when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. that is why i bring you my all time favorite books / the top 10 romance books to read this year that quickly turned into a very chatty and rant-y video about some of the most popular book releases. booktube and booktok have buzzed about some of these… and i LOVED them! i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with more books to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2024!

I'm a romance newbie (Ace-spectrum, so smut makes me run away), but I've fallen in love with Ashley Poston's book this year! I liked the Seven Year Slip, but I think my favorite of hers so far is definitely The Dead Romantics. Also, "Delilah Green Doesn't Care" is beautiful and wonderful, and had me kicking my feet. And I've got My Roommate is a Vampire on my September TBR! One of my favorite romances I've read so far this year has been "Honey & Spice" by Bolu Babalola. It's a college romance, so it's not super spicy, and it was just SO fun watching the two mains be total simps for each other and yet be completely blind to it. It actually started my romance journey.

Hey! I read the Heartless now. My all time favourites are: Bowen-Kennedy - Him, Crownover - Rule, Ward-Keeland Stuck-Up Suit, Kleypas - Cold-Hearted Rake, SEP - What I Did for Love, Tracey Garvis Graves - On the Island. I read all of them multiple times.

Romance is one of my least favorite genres, but I’ve been wanting to dip my toes in and find stories that could be my cup of tea. I loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and want to find another book similar to that feel. (Feels > Smut, imo). Seven Days in June sounds right up my alley! Ty Mel! And if anyone else has any recs, please add!

such a great list!!! i absolutely loved kiss the sky! connor and rose would have to be my second favorite couple aside from the couple in krista & becca ritchie's standalone but interconnected duet with the calloway universe called bad reputation! definitely recommend it!

i like magnolia parks even though it's toxic, but a lot of it is because it's supposed to be that way. jessa doesn't shy away from making it out to be and suspected it to be toxic and grorwing character development from there. and i think that's what sets it apart from other books that are advertised otherwise and is super toxic.

I want to read the story which showcases the following topics such as, The female lead is insecure and has low self-esteem. She and the main lead love each other. The second lead also loves her unconditionally, but his love is never noticed by her. There should be romance, suspense, and mystery. Any suggestions?

I've not really dipped into romance before (mostly because I'm ace and spice kinda bothers me), but these sound so good ❤ I'm curious about the Ali Hazelwood book (Love Theoretically) though- I have absolutely no knowledge of the STEM stuff and that seems like a big part of it, can you follow it okay without that know how?
