My thoughts on Greek yoghurt - Dominique Ludwig Nutrition

So here you have it. Sometimes I use full fat yoghurt, but when it comes to thicker yoghurts or Greek yoghurts, I often tend to go low fat so that I can elevate the protein.
I’m trying out lots of different brands at the moment, but these are my top three. Actually since trialling this, I actually preferred the 5% @fage_uk yoghurt, as it has a better texture and still has a high protein content.
Cottage cheese is another alternative at 10g of protein per 100 grams and quark can be up to 13 g of protein /100g.
If you are not intolerant to dairy these are great way of upping the protein in your breakfast (your kids breakfast). I use them in lots of different ways, in sweet and savoury dishes.
These ones are all probiotic, which means they contain live bacteria which is better for our guts and supports our beneficial@gut bacteria.

-Fage Greek Yogurt 0, 2% or 5%
-Biotiful Protein original (Quark)
-Yeo Valley Super Thick
If you can’t eat dairy Alpro Soy Greek is the next best thing.
So I think it depends what you’re trying to achieve. The weight gain you might want to stick with a full fat Greek yoghurt, for weight, maintenance, blood, sugar balance, and for feeling full up for longer, you may want to try the high protein lower fat versions.
