For me… his song “begin” this is a song about bts… about his hyungs he loves so much and how all he cared about was their happiness….. and thanking them for helping grow into who he has become…. Euphoria… this is a song for the fans… it’s part of the storyline… but army is his euphoria… by army knows how much jk loves army… sometimes a little too much to where he gives too too much of himself for us and bts bc he has such a huge heart. Now with “my time,” this is his song.. his words, his story… it’s his time bc he is growing and maturing and learning that he needs to have his own time and think about himself in the equation…. He’s always thinking about everybody else… even if he wasn’t always good at expressing it with words… this sweet , kind hearted empath is a blessing to this world and I’m so happy that he’s finally seeing… it’s his time… and there’s nothing wrong with feeling that way… and as army… that’s what we want for them… bc we love and support them always. Jungkook joined BTS at a very young age. He left his home Busan and came to Seoul when he was like only 13. I can't imagine myself staying away from my family and parents at such a young age.This song is so personal to him. It almost feels like he's writing his diary and gave it to us to read. The way he wonders how people his same age do things and how he feels disconnected with his present. He always had to work so much and having so much success at such a young age, he never really got to enjoy doing the things that people his same age do. Even though the song sounds quite sensual, the lyrics are just sad.

hands down the best jungkook solo in my opinion. not only is the melody amazing but i love how in this song he's talking about himself. he's saying that although he's blessed with everything he has now, he still feels like he missed out on many things compared to people his age since he joined bts really young and didn't experience normal teenage years since he was under the spotlight. i like how at the end of the song he switches "i can't call ya, i can't hold ya, i can't touch ya" to "i will call ya, i will hold ya, i will touch ya". it's like right now he can't do all of these things but one day he will find his time and will experience the things he missed out on.

The last part where he's humming...it's like a mother caressing a child to sleep in a lullaby. JK did it beautiful...I never heard a artist did this before....

Since JK joined BTS so young (Korean age 15, global age 13-14), I'm sure he went through so much anxiety and confusion from being in the spotlight so young....I mean, these guys were/are always being filmed, photographed, etc. Plus, he moved to the dorms....He was without his home/parents. NOW, add to this that he was an extremely shy kid. Very few of us...heck, very few people in general, could relate to his journey in that way. I must say, however, KUDOS to his hyungs and to BigHit for the excellent job they did guiding him and helping him on his path.

Both ridiculously great and hard hitting songs ( passionate execution and a very personal message vented out). Jeon Jungkook truly is an exceptionally great vocalist. How he feels his music, how he works with different styles, and how he expresses all emotions and undercurrents in the song, how he modulates his voice, how he mixes all elements so damn well, ... and his diction, excuse me sir - all of it super SMOOTH and FLAWLESS. I can´t get enough of his voice, really. He sits with it somewhere in a place of perfect placement for me - an ultimate sweet spot you may say - never too much, never too little, never overbearing, or underwhelming - Jungkook voice represents PERFECTION to me. Perfect in its imperfections, perfect in its vulnerability, perfect in its timbre, warmth, brightness, breathiness, pacing, intensity, placement and delivery. In the beginnimg of song the lyrics he said that he had to grow up faster than anyone else. he was only 13 years old when he sfarted working in the industry. he had to be mature and work hard while his friends were enjoying childhood. he is simply reflecting on his life. ever since he was 13, his life was filmed on camera for entertainment of people. he did not have a childhood where you are allowed to be a silly, make mistakes. he sacraficed his childhood for his passion to become a singer. 💜🎶🎤 love your video just as always, your genuene reactions are heartwarming

This song is so beautiful and emotional; I can see his inner pain...always suffering with time lag. I know how hard it can be. I feel like a zombie over weeks only if traveling across the Pacific a couple of times.. He scarified/lost his childhood/school life, time with family and friends, and everyday mundane life/freedom as well.
