Great picks! I know everyone raves about SG metallics (and they're right!) but I really adore their mattes. They're so soft and blendable without too much kickup or fallout. Also they're not drying or texture enhancing and they don't just sit on the skin. The shade range has such beautiful and unique undertones - I especially love the greens, yellows, and greys. I am definitely buying Red Chameleon after seeing this vid. I wasn't that impressed with the swatches I had seen but when you blended it out I was sold!

Love these picks. Definitely added a few to my wishlist. All I have from SG is the Summer Days palette and I’m eager to try more.

I just bought Toadstool from Clionadh which looks really similar to Red Chameleon. I know the red-green shift is basic as far as duochromes are concerned, but it's just so pretty and I love being able to manipulate it to look more orange or green depending on what my crease shade is. Also Tiara is stunning! I too am a sucker for a taupey shimmer.

I have so many faves, pretty much all of them. If I had to pick juuuust a few Id say... Mythical, Totally Worth it, Happy Accident, Light my world, Recruit, Cadet, Blondie, Hot stuff, Green Mist, Shine Bright, Below Zero, Bronzed to Perfection, Rushed (all pressed pigments) and Pismo, Eastern Rise, Adore Me, Bravo, Peanut Butter, Regal, Countess (mattes). There are so many ! I did have a few duds (mattes where I couldnt get any color, so hard pressed and Siren shadow wasnt as intense as I saw in swatches) but other then that all's well.

I like that SG shadows are super user friendly especially for someone like me who rarely uses shadow brushes. My first indie shadows, period. I always come back to replace my favorite colors and see what is new or returning for a short period of time.

Red chameleon kinda reminds me of Scarab from the Tiny Marvels palette! They are similar with a different undertone? The Greatest Gift may not be a multi chrome but it’s certainly a duo chrome❣️ Even though I don’t own the Tiny Marvels palette (even before Mel’s passing ~ it was difficult to catch the restock) that shade Scarab ~ I want it so much! I have already fallen in love with all of the shimmer shades in the Enduring Love palette. If you like neutral shadows, this is a neutral lover’s dream! Speaking of the great, late Mel~ she is the one who piqued my curiosity & claimed SG was a better formula than Pat M! 🙄 I had to purchase a palette from Mother Pat ~ just to compare. The Celestial Divinity palette was the best bang for your buck that I could justify. Of course, I have to agree with Mel. Don’t know why I had to learn the hard way? 😉❤️🌹
