AHHHH I would so LOVE if you put these on your store! I love sketchbooks so much and to have something you drew originally on one... i can't.. it's almost to be good to be true! xD ♡
Loved your little sketch book with the sea horse on it. You do such wonderful drawing, & you make it look easy, which it's not :) Thanks for showing this & sharing you amazing talent with everyone!
I really need to try to buy one from your etsy! I believe having your art on the front would remind me of your teachings to take my time, never give up, and keep practicing! I hope you can do a multiple size pack or something sometime because I love having many sizes for the size of inspiration. :)
Loved the sea horse! Could you maybe do a tutorial on how to draw one? Or other sea creatures? Maybe a mini tutorial series on sea creatures would be great too :) Love your art Valerie :)
What was it like drawing in highschool? Like being an artist? Also do you have any old sketchbooks from then that you could show us? it'd be rly cool, thanx, bye😄
This year I will be only going to the Eugene Oregon Comic con, next year I will try to attend a few more local ones. If they work well, then I will be looking at other locations. :) I would love to visit Texas.
Honestly I'm still mad at my past self for learning something useful but not remembering it. There's this one drawing I did and while it isn't so great in comparison to my current work (despite being like a year ago, wow) I had the smoothest coloring job I've ever done in my entire life. Smooth blending too, and this was back when I used only spectrum noir markers and not my combination of copics, prisma (the brush ones) and colored pencils (although now I do use my spectrum noir again to make up for a whole bunch of missing colors). And like, I can't do that at all now and I know I looked up tutorials to do that, but why did it only apply to that one drawing?
It's both strange and frustrating when that happens. It's happended to me before as well where there's like this ONE THING i did before and can't do now... ahh, so frustrating! That there is almost reason enough to start recording your drawing process and making a youtube or something xD Just so you can look back on that video and be like 'AHAH! SO THATS HOW I DID IT' haha. I hope you remember how to do it again soon :)
That seahorse is so beautiful! It almost seems like it's glowing! :) Also, keep an eye out! I'm working on a card for you. I used my real name, so... yeah. I'll make sure to put my RU-vid name inside. :) Less confuzzling that way!
ye ik but just incase someone wanted a moleksine itself and i mean its just that smth pronounced "mole skin" can be a bit disconcerting also copics are vegan and the pencils probably are too but idk
Hey. I love you soo much. And I would really love it so much if u could draw Bella and Edward from twilight. If you draw it can you can u base the picture on twilight the first movie. Like how they look in the first movie and what they wear. It's my birthday in a week and it would really make my day. U are so good at drawing 💗💗💗💗
I know, but i don't think she has done a border collie, and that is my favorite dog... their ears are so unique, they're so smart, and they're so loyal. They're also cute, and responsive... aaah the list could go on forever.
if I had a pretty high quality sketchbook, I think I'd be too afraid to use it, contaminating it with my crappy sketches.. maybe a cheap crappy sketchbook would be better..
I saw a youtube tutorial, can't remember where, where the person said that the more you practice from references the more you build up your memory bank. You can also doodle. Sit down, make a shape, add shapes to the shape and so on until you see something you can make out of the doodle. It's great warmup and you exercise the imagination. :)
