What cozy games have YOU played the most of?

I don't remember the exact amount, but I have 2,500ish hours into the sims 4. This has been accummulating since around 2017, and for a long time it was the only game I owned because i thought it was the only one I would ever be interested in playing or have the patience to play. The cozy community finally convinced me to expand my horizons, and I've discovered a love for cozy puzzle games and city builders, like Dorfromantik and Fabledom. My favorite game I played last year was Coffee Talk 2 😊

My most played games on Steam are Stardew Valley (1,085 hours), Coral Island (278 hours), Terraria (154 hours), and Fae Farm (109 hours). I was suprised I had that many hours in Fae Farm. I was not a huge fan when i first played it in September but I got sucked in around Decemebr and was determined to get all the achievements

My most played is stardew valley. I like challenging myself to have a greenhouse in early fall, but I've also played around with mods, different farm types, etc. I think Wylde Flowers is one you might grow to appreciate more playing on your own, and I definitely recommend it.

I love seeing what games people put their time into and I love this video! My top 5 (or 6 rather) most played games are ACNH (665h), Cookie clicker (200h), Stardew valley (165h), Plate up (145h), Persona 5 royal and planet zoo (130h)! But recently I’m really enjoying Dave the diver (45h already) and since yesterday - Lil guardsman!

Cult of the lamb isss the most addictive fantastic right up my alley game I've ever played. I'm not a very strict cozy gamer, I like some challenge and combat and a lot of the cozy games out there are a little boring for me, but it's a shame because I also love a lot of cozy game staples like Stardew valley! Cult of the lamb is just truly the perfect blend of everything I love in a game ❤️ I wish there were more games like it!

I still play ACNH every day! Ooblets, Fae Farm, and Winds of Anthos continue to get lots of play, too! (still trying to get one Gleamy (the new content!), tons of hybrid flowers/trees in FaeFarm (this week's update!!! flower seeds!!!), and still have a lot of the Anthos story enjoy...and all the crops!). Off the top of my head, ACNH is my top game...followed by Pokemon games, I am sure!

ACNH is my most played too, around 1100 hours across the two accounts I’ve played on 🙈 I think everyone can understand lol. Don’t really play anymore, but what a time it was.

You're not alone in Stardew Valley, I just can't get into it for exactly that reason. I've been addicted to Coral Island lately, so I do love the elements of SV, but it was too hazy and overwhelming for me as well.

I'm impressed by some of the hours logged into these games. Although I have to take into consideration my cozy gaming journey only started Dec 2022 (my return to gaming as well). Somehow I have already logged in 235 hours in ACNH and 150 into Stardew Valley.

Your content has helped me realize my favorite games. Cozy! Lol. But I am just now really getting into various games. I have over 350 hours in animal crossing . I used it to stay connected to my family during in 2020. I have started sun haven I am really enjoying it. I have about 20 hrs on it (I started playing last week. I have 25 hours in farfarm and 21 hours in my time at portia

Fae Farm was the first game I played on my switch and I LOVED it so much. It was really well designed and easy for a beginner to play. My problem though was that I hyperfocused on it so much that I got through all the storyline quests really quickly, and after that I just focused on unlocking the flower colours so I could get new colour palettes and wings. I haven't really felt interested in the "job quests" because I can make the prizes so easily. The DLC was super exciting at first, but it hasn't really added much to the game to keep the dopamine rewards coming. They just did an update that improved the time element - not perfect, but at least now if you are in build mode time is paused. They also made it WAY easier to breed flowers by making it possible to turn them into seeds (although not in the same way as vegetables). They say they're working on making NPC interaction and romance better in the next DLC. I'm sad because I've done SO much, but I've done it all too quickly, and there are really no advantages to unlocking anything now. Not even for the completionist in me. I really hope they keep adding to this game as it is really really lovely and beautiful. But take your time playing through the story, otherwise you'll be sad like me and nothing else will fill the void 😂

Stardew Valley for me is my number 1 right now, i love Coral Island but only played a couple of hours because i’m still waiting for the 1.1 update..

Coral island is probably my favorite cozy game right now. It's so addicting the graphics are amazing and the characters are so interesting and lovely! I also wanna say I'm so sorry you had a sort of negative experience with Stardew! It's such a great game! There's no specific way to play! Play however you want!! Also. I'm not even surprised animal crossing is at the top 🤣🤣 I have... many many many hours in this game I don't wanna say I'm so embarrassed lmao. This series is so much fun. I started it the day it came out I couldn't even wait to get the physical version. Covid really did a number on me lol this game helped so many people I feel like..🤭 this game is so fun... and stressful trying to figure out how to plan your island haha.

