Loved all your picks. As someone in her 70's my favorite was slices of dried abalone, sweet and sour apricots and wet li hing mui and of course Kings Hawaiian bread toasted with butter and Saloon pilot crackers toasted with butter and dipped in hot chocolate
Fresh sweet bread from this little shop in waimamolo reminds me of my childhood!! IDK why but it is too sweet for me now in adulthood. Great video, mahalo
Craziest coincidence happened lately. In my history class we watched the movie "Pearl Harbor" and them being in Hawaii, reminded me of your videos, and I thought "man I loved his videos I wonder if he has done anything new." Then saw that you hadn't posted in like 7 months and got sad, then the very next day i get a notification that Shane-O posted a new video, and now ur pumping out videos, stay on dat grind dog! I love the videos.
First off, love the content. I intentionally sought out these snacks during our visit because of your recommendations. With that said, I have to say with all due respect the Frito Lay brand tastes waaaay better than the Honolulu Chip Company. The batch we got atleast was greasy as all get out and seemed to override the flavor. I loved supporting local, don't get me wrong, but man there was a difference! Keep the content rolling! Maybe a best place for coffee perhaps? *Cough* Green World *Cough*
