My Top 10 all time favorite Super Flyweights in history! This division had a huge resurgence in recent years with the likes of Chocolatito, Estrada, Rungvisai and Cuadras having many epic battles between them. Please note that these aren't where I rank the fighters historically, just how much I personally like to watch them. If a fighter isn't included here it doesn't mean that I don't like them, they're just not a favorite of mine in this weight class. The fighters that just barely missed out here were Gerry Penalosa, Katsuya Onizuka and Gustavo Ballas. Hope you all enjoy! Who are your all time favorite Super Flyweights? www.patreon.com/haNZAgod
Sor Rungvisai folding Roman Gonzales like a lawn chair is one of the most brutal displays of power I've ever seen. Unthinkable at the time! Naoya Inoue demolition job of Narvaez was also a omen of things to come....now Narvaez was old and far from a dangerous puncher....however he was proven, defensively sound and known as a sturdy guy....Inoue basically hurt him with every punch he landed. Very impressive stuff, IMO! Similar to Wlad Klitschko vs faded Ray Mercer; a known iron-chinned warrior on "Sunset Boulevard" being hurt by jabs? Quite shocking!
I really feel like that would have been 50/50, the boxing skill and mastery of Roman versus Khaosai’s ferocious pressure, bottomless gas tank and dynamite punching power.
Hard to argue with Galaxy being #1 and you could make a legit argument for him being THE hardest punching little guy of all time. I absolutely loved Sung Kil Moon though and, despite the fact that he probably he has not even began his physical prime yet, with wins over SSR, Cuadras and Estrada at the weight, you cannot deny Bam's place on this list. It is fully deserved.
Just shows how blessed we are to have witnessed the super fly at the end of the 2010s - early 2020s. And its still kickin with 3 good champions. The 80s fighters also were insane. Inoue and Galaxy both danced alone during that period, without fighting all of the others top dogs sadly. At this weight, I also love Too Sharp Johnson, Tokuyama, Quiroga and Laciar. I am happy you gave Moon his long deserved credit :)
Imagine Galaxy v Monster, or either one against Watanabe. Galaxy right pick for number 1, used to watch him on ITV''s Fight Night alot on Tuesday nights, a destruction machine.
Awesome list! I can’t really argue with anything on there, lol. Galaxy was such a force at that time. Had he been around a little later and fought more international he would have been more popular than Inoue. Thank you.
If I had a nickel for every time Hanzagod used the Pride FC opening theme, I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that not only did it happen twice, but both times on videos featuring Khaosai Galaxy.
Great video as always. I think we are due for a Khaosai Galaxy routes to the body video. His nickname literally translates to "the left hand that drills intestines"
