SoD made me really negative and I let it bleed into the fun of my guildies. It took a while until I realised I was acting like someone I didn't recognise as I'm usually goofy, upbeat and chill. Negativity has a tendency to feed off itself and echo chambers (even silent disapproval) so it's hard to notice until some time has passed or when you're called out. I watch Savix's videos because his laugh is infectious and makes my day better.
He lives with trauma in that house. There is a lot of negative energy. from his parents getting divorced, his mom passing away, all the bad stuff he did to his body and mind. Cleaning the house will be a Cleaning of his soul and a small reset of his soul. The old saying sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me. they do hurt sometimes, but one should never wish harm on people or person. I hope this is true growth for the one know as "The One True King." thanks for your video fist time viewer and now a new subscriber. 👍 👏
Have you ever seen the shows Hoarders or Extreme Makeover? This would be awesome content. If anyone watched Asmon for a long time (As I have, I started with his YT videos.) You know how much he gets emotionally attached to objects and/or things around that house that means something to him. If he streams cleaning/picking up things around the house. (Let's face it, Most of it needs to go.) We would see how much that changes him emotionally. That Extreme Makeover show is amazing. I have see the most disgusting, vile and nasty homes and then by the time they was done with it? Looked brand new.
@UziRaz there is no justification. What he said was, wrong period. any person wishing harm to anyone is downright evil. now am I one to judge a person no, am I one to condemn him no. asmongold has to reep what he sowed has to live with that till the day he dies. no matter what he does, even if he gave his wealth to charity. The internet would always remind us of his error. I am a convicted felon, I was out of work for 5yrs i served my time. But, I was always reminded of it when i applied for a job and had to explain it to the employer. Then finally someone took a chance, and gave me a 2nd chance of life and to rebuild. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, but we do need to hold him accountable.
@@UziRaz If a war crime apologist completely disavows what they said, tells people they were wrong, can they still be considered an active war crime apologist? I feel like some people just have such deep trust issues that they can't help but cling to past hurt like it's going to save them from future pain and don't give anyone a second chance. As for me, I'll see how it goes moving forward, if he actually does change and make good on this apology, I think it's worth forgiving him for saying something stupid. People can grow, change, and evolve if you let them, even RU-vidrs and Twitch streamers, not everyone is a Logan Paul.
Just like Savix there trying to stay relevant. React videos etc. All trash. Not one has had an original idea since well forever. Should just stay in there lane and play games
Bro you can't say that if you really watched asmon for a long time. Sure asmon said he voted Trump and told us that in his house, his mom always watched fox news and other right wing media and all that, BUT he never was super outspoken about politics. He most of the time tried to be very neutral and not talk about it too much because he knew people are not looking for him talking about politics, but mostly escapism. He also acknowledged that there are a lot of backgrounds that he didnt fully understand or have the information to undestand them fully (not that he would not be capable of that, he was just not so interested). The last 2 years he somehow started to think that he just knows everything and truly became a insufferable person that preaches "the truth". Just watch 2019 classic streams, which aren't even that old. He was way different there. Now all of his channels mostly evolve around anti woke and culture war stuff
@@fritzschnitzmueller3768 This is also true!, but with Mcconnel he also has his part of the truth, in the last two years, constantly in his steams his friends, Mcconnel and his father were constantly telling him to stop talking back and being so asshole with people just for having a different opinion, he started to pander to the “truth and base opinions” group and that leads to a spiral of hate very fast because you start to create your own bubble or space where you only listen to the people who tell him that your opinion is the right one, and in the long run all this led to what happened days ago with his twitch ban.
He used to be more sarcastic about these things and didn’t take them too seriously. He said those words in a mean spirited way and even if he was right, the motivation behind that wasn’t something he was okay with.
@@jordanmann420 that’s fine that you’re a sociopath but you’re talking to 1 person not 25,000 per stream. Plus nobody cares about your or what you’re putting out because you’re insignificant. Cheers 🙏🤡
There's nothing wrong with talking about politics. Plus literally politics from Greek, many talk. Actually everything is talking about politics. Every subject is also inherently a political subject. And Joe Rogan has already been political, it's fine for him to have the candidate on his show or for artists in general to go into all areas of politics. Many people enjoy because they choose to be in the niche of a place people relax or go to be away from politics, similar to sports. Asmons fans like him because he doesn't cover politics, and it would be only downhill if he shys away from certain subjects or by effect giving into the fear pressure pushed in politics to censor itself. So in this way not talking about politics actually is being more political.
