my theory) I could be wrong.
I’m really happy to hear they are bringing him back , please , please Ubisoft , whatever work you put into the original story mode for this game put twice as much into his story , people have missed him and so have I 💯💯💯🙏🏽
Damn, I love how Aiden grows a beard like Kratos’ I mean he is so underrated but he is better than Markus simply because he has been in the action far more and if you played the game, Aiden Pearce has done lots of shit that not even Markus can do but kinda had, He also is the most realistic because from what you seen he had a beard and is the peak of hacking
i love aiden with his revenge story for his niece and back in legion double suprise for me :D but i wish creator give a hope or chance...maybe like "Marcus" and "Wrench" back to legion too, i guess?
Who's to say he's even part of the whole play as anyone Shtick? Since he has a dlc story why couldn't it work like Bad Blood and he's selectible from the main menu. Giving him his own version of the open world separate from the main game, making him free to be against both Albin and DedSec. Imagine having to fight one of your characters you've spent a long time on as a boss, and if you have permadeath on you have to subdue them non-lethality if you wanna keep them in the main game. Speaking of permadeath this would also fix that by just making his part like most other game, you know with a game over and restart from the last checkpoint.
Thats a really cool idea ngl. I was thinking something the same. Cause if u have him part of your team everyone is gonna play as him you know? So if they made his dlc separate it would make you use the other people.
I think he will be part of play as anyone stick. As his trailer has a cutacene wich is from the main story. Meaning that most likely he can be played in the main story (Will be intresting what he has to say about the events unfolding.)
In watch dogs 2 was that hint of the new entry of the games (watch dogs legion) and that could mean that the protagonist of the second game could also be a playable character in this one
I really hope they don’t forget how badass Aiden was. One of my only problems with the first game was how the story never once acknowledges how Aiden is so good at literally anything combat related. The first game just glossed over that fact but I hope there’s atleast a small reference to Aiden’s John Wick skills in legion. It would make playing as Aiden feel even more badass imo.
Finished Watch Dogs 2 not that long ago. Never got the chance to play the original. Thank goodness that the season pass of legion comes with Watch Dogs 1.

Why does Ubisoft keep attaching beards to characters when they are “older”? Sam Fisher has a beard and now Aiden Pearce has a beard. Do they think the beard symbolizes age? And I hope they answer in his story as to why he went to London.
Sony with kratos too, it is a common resource to remark the age of one character, damn even i let my beard grow for 4 months just for a theatre performance on my school last year.
I'm also a huge Watch Dogs fan and Watch Dogs 1 is still my favorite game to this day. Hearing the news, I was overwhelmed with excitement and I can't wait to see how he plays, his kit, and his story!
1:42 no, we do know the reason why he was there in the side mission the bratva and the auntie shu boys were involved in a human trafficking ring according to the story, he came to SF since he traced a lead to the bratva there he tried to shut down the ring but he got captured, and so marcus helped him escape
The original Watch_Dogs is one my favorite games and I absolutely love Aiden Pierce, a lot of people think the story was bad and many of the mechanics weren't done properly which is true. personally had no issue connecting my emotions to Aiden's because I tend to empathetic towards everyone so I don't need all the build up of relationships and family to understand how a character feels when they lose someone close, which a big complaint for the story was that there wasn't enough time spent with Aiden's family to be able to feel angry or be in a state of urgency when his sister was kidnaped. I felt that urgency and that panic as I also wanted to get revenge on Maurice and I was satisfied with the choice I made at the end. Although those problems with the story are still problems and the story was most definitely lacking and failed to bring out Aiden's full potential as a character as well as his Family's potential, I had an absolute blast playing as John Wick with the Hacker and Vigilante add-ons installed witch is how Aiden felt to me. He was and Is an absolute badass, and still one of my favorite characters of the Franchise.
I feel like the other 3 unique characters in the game will probably be Sitara from WD2 ( the person on the left looks kinda like a girl ). Raymond Kenney or T-Bone because why not and HOPEFULLY Marcus from WD2 because he has a great personality.
This series should’ve had one protagonist and it should’ve been about aidens story but ubi decided to make another ac and change protagonists thinking it’s gonna work well and it didn’t imo like AT ALL.
Ikr, people hate him because he “lacks personality”, but I think when you’re in his position, you’re not supposed to show feelings although you really want to. And that’s why I like Aiden and think he’s cool.
I've actually just started playing Watchdogs 1 for the first time. And I'm kinda digging it tbh. Yea the pace can get a bit slow at times, but kinda what I like about is, and I'm enjoying the open world.
I FINALLY found another person who likes the first watch dogs game. I think Aiden is my favorite Ubisoft character yet, so much in his story touched me and made me feel thrilled about it, it made my experience with watch dogs 1 a lot more enjoyable
imagine this:a dlc where Marcus and "the gang"is in London cuz they wanna help London's DedSec fight,Jordi is on a business trip in London and wants some help from marcus and Aiden is in London cuz he finded out clara is somehow still alive and sitara was her childhood friend and she was also the last person clara spoke to....
He was what made me want to play Watch Dogs again after never finishing. Best character in the series. (having an OldBoy tribute character was badass to)
Maybe, when you play as aiden pearce maybe the devs decided to bring back his unique hacking ability from original watchdogs like a blackout hacking to escape from Albion police just like he did in Chicago to escape from the police.
Well if I had to guess to The other 3 characters T-Bone (Raymond Kenny), Wrench, and Marcus makes most sense since they were important and loved characters of the story

I was so hyped for the news when Aiden was announced, that all I could do was go through comments and leave mines. Watch the trailer a few times and some reactions. Because I had been missing a lot. And wish he had a sequel. Well hopefully they can give him one since fans were going crazy over the news. Couldn't wait for your reaction of all things. Glad you made the video
