Remember, y'all: creating the game from scratch takes so much more time than any of us could ever understand. The least we can do for the MAAR team is be patient. They don't have to make this game for us. They're doing it because they love this game as much as we do. It's important to remember that. They want to release it as quick as they can, just as much as we want them to. But quality is always the most important. Patience and kindness. That's all! :D
Everything you said is true about the patience and understanding. But, there's one small point I want to clarify. It's not 100% from scratch. Goofy got the code base of the game as it existed when it died in 2016. yes, the team converted it from Flash to Unity BUT, for the most part, a file convertor did that. There is NEW/FRESH content planned that is from scratch but all of the old pvp seasons, seasons 1 and 2 and all the old SOs and COs had at least a workable base to build off of. It is still a massive undertaking though. Some old devs are aware of the project and they are happy but they are not contributing.
@@evermoreisamasterpiece Yeah there was a definite...ground level so to speak that the team built on. There was prep work to change names and sprite colors if we ran into IP related issues but that whole shebang is a non issue now.

Mostly because of the spec ops, but also to get a chance of getting further into season 1 (I never finished that one when the game was live) as well as playing with many of the heroes that I never got to obtain
I had at least 1 star in every season 1 mission but I definitely did not 5 star every single one. Now season 2 though....I think I had a more robust star count because the gear was far better in season 2
yeah, I absolutely think that it's tedious just by getting the 5 stars in every mission in the current (public) Beta, so I don't want to imagine how longer it's gonna be once all of season 1 is up... at least the boss rush will be available and will make it easier to level up characters!
@@Elazul1 My recommendation is doing only a star count that works for you to complete the major tasks. For you it might come down to 5 starring mission 1, chapter 1. For the next person, it might be 3 starring the PO4 mission and 2 starring the Magneto shield mission. No one size fits all for that. 5 starring everything is just nutty LOL.

Love playing this. It is officially back for me! Back then I played the original from 2 weeks after launch up until the end. Just played the 5.2 all day Saturday and memories come pouring back. I never thought this would ever happen but the team did the magic! This feels like the early days before all the new toons started getting annoying so having fun with the originals plus SW & BP. They are so OP with ISOs in the first 3 chapters thanks to cheat mode resources. I did a normal grind for the first few hours just to experience the very beginning then turned on the cheats! 🎉🏆Can't wait to see 🦏 in the future! 😍

Gee, I sure hope PvP Tournaments will also be available. Like, it sure would be cool if there was a coder in your comment section somewhere, hinting that the Beta 6 will have the first set of PvP tournaments available. That would be really cool you guys
A huge piece of advice for PVAI teams: balance. Have someone who can protect, have someone who can deal consistent or burst damage, and have someone who can provide buffs/heals/shields to your team. Examples: 1: Support Agent Colossus Mockingbird 2: Tank Agent Magik Scarlet Witch 3: Damage Agent Luke Cage Iron Fist 4: Tank Agent Thor Storm 5: Support Agent Black Panther Wolverine 6: Support/Tank Agent She-Hulk Black Widow Remember to check each Hero's buffs and debuffs, as well as the special properties of their moves. Synergy is crucial to winning games consistently. If a character like Angel provides Rising Up to his whole team with his Level One, then pair him with Heroes that rely on those specific buffs like Omega Sentinel or Wonder Man!
Oh damn, aiming for Q1? That's fast, sweet! If I recall correctly Beta 6 is supposed to fix the issue with bosses not getting double turns, right? Was kinda bummed by how quickly I was able to get through some of the early bosses last time around because I didn't really get a chance to see their full abilities or strategize beyond "hit the guy with the thing until he dies".

Sir i just found out that when you do the Epic Boss Dr.Doom, after you defeated him, The Try again and Spin button will vanish. After that you'll be stucked at the roulette. No Confirm button for the rewards.
I've been having a lot of fun playing the 5.2.1 version, hyped for version 6. Although I have a problem; sometimes during a match, I select an attack from my agent and it just doesn't happen, so the game gets softlocked. I play on fullscreen so idk if that is a problem, any way to fix that?

As goofy mentioned, yes. That's not just a beta feature, it's a PERM feature. It is being done to counter the fact that you won't be buying gold for skips. You can USE gold for stuff but there is no real money changing hands here.

It is not an official game. It's a recreation of MAA from a small team of people. There are no IP issues as we fall under a DMCA ruling about dead MMOs.

i dont have any problem to wait if we just got a specific date it will be great but it make it random make me uncomfortable looking for any news every week to hope the game release and find nothing made me Disappointed
