I love her in concept and her design but the base doll didn’t work for me for whatever reason

I saw one in TK Maxx (in Europe it's with a K) for 40€ last week. Don't know if they have an online store in your country but it's worth a try

@@RobinPochita Lol. There's strong implications for a RH "soft reboot" next year. We know thanks to 2024 product listings that next year the dolls will include pets, body glitter for "us" to use, & a slime playset is even coming out. Basically shifting focus to appeal more to children (which is understandable) but it's a little worrisome. It would also seem that Poppy has been replaced by Amaya. Hopefully everything turns out for the best.👍😅

Oh no, seriously?! I ordered my first two and got pretty lucky. I’ve been having issues with their eye placement but I generally just fix that myself. I’m surprised to hear their customer service isn’t helping :( they used to be pretty good a few years ago.

@xCanadensis Yeah, they replaced my jade with the bad eye, but the other two, they would only offer a refund, and I was able to keep the dolls, which is nice, I guess. I fixed them best. I could im not a bad repainter at this stage. I did get new ones at Target. They said it was cause they are mass produced but you'd think some level of quality control be in place so one person wouldn't get 3 defective dolls out of the 5 I ordered from the mga site....I'm really disappointed in the fashion runway line I was super excited to get an amaya since I started collecting after she was no longer available in stores or cheap. I mean, im big into Rainbow High. I have almost all of them said the few in the first series, Ruby, Jade, and the 2 amayas, are all I'm missing. So it's sad to see the decline in this line when it made it sound so good. I'm hoping the shadow high series 3 will redeem them and I think it's honestly best to wait to get them in store or Amazon has been pretty good at least they replace the doll when you have a defect. I'm not really picky, but these were bad defects like the poppy had orange paint all over her face, and it was very visible in the box. The amaya also was missing on one eye her side eyemakeup, so eyelashes and the cat eye flare. Again, I was able to fix it, but that's not the point I shouldn't have to do that much work to make the doll look at least close to what they advertise. Parents who buy it for a kid won't know how to fix some of these issues and it's just is disappointing they used the mass production excuse while well lots of things are mass produced why you have quality control standards. I did order the 2 missing dolls I didn't get on mga from Amazon, and it was the skylar and sunny, which they both were great. The only ones I had issues with on Amazon were the color me dolls mine had the hair falling out, which they promptly replaced for me, and I also got to keep the doll, which i just rerooted. So yeah, they seem to have lots of issues as of late again. I hope the new shadow high series will redeem them.
