The best upgrade is to change the input capacitor according to your own system. I had to reduce the capacitance by half, but it is all dependent on the capacitance of your cable and pickup.
My guess is it sounded dark before your teaks! The CA Azur stuff was all dark sounding. Why CA??? I have an Azur BD 752 blu ray/sacd/cd/media player that is DEAD sounding. It has since new. Kelvin from London on you tube says his Azur amp sounds that way too. Hope you woke that think up!!
