We literally study this in sociology and its called a growth vs fixed mindset lolz. Just found it kinda cool that JJ figured out this theory through experience alone and worded it perfectly
@@ligmaballs7759 ofc its his choice, but the thing of him being at his best is just bs and if it is true then he isnt good at boxing at all cuz fighting like this will never land him anywhere.
@@aryanpramanik454 that's why you keep training, every boxer starts off somewhere, they don't magically get good, it takes time and effort, he was clearly putting the effort, but he didn't have enough time. Instead of beating someone when they fall, help them up and let them try again.
Deji's mind isn't in the right place, he needs to take the time to rediscover who he really is and figure things out. Get away from the noise, flashy light and fake people. I respect JJ for being honest about his brother.
JJ is being honest and was telling him what he needed to hear, but was it really necessary saying this online? That part kinda felt like JJ was publicly humiliating him.
@@aravindbalajig1575 ikr even I thought about it. Like bruh just call or DM him . Is jj just doing this for views. If he really wanted to give advice just meet him he is your brother
Love KSI im a huge fan, but dont think Alex Wassabi deserved that negative energy. He was respectful throughout the whole boxing event and even encouraged Deji to keep fighting after the fight.
No but I honestly love what you say about doing things for your own sake rather than others. I was actually just telling someone that at my previous job, when I started living up to my own standards instead of others, I had more success and felt better overall. You're such an inspiration jj, I've been following you for a very long time. Love your content, love you.
As an older brother who was in a very similar situation, I understand JJ. However, as an older brother, JJ should know to control himself and realise there is no point kicking the dead horse. Especially in front of millions of people
@@revenant9277 well because he needs to put awareness to his brother doing it privately wont cut it he is trying to tell deji and his fans that deji needs to work harder and not keep doing excuses and that’s by showing him that he needs to be confident infront of everyone
@@ayhamsari9993 hard work isn't the problem anymore though. Deji clearly worked hard leading up to the fight. He changed his mentality and physical condition for the better. That's why the vinnie hacker situation was different because deji was just lazy. So since the work ethic and laziness isn't the problem anymore; what is it about getting through to deji that needed to be public for millions to see?
A real brother gets straight to the point to make sure their siblings understand what they did wrong without needing to sugar coat anything. I respect this, JJ.
@@aiai8479 his audience is waiting for a response and he can't run from it anyways if u were in his position you would do a video response as well he isn't throwing his brother under the bus he is teaching him a good lesson
Those who have younger brothers understand the motive & heart behind what JJ is doing here. It's really love. Telling beautiful lies helps no one, but the truth will transform. Salute JJ 💯
Is it really love, is it all in my mind Is it crazy I think of you all of the time, baby Is it really love, can you give me a sign 'Cause I'm losin' my head tryna make you mine
Looks like this video literally helped him. Normally he’d be fucking toxic after the fight, but this time he was humble after the win. He did it for himself this time and look what he did. GG Dej and GG JJ for not being a yes-man and being real with him. You love to see it!
Yea its a good justification for abusing the fact Deji can't talk back or he's cancelled. Because JJ had no reason for this video other than to blast Deji.
i have a younger brother and if we were in this scenario i’d say all these things you did except personally not on a youtube video for the world to see. there were some personal things you said that maybe didn’t need to come out, but in general deji really needs this. the only people who tell you your mistakes and correct you are the ones who love you and want to see you succeed. everyone else just judges and moves away.
Sometimes raw, honest constructive criticism is supportive. This is one of those times. Also the only time Deji listens is when hes called out in public. KSI is his brother... hes tried keeping matters private before. We all know how that turned out.
i dont understand whats wrong with it being in public. yall act like he is humiliating his brother but all he does is being real straightforward, he gave the most mature take than every other being who are giving sugar coated useless BS. it seems like all deji's yes men snowflake fans are being offended on behalf of him.
@@zeuxlaught2797 horrible take lmao, u said u don’t know what it should be in private then went on explaining what he meant in the video rather than why it shouldn’t be in private. U can be “straight up” and not sugar coat it in private lmao what
I have close friends who talk to me like this (arguably even harsher at times) and i understand it completely. Especially with what jjs saying gives some deja vu
Disagree heavily, this didn’t need to be a public video, he could’ve said this privately instead of ridiculing him online in front of millions I actually like KSI btw, it’s just not the mature way to tackle this stuff
He is literally one of the nicest people in the platform man, he had nothing but praise for deji after the fight. Kai is just kinda being a dick to Alex wasabi just because he thought deji was gonna win
@@SilverThroned i dont hate wassabi or anything but it still doesnt change the fact that wassabi is a terrible boxer. He could barely hit deji even with that reach. And it isnt cus deji is super good at slipping punches its cus his punches were slow as fuck.
I've competed in combat sports since 2009. Deji froze. He got nervous to exchange that's why he stayed on outside and didn't throw combinations and would clinch. I hope he listens to you bro. You're a good brother.
Bro, that's what I said too, like. I've never fought like, professionally, but it looked like Deji was more frozen, than he was goofing around. He keeps overthinking every move and just goes in for the clinch. He needs to have that mentality of, "It's either me or you. And I wanna win REALLY really badly" JJ keeps it real, and not only that. If anything, he's still supporting his brother's choices.
“Lose humbly” you nearly cried and kicked a sign on tv in front of millions of people because you lost a fight. You got humbled This is part of your karma. Stay Humble
isnt that more of frustration because he knows how hard hes worked and was disappointed with nobody but himself, i think anyone who had put in so much effort has every right to be mad and upset or disappointed after a loss like that
yeah but his point is he's telling Deji to be humble in defeat, yet he's throwing temper tantrums about losing, it just makes him look worse @@lyric5922
No bruv because ita a 50 50 between the internet between him and fury but in these losses and it was unanimous and there is so many clips saying ksi got robbed adesanya eddie hearn most of the boxers it shouldve beena draw or ksi won no other way
man i supported deji but after the press conference and weight in's, i think alex deserves the W. man came in his territory, he was being booed, he was being hated but instead of getting mad, he stayed calm and said positive things in return like bruh- and jj is saying the real things fam, hope he understands and take this in the right way but respect for both of em to go in the ring and fight 🖤
Damn you went in on Alex. He seems like a really nice and genuine guy. What won over my respect was when that idiot jumped into the ring, the first thing Alex did was look at your brother and ask if he was good. He's a good dude.
@@praveshpokharel211 really? The only thing I remember between Alex and JJ is Alex challenged JJ, and JJ said no and after that, JJ kept trashing on him.

