I have thousands of cards in first edition. I’m trying to see what they are worth each. It’s tuff. I think I’ll hold onto them for another 10 years, I bet they’ll be worth a fortune.

i dont get the pricing for these cards. you say that horus the black flam dragon lvl8 is worth about 50$ but looking online i can find them for less then 8$ even the first and limited edition. i have a limited edition and thought id be worth some money but everywhere i look they are cheap even all the other cards your shoiwng...idk where your getting ur numbers from but i can find most of these online for less then 10.....is there someithing im missing when it comes to pricing? becaue i have a lot of these orinigal cards first and limited edition and want to seel but not if they are barley worth anyhitng
You're looking at ultra rare for the Horus when you should be looking at ULTIMATE rare. That's the one that sells for big money in 1st edition. The other versions are essentially worthless. What you're missing is set and rarity. A blue eyes white dragon from most sets is worth very little. But the Ultra rare from LOB (the one in my video) and 1st edition is worth about $200 now. You have to look at the details: set, rarity, edition and condition of the card. That's what separates $3 cards from $100+ cards

I had some of those cards like Mirror Force in Ultra Rare, Monster Reborn in Ultra Rare and Exodias Head in Ultra Rare... It was around 2005/2006 and i was 13 year old at that time. Now i am 21 years old and miss those good old days...trading cards with all kinds of people, buying cardpacks and being excited for the surprise in it and duelling with friends after school. I quitted with Yu-Gi-Oh when that shitty Yu-Gi-Oh GX was new on tv. It was a great time.
***** Blue-Eys Shining aren't worth (depending on which rarity) that much due to its mass print when the Pyramid of Light movie came out and it was only a Super Rare. If you just so happen to have the Secret Rare out of Retro Pack 2, you are a very lucky person. Secrets are hard to pull in Retro Pack 2 as well as very expensive. On average the Secret is $83.59 (according to YGO prices) and the Super is about $5.82 on average.
Same here, i think it was about 2006 or 2007 when i started collecting them so I had a lot of 1st edition cards. I also had 2 or 3 of these cards but back then they were not worth anything special and when I thought hmm I am too old for these cards i sold them and didn't get out a lot... Today I regret selling all these cards (not only because they are worth a lot more today)
Not trying to be a jerk but no you did not. I can pretty much say with guarantee you did not have half of these cards. And definitely not in first edition and from the same source. Those numbers between the cards frame and text are very very very important
I gave away my cards to my little cousin , I had the most rarest cards. A couple days later I find out my aunt throw away all the cards.... I had over 600 cards. I didn't mention I gave him the cards way back and I was planning on getting them back until I head the bad news. Now I'm wondering where to purchase yugioh cards... I'm disappointed..

WHOA! Ghost Rares look sick! Back in my day when I played Yugioh, we didn't get holos in everypack! No black, gray, and pendulums frame cards, and Ultimate Rares were a stuff of legend! Man this game has changed.
just because I have multiples of something doesn't mean it isn't rare. If someone has two or three copies of Action Comics 1 (worth over $1 million) does that mean it isn't rare? How many do you have? That's right, zero. And that goes for 99.9% of the population. I was smart and bought these up when they were cheap. Good luck finding any of these cards that I have multiples of anywhere for under $50. The Red-Eyes and Blue-Eyes from LOB are incredibly rare in 1st edition mint condition and consistently sell for $150-200 online

I used to have all of these cards. I gave them to a friend I don't speak to anymore, and so I now realise that was a dire mistake. I used to also have all of the 1st Edition Elemental Heroes that I won in my duel of a century.

I had so many rare cards when I was like 10 (I'm 15 now) but being the complete dumbass I was I never knew the value of these cards. So when I quit yugioh I gave all my best cards a friend 😭😭. Also my parents gave away the rest of my cards (over 15 tins full) and many of them we're very rare as well. I just got back into the game but now I have to start from scratch 😭😭😭😭

As someone who used to play YuGiOh back in 2003 I am absolutely mindblown that that blue eyes that literally every single kid had is worth a similar amount to that mechanical chaser, which was the most sought after card in the game and worth upwards of 100$.
I, was one of those kids who had lost of rare cards about 9 years ago. Played with them at school, wrecked them majorly. I was 10 and didn't give a single fuck
Nate Morrow Sleeves weren't all that well-known back then. Best we had were binders or the necklace containers. I'd put all my cards in my bookbag to take to school, or in my pocket. I'm surprised any of my old cards are still in good condition. No rips or tears, etc. But I had to get rid of a lot of the ones I destroyed, like my Dark Magician, Sorcerer of Dark Magic, etc. :/

Everyone saying they had these cards when they were kids. No you didn't. You did not have the exact copy with the specific set in first edition, you had reprints of the copy, or unlimited edition. Smh.
Also having the Ultimate rare and ghost rare cards too... yeah sure you had them. The tournament packs, Blue Eyes, and Dark Magician DDS are incredibly rare too.

