Spider59er HECK YEA. I've BEEN saying this, I think they threw out the baby with the bathwater when it came to 06. It had really cool concepts for gameplay with the different characters. If not for the stupid glitches & incoherent story, it would've been great.
1:43 White World Mod is what Sonic Generations should have been. Tails himself said in the game's cutscene: "When the sonics *accelerate through time, they fix space, returning COLOR and life* sooooo this is actually what should be happening in Generations
Litten Fire maybe try pretending the colors being filled in, in this case like tails and/or his classic counterpart said “when the Sonics *excel through time, they’d fix space, returning COLOR and life”* I must be really full and happy of myself for saying that. This was EXTREMELY long typing in.
I used to love watching mod videos when I was younger, and I think you might've just brought that spark back. This was a blast to watch. I loved what you had to say about the mods, and how you connected to them personally. I see a lack of that in a lot of today's videos, and I'm glad to see someone bringing that back. I also cracked a smile at the live action skit, that was hilarious. Just great work man. I'm glad this video is blowing up for you. You deserve it =)
Whilst you said the 06 mod works well with Generations physics, I personally saw it as a great example of how despite the physics of the original game were laughable, the level design was still built around it. In other words, if you boost basically at all in the mod, expect to fly off the stage 9/10 times. I'm interested to see how the mod's 06 physics work out, though. Also I guess the mod still ends at Radical Train :/
idk why but this part 3:26 scared me for a sec. prob cuz that first note has a similar vibe and instruments to the infamous sonic cd secret majin screen which still creeps me tf out to this day P.S. i've never gotten far in sonic unleashed so i didn't know that was the holoskan night hub theme
These are really cool! I never knew mods like these existed for Generations. When I think of Sonic Generations mod, I think of that pizza hut mod where it's just VO of Roger Craig Smith saying "Stuffed crust pizza... toppings and cheese." So these exceeded my expectations. I like the Aquarium Park mod. I love Sonic Colors and that's one of my favorite levels and that music really adds to it. It's so good! This was cool. I'm gonna have to sub.

What an interesting coincidence! You said Sonic Generations was released 6 years ago when you made this video. Then 6 years after this video they announced a remaster of Sonic Generations known as; Sonic x Shadow Generations.
That cell-shaded mod makes the game look infinitely better, I can only imagine how it would look if the game was built from the ground up using that style. I'm personally not a fan of realistic textures in Sonic games.
I got the Pc version of this game JUST to play the STH2006 Project mod. C'mon, a GOOD version of sonic 2006? How could one pass that up?! Say what you want about Sonic 2006, it's a bad game for sure, but it had some of the best level design ever! And now I can play those levels without a glitch every other step!
I like having an 06 recreation mod more then an Unleashed one for the simple reason that Unleashed was already a good game. 06 on the other hand can actually be turned into a good game by using Generations gameplay, which makes it have more of a reason to exist honestly.

Hm, I use OBS and I don't have that issue. Try looking into your audio codecs. Worst case scenario use Shadowplay if you have an Nvidia card (it's what I use anyway).
I also used to have the PS3 version too (still have it) and I saw the mod videos and I also got jealous when I couldn’t play them until a got a Gaming PC for Christmas

I remember watching this video all the time and wanting to play this mods on my 360 because that was all I had, though I knew I couldn't play them but playing them now I realise the true fun in them.
