I have this theory that the musical or production techniques that composers or songwriters may feel compelled to copy in order to garner acceptance by audiences, directors, employers, etc.... those techniques most likely originated from artistic vision and ironically, then copied ad nausem. It can be difficult to believe that the character/attributes of one's work will be enough to 'make the grade.' However, when copying the approach of others' vision, one may never know..... Just a thought.
I agree? Its a cultural issue, the deterioration of the culture and the deracination of the people has ripple effects far and wide and its all intentional. If the Disney material is not inspired, especially when its being designed specifically not to be inspiring, how can the working musician/composer transcend that? Indie films? BTW Keep Mediocrity At Bay was ahead of its times.