The people who are saying he shouldn't have apologized are absolute immature, edgy, scumbags. It's really pathetic for grown men to be carrying on like that.
idk what exactly or generally said. Because it won't show up on youtube as mods won't let that youtube channel be banned aswell. As i haven't seen the live stream, i have no idea what he exactly said. What he says in his apology video, that he does not care... he speaks for most people. It is completely normal for person to not care about people that they do not know. It is normal. Saying it out loud will get you banned tho. Sure there are people who enjoy caring about people they have nothing in common and live thousands and thousands of kms/miles away. My personal experience with certain group of people is similar to what is being shown on media.
interesting how asmon got banned for 2 weeks for something hasan himself has been saying for years. its obvious twitch has political bias at this point. “They have an inferior culture”- Hasan (anti-imperialist) Piker when defending China’s conquest of Tibet.
@@rabee53 tf are you talking about anti jew? there's innocent children and women there that don't even think about this stuff...you are so delusional. also no one was forcing him to support them, he just didn't need to say the offensive things he said
21:23 what i like about savix is he is funny and nice guy the thing i dont like is you stoped playing ff14 man i miss those days man you were the best at making ff14 videos only you and Pint PPC
Wasn't there a guy who warned us about people coining the term "Islamophobia" eventually escalating and making it a literal crime to criticize them in anyway? You can tell people not to miss next time they take a shot at Trump but damn if you dare to speak ill of a cult stuck in the dark ages your done.
His apology sounds like its for a case of sexually harassment or something! Let's be clear, he said some 'WORDS' that people disagreed with, and nothing illegal like an actual call for violence. This has been blown way out of proportion and we all know why it is, its because you can't talk badly about a certain religion/culture, especially one that aligns with Twitch's politics (Which is what ever Hasan agrees with).
You're assuming he's being forced to apologize. Sure it's not illegal, but if he thinks it's wrong to say that he doesnt care about innocent people dying (and it sounds like he does) then he will probably feel the need to say sorry. I mean he explains it pretty well. Yeah people will get extra upset at this particular case because it's the current thing in the media spotlight, but maybe that extra backlash is what he needed in order to recognize it.
@@fourjhin_cookieslet's be honest, that's not why he was banned. Hassan calls other cultures inferior and has said things worse about Israel, and even saying things like "America deserves 911" without a ban. Asmon said something against certain protected people and that's it. If he said the things he said towards America instead then he wouldn't be banned.
@fourjhin_cookies How am I assuming he was being forced to apologise? I'm making a case that his apology doesn't match the severity of what he's supposed to have done wrong. He said it himself that this backlash has led him to go on some journey of change. Would we have the same level of apology had he been speaking against a different religion/culture and was not banned from Twitch? Imo if it was in align with Hasans 'side' then we would not be seeing an apology to this extent.
It's sad that savix thinks he is an asshole or toxic from getting jaded from the internet. He's obviously a good guy, no.. even better, he is a gochu brother.
I mean, he was not wrong that some cultures are inferior you could say. Like a culture of a cannibalistic tribe is obviously objectivelly inferior to any other culture that does not in fact eat people. Like, cmon. He just has this IDGAF way of saying things. If he was more carefull whit his wording, he wouldn't be banned IMO.
Nah he would still be banned because twitch admins are in hasans pocket and hasan was super mad at him. Dude the twitch admins literally sang a birthday song for hasan and hasan was not banned for showing all that terrorist propaganda lmao. He got banned because he made hasan and the twitch admins mad for being anti-palestine.
@@jentachs I definetly agree that there is a double standard and Hasan would't get banned if he was in Asmon's shoes. ( well, he basically did the same thing and didn't gen banned so..) Still I think that Asmon wouldn't get banned if he was a bit more carefull with the way he said that. I bet It's the IDGAF aura that pissing everyone off, including Twitch admins and Hasan. They are just so stupidly emotional about it that they themselves can't see it. They are that stupid. And even if they realize how emotionally blinded they are, they will play stupid and try to gasslight you into thinking you are the problem.
yea it was the wording. he shouldnt have connected the "inferior culture" to a whole country. generalizing is the wrong way in any discussion. and calling a whole country inferior is obviously wrong, cause there will always be people that are innocent and dont want to have anything to do with the violence taking place.
