15:11 I disagree here. Zane turning off his emotion meter in the beginning and then realizing it’s benefits later on was the most realistic transition from grieving Nya to getting back in action. Kai and Jay seriously needed an episode like that
To sum Crystalized up, there were too many ideas in some parts, and too little ideas in others. Stuff that needed more time wasn’t given that time, yet worthless fluff was focused on much more than needed. Great video!
I actually really loved this season! I know a lot of people had a hard time with it, but I felt like it was emotionally realistic and actively exciting. Listening to your perspective, I see some of the weird things. I still think the season was good, but the different perspective was refreshing! (The ten second Oni Lloyd was a little awkward, tho, I'll agree to that. I feel Lloyd would have had a few more Oni outbursts 😅)
I like it for what it is I hoped for a 10/10 especially for this season but I'd give it 9/10 because there was a little wasted time . And something I noticed back in season 2 was the overlord saying in the battle on the dark island ( I can do this for eternity but can you? ) That's interesting now isn't it 😂 in the end it felt like originally the season was gonna be darker but they switched it at the last moment but maybe they be setting something up for 2023
I dont know why but I really want that one crystal dude that fell into prime evils eye to be a running gag in ninjago United, only found in the most distant parts of ninjago lol(I also found it weird he was the only one that could sprint lol)
I agree with you taco the some things that should have done with crystallised to make it look good Tommy should have make it look better and interesting at the same time
14:05 On the Ninjago Wiki, it says that the Crystal Council (Except for maybe Mr. F) all went to Kryptarium Prison after the battle. Idk if that’s true or not but it would make sense.
I actually like crystalized, I know the season has it's downfalls and all of that, and I do admit that the season has some big disappointments and I get it but I really see the good side of the season even though I don't like a lot of things like the other people. But I do like it
I have a few complaints and wishes myself. I wish Wu died either after his fight with the crystal king or right after the ninja unlocked dragon form in order to balance the high and low beats of the season. The scene where Lloyd unlocked the Oni form would be exactly the same as it was but Garmadon would have actually died. I wish that the ninja did turn into the dragon and then Lloyd would have embraced the Oni power and turned into the Oni and actually killed the Overlord. Then I like the original ending to the season where Lloyd became the villain I guess. He would have lost his mind and then in order to save his friends, destroy the temple leaving Harumi to then also die as well. Lloyd would now be dead. However, my biggest complaint is that we didn't get the original four ninja fighting the Crystal King Endgame style. Overall, this season was cool
Cristalyst was in my opinion a very good season because all the villians and aspecialy haruma and overlord just workt together. I really liked the plot twists and all the characters that have returned from other seasen. That's why its a very good final.
What i would do to fix this season is that nya doesn’t get her power back, wu dies in the episode brave but foolish, all 5 villains die fighting ninja instead of going to prison, Garmadon dies for real then Lloyd uses his oni form to destroy the overlord but then Lloyd became so angry that he took the throne so the ninja use the ultra golden dragon to turn him back to normal
Crystalized is a guilty pleasure at this point. The writing is kinda sloppy, and it's not the best written thing ever, I've seen. Oni Lloyd was underwhelming, and the lack of accountability and consequences, I get why that would rub people the wrong way. But what matters is how it makes you feel. And I enjoyed Crystalized for what it is. It's not perfect, (I've seen horribly written plots before, trust me) but I'm open to Ninjago 2023, because of how they're gonna handle the future of Ninjago.
