Frontier didn't get the love it deserved Especially in the west I've always wanted to play this wonderful game, I had the dream to slay the ultimate white fatalis, and all the other "ridiculous" monsters of this series Quess I never will, same thing for online I pressed the biggest f button in the entire multiverse when I learnt the end of Frontier and Online
Going tbh zeniths and some of the elders are the zeniths I have a problem with in frontier (mostly zeniths) but most of the other monsters were at worst just ugly for me
Funny how people complain about frontier monsters and say they are "anime" and have over the top attack patterns even though we have stuff like Zinogre,Brachydios, and the bloody Rajang which is a 2nd gen monster that goes super saiyan and has crazy beam attacks.
Rajang is a weird example and zinogre and brwchydios are arguably the worst examples for monsters insane monsters with there lore and ecology and u can see it in the fight
So you want a monster who's whole thing is that he is a hybrid between a carpenter shark and a wyvern and that he is a tri-phibian aka a monster who is capable of moving on land, air and water, and changing him into a type of monster that is okay at best( beotudos) and horrible at worst( plesioth)?
I think frontier got to much hate as I think that while sure they have far more eh looking monsters but they have tons of cool monsters and the magnetic monsters are so cool
@@LuisSilva-rai pretty much, yeah. Most of them are just salty af about Frontier or just jump in the hate for no good reason. Or are hypocritical purists.
@@dinodude8899 dude, place Frontier's monsters right next to the main series ones and you will see they fit perfectly together. The only ones that you could, perhaps, say are a bit overdesigned (or as you put it "overblown") are Zenith monsters, but even then they were specifically design has such "spicky", so that argument doesnt really work.
Monster Hunter Frontier is really underrated and deserves more respect, and the monsters have a lot of potential to where I think some of these monsters from frontier should be added to Monster Hunter World Iceborne if that's possible for Capcom to do so.
I really hope Inagami, Eruzerion, Espinas, Anorupatisu(Onchopristalos), Diorex(Diorekkusu), Tartarus Rathian(UNKNOWN), Valhalla Rathalos(Zerureusu), Guanzorumu, Harudomerugu, Pokaradon, Baruragaru, Shantien, and Kioaruboru get added to the Main Series.
The hate for froniter is really unjustified at this point. The "it's to spiky" thing is kinda dumb since nergiaganta is just that. "BUT HE USES THEM" so it's not from a design stand point..its from a ecological stand point? Which all these monsters are very different from. If that's the case what's dalamuder excuse?
I am pretty sure (correct me if I am wrong) that dalamadur uses its spikes to grip and constrict as it would prob hunt monsters such as Lao Shan lung, Yama tsukami and the giant crab (also Zorah but he was made afterward) so they do have a use Also there are monsters in frontier that are spiky for a reason i.e espinas
thornberry gaming its never explicitly stated but it would make sense that dala is spiky because of the biome we see it in. It wraps itself and molds stone, so it would need to have good grip wherever it is. Also, I would love to see a dala try to just run along because it does have legs. Just think of a massive smake with tiny tiny legs trying to run lol
I’d love to see Anoru in the mainline series. You could even rename it so English players are more receptive to it(Anorus or Anorupe or something). He just seems so unique and perfect for a smaller single monster dlc
This is late but the game has been shut down for a while now sadly :/ It was japan only, and you got IP banned if your IP was from outside there. So most of the west never got to play it.