What day is it? 🤣 I ask this all the time! I actually thought today was Thursday. I’m sad it’s not. I think my top 3 this year were probably Ooblets, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Stardew Valley. I like you, stumbled upon Stardew late. Like March of 2023 late. But I couldn’t put it down. I just got Harvest Moon Winds of Anthos last week and already have 50 hours in. I’m loving it. It’s super cozy!

Animal Crossing is my first game i bought on switch when i got it for Christmas 2 years ago

This is my top 5 most played since the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons. I cannot include games before (or hours I previously played of Sims 3 and Planet Zoo, which is probably hundreds each) because I don’t have records. There are other games that should be mentioned from as far back as original Sims, Tycoon games, and Nancy Drew, but also no record. 1. 700+ Dreamlight Valley 2. 500+ Animal Crossing 3. 415+ Sims 4 4. 85+ Stardew Valley 5. 68+ Coral Island (this is my current obsession, when not playing DLV, so hours are rising fast and will probably pass Stardew quickly)

My #1 is also animal crossing……. At 1,360 hours. #2 is Zelda BOTW at 135 hours and #3 is Zelda TOTK at 115 hours. Just started playing Palia today tho, super cute so far!

ACNH by far for me, played every day for 2+ years. Stardew and Coral Island are 2nd and 3rd.

My most played game is Dorfromatik, followed by Pokémon café remix, then Coral Island❤ Oh Sims4 I think is the game I've played the most ever, but probably not for over a year now 💔 it just got too much with all the bugs, glitches, rubbish new stuff and cash grabby nonsense. I'm a little bitter 😅

Checked and it finally happened…Pokémon Scarlet and Violet finally surpassed Sword and Shield as my 2nd most played game with a total of 265 hours. Scarlet and Violet have their flaw but they’re so fun. The DLCs definitely increased the time tenfold. Number one is still Animal Crossing with too many hours. Haven’t played it because I feel I’ve gotten everything I wanted out of it. It’s unfortunate but I don’t regret any of my time with it

I would say I have a top 3, but number 3 is a three way tie! I do suspect one of them will edge out soon because it's a 2024 release! But... 3. What the Golf, Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe and Princess Peach Showtime! All coming in at around 10 hours! Princess Peach Showtime doesn't surprise me much because it's recent. But the other two? The timing of those is so different and I even played a little What the Golf? recently alongside the Stanley Parable... And I have had What the Golf? for a couple years now! I love What the Golf? for not being your typical golf game. Which is good for me because I stink at golf games normally! It's basically for people who don't like golf.... Or I would even argue wouldn't mind something much sillier! In one hole, you might be rolling a house to the flagpole. In another you will see the golfer, take a swing... And the golfer goes flying instead! I refuse to say anymore than that! This is a must play! Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe has become one of my recent happy places. Even when the Narrator gets mad at me because of my actions, it's just a blast and just so funny! Also thanks to the RU-vidr MaxOfFewTrades who played the game recently, I react by moving the camera like I am nodding or shaking my head. It's on reflex now! Princess Peach Showtime was cozy to me because of it being a stage and all. The game is just so charming and fun! I had a roller coaster of happiness, surprise and in three levels, I cried tears of joy (Mermaid Peach has a beautiful voice)! There isn't a stage or costume I don't like. The music is also just so good! 2. Cult of the Lamb with 95 hours This number I suspect will climb because I have the urge to go through another run soon! I didn't play it until 2023 because I didn't know it until then. But I fell in love with it so quickly! The music at the base is incredibly calming and thanks to accessibility, I don't have to worry about time moving during a crusade! Plus, the OST is amazing. I can't think of a single song I don't like, which isn't something that happens all the time! Speaking of, here is an interesting little tip for the latest update! Some might say that before you can get to the Sins of the Flesh DLC, you have to beat Kallamar. This is true if you beat Leshy and Heket first... But you can actually fight the bishops out of order if you want! As long as you have the right amount of followers, you can open the door. This is also a good idea if someone in the cult wants you to make Splendid Vegetable Feasts. Since opening the door and going in once gives you the ability to buy the seeds for those areas. Apologies if you knew that already! 1. Animal Crossing New Horizons with... Yeah over 2500 hours I can't play this game anymore because I burnt myself out badly and I am not one to get tired of games fast. But I don't regret this because... Many of these hours was playing with a friend of mine. We would visit each other's islands and we both did some really things! Since I didn't like being hit in the head with a net, she respected me and... Would swing nets at other stuff! Her favorites was her own timing minigame on my cherry speakers and hitting the Moai statue in such a way that it looks like all she is hitting is air. Another thing we did I call Chase and Seek! For some reason, I would run after her to be funny and usually this leads to her hiding and then me having to find her. I tend to find her quick though as usually I wasn't far behind. If I hid though, she couldn't find me for a long time! But my favorite thing to do was spoil her. I gifted her things like the crowns. She even named the second bridge in my honor because I paid over 90% of it! But I think our favorite moments were the random things that would just happen during our sessions. Me mistaking the Bamboo Shelf for a hamster wheel despite me knowing that's not the case (she laughed so hard at my sleepy self), neither of us unable to unsee the sea anemone as a sea strawberry, random notes we sent and a bit more! They are good memories. So even though I may never play the game, it still has a place in my heart.

