Arai Sun I only throw away my lip sticks and foundation when expired because it would either ruin my skin or not be as pigmented or smells weird which isn’t that safe.
Right? I tend to only get cruelty free and vegan stuff too. Some of the make up I have isn't entirely vegan, but definitely cruelty free. I hate animal testing with a passion.

My three favorite lipsticks are the nyx liquid suede in sandstorm, the kat von d everlasting liquid lipstick in lolita and the revlon lipstick in black cherry. Love your videos, you rock the nude lipstick and made em wha to get one for myself.
When I took my House test on Pottermore, I got a choice just like Harry. But my choice was Gryffindor or Ravenclaw (decided to go with Gryffindor) . So if you wanna have two house, you do it! And the lipsticks are cool! :P
Safiya Nygaard if you could do a full makeup brand, that would be awesome. good quality, yet affordable, please! Like in between drug store and MAC prices. Something about your coloring makes brown lipsticks look incredible on you. If I tried wearing brown or greigy colors, I'd look like I had died and rigormortis had just begun.
Ok y'all - those of you who are being turned on to Colorpop from this video: browns are great, the pinks tend to look a bit purple on certain lighter skin types, the matte ones are more drying than the satins but the satins do transfer, they last long but not if you're eating, and the shades are darker in person than they look on the website. 👍🏼
AGREED! im here for all the browns and purples! and the ultra satin lip is where its at - but if u couldnt tell from le vid, i don't mind having to do some lipstick reconstruction after eating!

I just ordered Femme, Point Zero, and Mess Around. I always see you wearing the brownish lipsticks and I've been dying to know what ones you use as I've been trying to find similar ones because those are the colors I usually look for. Supporting the cruelty- free brand of one big company (thus being part of making it the one that gives them the most money) sends the message that maybe they should make all their brands cruelty- free..

If you want a really pretty brown liquid lipstick, I suggest the NYX Liquid Suede in Sandstorm. It is long lasting, it doesn't flake or crumble, even after drinking and eating. I'm pale and it looks awesome on me so if you're pale, you should definitely check it out. I think that it would also look awesome on darker skin tones too. Lysm Safiya

This list is so outdated... kylie cosmetics is cruelty free, but not all her shades are vegan; urban decay, nyx & too faced all have non-cruelty free "mother" companies, soo they are kinda in the grey area, because they don't test on animals BUT they companies that own them do. Just wanted to clear that up for people that care about cf brands :)

My absolute fave lipstick color is Mac's color Dew. I'm paler and also a boy, but it's the perfect light lavender blue, and it brings out my eyes and also it's just everything I want
Oh my, SAFIYA, I went to urban decay and they did my make-up. I told them I wanted a look inspired by,.. Yes, YOU. I showed them your instagram, and they scrolled through it and used the Matte 1993 lipstick which I bought and was so happy with. Now I see this,... And I am just sooo happy that they actually managed to sell me the same lipstick. You are my style-icon!
fun fact "femme" is French for 'woman' and the French pronounce it "fam". Not sure if the lipstick was named after that French word, but just wanted to share this little fact :)
Au Québec, nous disons comme ,"fahm." - In Quebec we say it like "fahm." :) Kind of half way between the english pronunciation and "fam." There isn't really an hard "a" the same way in french.
