My Thoughts on the BreyerFest 2023 Models! || Special Runs, Limited Editions, & Ticket Model Horses

The mare and foal set this year have me in an absolute chokehold - absolute must haves for me LOL

Hoping to attend Breyerfest virtually. I'm only getting three models though… hehe can’t spend everything lol.

The donkey and Araba and jumping drive we're probably my favorite from this year.I'm very grateful .my mom helped me to get all of the one I wanted. I can't wait to pick them up at breyerfest.thank you so much for the video.

As a probably online attendee I’m probably going to go for Studebaker + Buggy- I love a good flashy model but just don’t love Araba’s mold and already have SBH Pheonix- if I go in person Speos is a MUST, he looks a lot like my horse

Sadly I will not be attending Breyerfest at all this year, but I definitely think I will purchase Tilly or Wells secondhand!

Jump & Drive is my must have favorite, and Wells. If the surprise is Hamilton, I will love it no matter what coat it is XDDD

I like the best of B-fest stablemates. I don't have 2 of the molds, and I would get them for those. I also like the crystal Calliope---I have the original breakable one, and several of the mini whinny unicorn versions. I also want the white trotter. (Jan Griffiths).

My favorite models this year so far is Wells and the best of breyerfest stablemate set because 2013 was the first time I ever attended breyerfest! I also really like buggy so he is a need for me as well! I won't be attending in person this year but I look forward to seeing everyones posts about it!!

I love a lot of the coat colors and patterns they did this year but it's the molds that are killing me 😩 Not a vintage mold lover lol

I bought a VIP Ticket and chose Peanutine the Donkey and Surrey & Axle the mare and foal set as my 2 VIP Special Runs and also selected FVA'S Grand Design on the othello mold and Via Lattea as my 2 Limited Edition picks

The horses for this year's BreyerFest are quite unique I must say. Between the few spot Appaloosa mare in the mare and foal set and the decorator Adamek, they are truly out of the box!

I got my VIP ticket today! I got araba and Nemea! And for my LEs I got Via lattea and tilly! I can’t wait for Breyerfest! I’m not getting my AA tickets until after Breyerwest as I want to see the others in person

I feel the same way about Wells! I think he will be one of those ones that looks nicer in hand than in photos, but I am also hoping he will be at BreyerWest or featured in a live stream or something so we can get a better look at him. This year I'd say my categories are- Love it - All of the Stablemates except the G4 Driving Horse (mini Minnie Pearl) because I don't collect that mold Like it a lot - Peanutine, Axle, HD Harkness, Speos?? (If he's the matte/gloss he'll get bumped up for sure, I love the color but I haven't yet seen Anamar in person) Maybe - Wells, Scurry, Studebaker No thanks - Araba, Surrey, Nemea, Jump & Drive, Via Lattea, Delft, Tilly, Plush Ambivalent towards but will have anyway - Bravour 54, Phaeton (my mom is the crystal collector, so using a VIP slot for this was a given since there was nothing else besides the SM set that I'm totally in love with - and I am looking forward to hand picking HD Harkness!) Completely dependent on what it is - obviously, the Surprise. I grabbed one with VIP because I didn't have multiple favorites (I opted for Peanutine as well because I get the feeling he'll be the hardest to get on non-VIP). If it's something I love I wanted to be guaranteed at least 1, if it's something I'm not as thrilled about, it's good for trading. I will *probably* end up with at least one AA ticket as well, for another Surprise and trying for Speos or Wells, if I like him in additional promo material. Hoping to get an Axle off someone who only wants the mare rather than using a ticket and having to offload the mare myself, but we'll see how it works out. Any additional tickets of either AA or Online will purely reflect my panic about the Surprise possibilities in the coming months 🤣I *kind of* like Studebaker but the mold is a shelf hog, and I'd want to see more pics as well. Maybe they'll reel me in if they offer the glossy version like with the Rhenish Draft last year. Scurry is cute, and I'd buy one to (probably) keep if it ends up on my non-VIP tickets, but I also don't think I'd seek one out otherwise. Anything in the "no thanks" category I'll skip buying (LE) or trade if they end up on my tickets (SR).