I have 1500 hours in Animal Crossing and despite loving it sooo much, I am completely burnt out with it and don't really want to decorate in other games either now lol 😂

I'm so glad I am not the only one who can't progress in Stardew. Don't think I've ever made it past Y1. Can't deal with the mining and forced combat. 😭 Even using mods to make it look like a magical fairy land couldn't keep me playing. 😂🧚 Can't post game hours at the moment, as I'm currently working. Maybe later if I remember. (But I DO have over 100 in Coral Island!)

The characters are so empty and lifeless in new horizons. Still think new leaf is the best ever animal crossing game. Especially after I went back to play it when I was done with New Horizons

I don't know if all of these technically count as cozy games, but my most played of 2023 is definitely Terraria (yes it has bosses, but I mostly just make safe little minecart passageways for everyone else to more easily fight the bosses, so I basically play it as a cozy game ;;>..

I thought I'd have way more hours in ACNH, at least as much as you but I only have 510hrs (only one island) and it's my most played game on switch or PC (just built a pc this year though), My time at portia and Disney Dreamlight valley are just behind at 130 hours and both of them I'm not very far into. Not a cosy game but I've played Baldurs Gate like 3 or 4 times so far and somehow already have 26 hours 😂

My most played cozy game depends.... on what year you wanna go off of and if the hours are unknown lol xD. If you go by current games I have almost 800 hours in Stardew Valley. However, I'm willing to bet that if you go off of my play time as a teen... Rollercoaster Tycoon is easily the one I've spent the most time in in my life.

For me the cozy game I played the most is Rune Factory 5 with 220 hours so far.

For me it's neck and neck between My Time at Portia (95 hours) and My Time at Sandrock (90 hours), not counting the 400+ hours in Animal Crossing...

3k for Animal Crossing, but that stopped in 2021. No I haven't touched it since. I feel like Sunhaven runs you in circles, but it's fun. (400h) Fae Farm even after the updates still feels unfinished, and bugged for me (300h) and Stardew? I have 1,000h on only my steam copy, plust 600h on two different switches. I want to wait for Coral Island to update the game more before I play. I feel like My Time at Sandrock, while not a "cozy" game had the best romance aspect, and only BG3 beat it out for me romance wise. Which lol I have 400h on both of those I think. And I tell myself I'm "just a casual gamer"

I have nearly 5000 hours across sims 3 and sims 4 lol, and nearly 600 hours on Acnh as well ;-; I totally get the elitism of the Stardew community as well, I have 300 ish hours, and I started by watching a streamer play it for the first time whilst I played. so there was no, this is the best way to do that ect ect.

In Paleo Pines you are a child you are not supposed to romance anyone. It only makes sense kids make friends instead of focusing on dating. It doesn't need romance, if you are playing as a literal child you have no need for romance in your game. It makes more sense dating aspects in a game if you are a teenager and turn into your adulthood. It isn't needed for everything to have romance. A game with child characters does not need it. Romance in games when your character is more appropriate ages are out there but Paleo has no need for it. It is based on taking care of and raising dinosaurs to help you on your farm and making friends. It is the concept at that of a kids game that works. It is a kid's game not meant to be towards adult audiences but can still be enjoyed by them . It is discomforting that in a game where you are a child that people are wanting a romance option when it shouldn't be the case. Payton love ya channel but I gotta admit the hot comment on your first video of it for your child character concerned me a bit. These are my thoughts and concern I have and didn't think it was an appropriate comment for a child character.