He had a super stupid moment and acknowledged it. What he said was stupid. Sure you could say "its just the wording". But cmon, thats some trickery. You could say that for everything
The elephant in the room that he timidly tip toes around is the level of vitriol when talking about how they deserve it. I hope on his little break he re evaluates his own moral framework and why death to people he disagrees with brings him some degree of satisfaction (in the manner of 'well they had it coming'). Also, Asmon says words don't matter and that may be the most unintelligent thing he's ever said and he's said a lot of dumb things. Propaganda exists, has existed, and will always exist. People like Asmon have such a huge platform with a huge reach across the world. The truth is his words carry more weight than the average person. I could say the same things he said to my friends/family and not get nearly as much backlash because I'm just a nobody. Whether anyone likes it or not Asmon is a somebody and the things he says hold more weight and have a much larger degree of consequence. I hope he also reevaluates this position on how powerful words can be.
Way to completely miss the point on this part "Also, Asmon says words don't matter and that may be the most unintelligent thing he's ever said and he's said a lot of dumb things. Propaganda exists, has existed, and will always exist." He said this in the context of making changes and wanting to change. In that case, words does not matter - action does, always has and always will. And it also seems like you are unable to actually understand what he meant in his original claim, that it was religious extremists. That's also why he was banned, he did a shit job at making clear what he actually meant it towards. No one is getting banned for saying that religious extremists had it coming if they voice the same wishes towards other people, that has never happened and will never happen. Making it sound like that ALL people had it coming, makes it a shit take and warrant a ban.
Tbh words don't matter until SOMEONE cares enough about said words. If noone listens or do not care then the words lose their meaning and impact, so in a way he's correct. But in real life words does matter, because people DO care. Most of the times the care too much.
nahh he went overboard by demonizing a whole country. its okay to be against a culture or religion that incentivizes any kind of violence. but its not okay to say everyone in country "X" is violent. cause most of the people living there likely have nothing to do with the terror happening down there. if anything, they are victims of that violence.
I agree, and even if he didn't mean it, and used the wrongs words he still shouldn't have apologized. A simple clarification of what he was really trying to convey and then move the f on.
"They deserve it" probably isn't true. You know, taking about the babies. But everything else, yes. Islam does not promote free thought in the way that the Western world values. It's not a secret. It doesn't mean it's incompatible, but fundamentalist conservative interpretations are.
@@twitchmania7614 kinda odd since if it was too stressful he would have step down earlier and even if he didn’t said that would he have step down this week?
99% of people are missing the most obvious point of this entire situation and the apology. Asmons business partner is Iranian. I'm not exactly sure of his religion but Esfand is definitely Iranian and he is mostly likely Muslim even if he isn't practicing. Palestine and Iran are extremely close allies and obviously heavily support each other. Esfand isn't openly political or religion but he probably doesn't take kindly to the broad generalization that him and his family are blood thirsty savages and nothing more than canon-fodder. The key part of this apology is that he is being removed from his position from OTK which means that OTK has a problem with this (meaning Esfand has a problem with this). The 14 day Twitch ban is completely irrelevant, so what? He'd be back in two weeks. For him to make this apology, this is more than that, and for him to say that "these Islamist" are the ones who reached out to him to make sure he was okay it wouldn't surprise me if that was also Esfand. Esfand is a gentle giant and it wouldn't surprise me if him and Asmon had a really long talk. (well we know they did because he's stepping down from OTK)
Seems a bit far fetched. The ties are between the Iranian regime and Hamas not Iranian people with Palestine. The regime wants to wage war and gives money to terrorists group instead of fixing their country for the Iranian people.
@@minementalx "gives money to terrorists group instead of fixing their country for the Iranian people." do you understand that Iran is under internationnal sanctions and embargo since like 1990 ? How do you "fix your country" when you for exemple can't buy anything from USA/most of Europe ?
@@albertadrien1834 That doesn't counter anything. The regime spends money on militias and terrorist groups, so there is money to spend. They don't want to fix anything for the people because they want control them. I don't think the sanctions of certain goods are right, but that doesn't make the Iranian regime and their actions better... I have nothing against the people, my uncle is Iranian and he and my aunt are living there at the moment.
@@minementalx What do you mean "doesn't counter anything" ? My point is 80% of the world try to break Iran and then the same 80% of the world are suprise that things don't go well there.