Kids did not have tournament pack cards that were ultra rare ever. This is not some thing you casually came across even in the luckiest of situations. This is something you actively knew of its rarity in value and sought it out. Only person that would respond with, maybe they did who knows, or people who don’t know anything about Yu-Gi-Oh.
I own some of these cards myself (from the original booster packs dated 2002-2005). The old school Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are still amazing to collect. The new ones of the current decade, not so much. Impressive, man. I own the original Dark Magician card, Blue Eyes, "Metal Raiders" Mirror Force, "Pharaoh's Servant" Jinzo, "Magician's Force" Dark Magician Girl and Dark Paladin, but I still haven't gotten all three Egyptian God Cards (I only have Slifer).
both of yall are so naive I know this is ten months later but you have more likely less than one. In collecting anything there are essential things that make or brake the value of it. These are edition, rarity, and condition, I really doubt that you have any of these cards in the correct edition rarity and condition to come close to be of value.
Eliot Li Eliot Li edition is most important. I have a 1E SDY Dark Magician that looks a bit beaten up but somebody offered me $20 for it. Perfect was $40 or $50 when I checked at that time. Looks like that was a price spike since it isn’t anywhere nearly that high anymore. The point is that the main factor that contributes to value usually is where it comes from, with the condition multiplying that. The magic card market epitomizes this; power and reserved list cards can look like crap and still set you back hundreds or thousands of dollars, though this has a lot more to do with their functionality.
I feel you fam, I never really owned any of the rare cards I have now they were all my bro's but me being the jackass I lost a bunch of his rare cards including the White Dragon and A few dark magicians
That's nothing, my brother was giving me all his collection (had the dds promos, gbi God cards etc) but before he did, he brought in all the rarest to school because all his friends were showing their rarest cards. Then he left them in his pocket and they all got washed 😭😭😭😭

As a kid i'm more then certain I had all of these apart from #3. One day I traded them for Match Attax cards haha. I remember having like 20 blue eyes and dark magicians literally haha
this is hilarious. when i was in 2nd grade i played yugioh aaaall day long and we had a game where we push cards off a low wall (like 50cm high) every card that then lays open goes to the one who pushed. Its a 1on1 game. everyone places the same amount of cards and you do scirror-paper-rock to see who pushed first. I remember played against a good friend and we both playced 3 blue eyed white dragons... i won all. Then alter that day i won 2 dark magician and lost 2 b.e.w.dragons ... i had several monster reborn and red eyed dragons....all in all it would be a value of about 600 Dollars..... i lost them in 4th grade becaus i droped them in the rain.... useless afterwards.... i didnt care back then.... DAMMET
i used to goto albertsons as a kid and read the shonen jumps they had and ALWAYS found some of these cards and i remember the blue eyes ultimate i pulled too. dam nostalgia

Hi i m a collector too i am more of a art collector for the cards but one day like 4 years ago my first page of my collection was worth 150 dollars - 9 cards ,Normal monsters.My friends say that my collection might be a 6000 dollars or more worth but i have never checked the entire collection. But i love the DMG card that you have.

Leanne Walker monster reborn traphole broken and powerfull cards first of all you could have only 1 monster reborn in deck and i dont see how its overpowered to special summon a monster with it from ur grave or opponents and speaking about op you have cards nowadays with effects that just summon monsters and you can spam with them not to mention the pendulum cards which completely ruined the game for me half spell half monster card i mean wtf you dont even have to summon those cards to use their effects just put them in the pendulum zones and special summon tons of monsters on the field with those effects which you use for xyz summoning and even if i would use that monster reborn one of those monsters always has an effect to disable my card effects and you are saying that those cards are op an broken no lol monster reborn,change of heart,darkhole are not op they are just good cards and looking at the card nowadays even if they werent banned on tournaments you dont literally need them because you have so many others that can replace that yugioh isnt so good as it was summoning synchro dragons with 5000 atk that cant be destroyed in battle and card effects dont work on them i mean cmon....
Just an FYI, the game used to be a lot more expensive to play than the listed prices of some of the cards you mentioned. So I'm kinda surprised that some of these cards aren't more expensive now. But for example, Dark Armed Dragon 1st edition during the format that it wasn't restricted, reached prices of almost 500 bucks a piece. Now I know that they reprinted it a bunch of times and limited him (possibly banned at a point, idk I quit in 2009) but I was expecting some of the old old cards like the TP royal decree, 1st edition mirror forces, 1st edition PSV jinzo, 1st edition LOB cards to be way more valuable because back in 2008/9 they were more expensive than that. I played the game from 2003-2009. Was big into competitive play. Was one of the top ranked duelists in PA and YVD when that was a thing. It brings back some nostalgia to see some of these cards. Good times. Good times.
I remember going to a card place and they told me I had 300$ worth mind I was only 16 and very poor at the time well I kept them in my closet and planned to wait another year before selling them and next thing you know my Christian mother found them and threw them away becuz and I quote "I sensed the evil with those cards" I was so heart broken ugh I'll never forget that day.

The monster reborn at time of this video also went down even twice because it got reprinted in yugis world and joeys world ultra rare, mirror force had gone down for a while because it also got reprinted as secret rare in yugis world and joeys world. All these cards are 20x their price at this video filming .