It’s annoying how these people try to discredit Alex’s W by saying oh if deji would have thrown he would have won blah blah blah like nah he’s was just better. He won fair and square no excuses
he should come back there's no point in giving up now, clearly his defence is incredible...he improves his attack and he'll go unbeaten marks my words edit: deji won as I said he would, best performance of the night fs, bro came out of the fight untouched whilst fousey broke like 3 bones 💀

It’ll change your mentality for 5 minutes until you forget the saying. Then you’ll go back to not trying your best again. I do however, like the dramatic ending, “Thank you, JJ”
Can't wait to see the video of ksi saying my thoughts on deji winning 🤩 and he was right, he could amd did put on a bigger show then anyone else has done on RU-vid.
KSI is being so real. He’s not telling Deji to GIVE UP he’s telling him to get in the RIGHT STATE and get the right ‘mentality’ and then try again. But until then, figure out what it is HE wants to do, not what other people want to see from him 👏🏼
@@CristanioPeweyyy A real one. Boxing isn't a game if you don't take it 100% seriously you can get seriously hurt in there. Deji doesn't need to box so if his heart isn't 100% in it there is no point him doing it. Gassing up a poor performance like that would be what a bad brother would do.
Alex Wasabi was originally a kids youtube channel, that's probably why he act childish, but other than that, he is humble, he is respectful, doesn't deserve that much hates. Man just want to do some real boxing with somebody for once
People complaining about him being tough : how many of us would want to have someone who gives enough of a care to give you in detail, the reasons why you fucked up and how to get better? Everyone honestly. Even the best people sometimes get complaisant and aren't hard enough on the introspection side, we all need a guy like JJ around to push us further. I just don't feel it will ever resonates with Deji since it's like the 3rd video i watch on the topic :D

Jj is actually right about Deji. Deji seems to be like a "people pleaser" type of person. When I saw him face to face with Alex, he was all stone cold attitude and it gave me hope that he might win this by his seriousness. But then, when the press conferences came, he was all gassed up because the attention of the crowd and was talking shit to Alex(I think it was just to sell a fight, but still abit weird when he was all stone cold before). I respect that you're being completly straight forward about how you feel after he did lose 3 times. But as a person with 3 brothers, comparing yourself to Deji, will ruin the entire statement your making because being compared to siblings sounds just selfish and egotistical. He shouldn't be embarrassed. He bettered himself physically/mentally and improved significantly against someone who was bigger than him and had more training. I will never understand why so many people underestimated Alex
