This was going to be a three hour video, but my hard drive had a major GLITCH!
The first attempt to rebuild this 15 year old classic has being a major bust. THIS time, I will take my sweet time.
But I still ran into so MANY issues, all remedied by patience and know-how.

The only good ball bearing bushings are in 8mm size, so you are very lucky that you switched to a Lonex Gearbox shell. Normal bushings are much stronger and will suffice in any of the 4 most common sizes.

For not being "how to" videos, your content has taught me how to be an airsoft technician. I now do all my own work on my guns thanks to you. Watching you rebuild this gun helped me rebuild my 7yr old King Arms FN FAL and turn it into a monster (330 fps and 1400 RPM for the rate of fire on a 11.1v lipo). It was difficult to pull off as the gun is a pain in the ass to disassemble but watching you achieve the goal of making that MP5 work again kept me going till the end ^_^

Thanks. I was to get Part Three and Part Four onto RU-vid, but my computer..... DIED! And it is new too. My complex editing... to much for desktops..... Need more money and time to get a much more powerful one... Continuation of this video is coming soon. HOPEFULLY.

Hi! that is really cool! Props to you many people say that you cant really touch a Tm or else it would breakdown or something like that... I have a Tm Mp5 as well but I want more power from it what internal upgrades should I do, I would probably make a pro do it for me tho.

First thing, is inner barrel change. Then spring. But do NOT get anything more than a 120% because it will break your gearbox... Then you need a stronger gearbox... I got me a LONEX, but I had to do mods to the clam-shell upper receiver to make that gearbox fit.....

I no longer fix anyone's guns. The poor sorry sap who sent me his GLOCK pistols... maybe six years or so ago...? I still have them only one functions.....

OMG you have no idea how hard it was to find someone with the EXACT mp5 model from TM to help me troubleshoot my gun. I had the same issue you had with your part 1 with your mp5. For whatever reason my mp5 will not feed. It fed maybe 2 bbs then it will jam. Now it just doesn't feed whatsoever. Any fix to this?

Somehow seems much alike my Tokyo marui g3sg1 i rebuild the entire gearbox and it also misfired and dindt feed properly and even lost all the fps, after abit of digging i found out it was my nozzle that was indiffrent to the hop up chamber, after recutting and refitting it works like a pearl :)

Part Three is still in the works. I need a new computer..... And sorry, I actually forgot... I may had used silicone oil to expand the rubber bucking.

Hey kameleon. I just wanted to tell you that your videos have had a serious impact on my life. For the last few years I've had insomnia. When I watch your videos, the quiet metal sounds and tinkering helps me fall asleep. I watch your videos for about an hour a night. Plus I airsoft as well, so it's an added bonus to learn how to do tech work. Wether it be on gas blow backs or aegs, please, never stop making videos, because they're amazing. You're awesome my dude! Keep it up.

+austin dean Because I render it in HD, it literally destroys hard drives, and my present job keeps my time away from making more videos. So it is a mater of time. But I will tell you, I am not done as of yet..... Worries creates insomnia. So you have to manage what worries you, and melatonin helps too.... I had bouts of insomnia when I had SERIOUS financial problems!

And two are in production, and two more are on the way..... Try to refrain from using the computer at night at least one-and-a-half hour before you go to bed. I heard that the "blue light" from your monitor/mobile device screen tricks your brain that it is still daylight. It takes two hours for your brain to adjust back to the evening setting.

I'm looking for a tan and black design for my gun and was wondering how possible it is to buy a totally different receiver and slap that on? shop.ehobbyasia.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/g/p/gp-928s_1_mark.jpg Some say they might not fit the gearbox and some say it would. If you know any tan receivers that would work flawlessly please let me know.

Sorry to say, that KWA lower and upper receivers are proprietary, which means only KWA gearbox fit inside of a lower and upper receiver. The gearbox is a real tight fit. And it is made to be a tight fit because it adds strength to the gearbox itself. The only option is to paint it tan yourself. I forgot which type of paint sticks well to the frame. I t might be epoxy paint.

+DevilDog Airsoft Yup! ALL my AEGs have the same motor, minus the Magpul PDR, which has the shorter motor shaft. This motor in MY opinion, is the finest motor you can buy for its cost. Only the motor pinion gear SUPER SUCK! They break loose! On ALL my AEGs!
