You forgot about vector manipulations main weakness/limitation: the user. Unless you're a galaxy brain like accelerator, it's very weak because every vector needs to be calculated in real time simultaneously for it to work. Hell, even setting up the reflection barrier may prove impossible with all the variables that need to be considered and constantly adapted to changing conditions and environments. Meanwhile, things like avalon or makimas' contract can keep anyone alive without having to do anything. So, from a raw ability standpoint, ignoring the user, I'd rate vector manipulation very low because all the crazy feats it has are only possible due to accelerator being the user.

If it had nothing to do with calculations, Accelerator wouldn't have needed the Misaka Network after his brain injury to use it. His form of vector manipulation is directly linked to calculations in every aspect.

The world.and gods examples are secrets. yourself. and objects and only those of similar or higher level can attempt to find what you have concealed. An epic type of defensive ability that can be both passive and active at will that would be amazing to develop is if a person or of a seperate kind of created beings had a natural inherited immunity to magic systems and a immunity to cosmology manipulation. Example is if the Scarlet King from the SCP Mythos had a absolute immunity power against cosmic magic systems and cosmology manipulators trying to affect him with their hax or the raw personal power of their strengths giving him a defense that is part of protects him in countless battles in many series of conflicts where receiving injuries and wounds that would be considered fatally lethal.

I get what you mean about avalon being taken since its clearly used as a catalyst to summon Artoria in the saber class but it can be implanted inside the user until they die or are unconscious, since the only time we ever see it being taken is when Kiritsugu takes avalon out of Irisviel. Should be a bit higher imo and with how op its defense is I'd honestly put it top 3 on this list
@Keith_Norman and it cant be taken out by conventional means, its done slowly via magecraft and like I said it has to be whilst theyre unconcious which wont happen since theyll always be getting healed from avalon. youd have to be pretty knowledgeable as a magus and specifically one about holy relics to extract it, the only reason Kiritsugu knew how to was because of the Einzbern's (elitist very very knowledgeable mage bloodline)

About skills that create infinite space between owner and the attack (Gojo, JoJo's Weathe Report & GGGH). They all have one weakness: they do not affect light, otherwise their apearence would have been distorted to their enemies, they would have apeared as walking black holes (+ plus it would have made the owner of that ability blind) -> they can be hit with a laser weapon.
I'm surprised Yogiri Takatou isn't on the list, his ability is basically Calamity but controllable and infinitely more powerful. Also I don't see how Accelerator is above the number 3. I'm not too familiar with JJBA, but for sure All fiction is a better defence. Both only weakness is ability nullification, but All Fiction can bring the user back from the dead, vector also only protect from force attack the user is still vulnerable to toxins, asphyxia, or really anything without a vector (so All Fiction for example), finally Vector only really protect the user and those really close to them, whereas All fiction can be used fully heal or resurrect anyone else. The only advantage Vector really has is that it blocks stuff before they affect the user whereas All Fiction has the user tank the attack first, but that's a small drawback compared to all the advantages it has.

A suggestion would be Midnights reflector magic from fairy tail, it's not the strongest defensive ability but it allows him to effortlessly reflect and contort anything that isn't a living thing allowing him to not only redirect enemy attacks but augment them to make them even more dangerous. Not only this but it has a ton of other versatility as well like contorting light to make illusions.
I really hope it's not makima because if it wasn't real life it would be a great defensive ability but against other verses she's dead plus alucard is just hers but better

In Undead Unluck the nature of what each person can negate can evolve with their understanding and acceptance of either themselves or the world and their relationship to the concept of what they are negating. Andy had a change in perspective on the nature of death so what he could negate evolved.

I recommend looking into the castle guard ability from That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime. It resists space manipulation, time manipulation, existence erasure, void manipulation, manipulation of the fundamental physical forces, fucking everything, but is dependent on the loyalty others have towards the user and also cannot be used to attack and defend simultaneously.
