I am 62 years old and been wearing makeup since I was 13. Never ever had a compliment on my mascara until I started wearing Maybelline's Sky Hiigh Mascara. I also have sensitive eyes and this mascara doesn't iritate them at all. Love it and love your channel.

The Tiny Marvels palette was a Collab between Sydney Grace and YTber Mel Thompson. Mel had an incredible following on her beauty channel. She did amazing makeup and I miss her videos.. Sadly, she passed away from an illness this time last year😢❤ Her channel is still going so if you’re not busy… Maybe stop by and check out some of her videos because it will help her family, she has four young kids. Mel also did make up tutorials on her Tiny Marvels palette showing several different looks..

Mandy, you were the one who introduced me to the Flower Beauty bronzer and it has been my holy grail, ride or die bronzer/contour since the first time I tried it. I have literally bought only one other bronzer - ONE - in the last two years. It is the only makeup category where my favorite is so good and I love it so much I basically have no interest in trying new products. (And trust me, if you could see the rest of my collection, you'd know how weird that really is! LOL) I absolutely love your channel and this was such a fun video. I love learning which products are your tried and true favorites. Found a few things I might be ordering in the not too distant future...... Your eye look, BTW, is STUNNING!

I'm not a highlighter person and the LM Matte Radiance is the only one I'll use. I've tried at least a dozen others and realized I don't like the look of them, until I discovered this incredible item. The finish is so subtle and naturally glossy, it's like the highlighter for people who don't like highlighters. It's a classic but it should be viral bc it's that amazing! I haven't seen anyone mention it in a long time so I'm happily surprised to see it made your list! The essence pure nude is a good alternative, but it's too deep for the most ultra pale skin. I hope they never stop making it!

The Infallible had always been my go to until I tried the Loreal serum foundation, it is the absolute best I've ever used, beautiful finish and very long lasting!

Great, fun, video again Mandy. You are making me want to shop. I haven't tried Sydney Grace but I know the late Mel Thompson created the Tiny Marvels palette and she was very proud of it. I hope her children are still getting some proceeds from sales. Either way, I am going to check it out.

I enjoy all of your videos--your straightforward and friendly style especially! Would you consider doing a video about makeup formulas you like, but the colors don't work? And vice versa? When you mentioned you liked the Anastasia foundation formula but were not having much luck finding your color match, I realized I've experienced this problem every so often, and it can lead to tossing out expensive or excellent makeup when you don't really want to!

Mandy you have to try the Essence Bye Bye Panda Eye Mascara! It is a tubing mascara and its AMAZING!!!!! I love it so much. Great video and I love that Nabla pallet! I just ordered it based on your recommendation.

I finally tried the Anastasia foundation after the last Ulta sale and I agree…it is such a beautiful foundation! The shades are tricky. I got 220N which said it had peach undertones. I would have never bought it based on the description but I saw a couple of RU-vid videos where the ladies had a similar skin tone to me and I tried it. It’s perfect! I don’t know if I’ve ever had a better shade match.

I’ll have to try that Tarte glory primer. I’m trying the Tarte Smoothing Primer and it’s so nice. A I also pat on the Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer on a couple spots where my pores are larger.

I agree about the setting spray. It's like Febreze. Hear me out lol: For me it's that same finishing touch. When you clean your house and then you finish with a clean scent from Febreze or another room spray or light a candle. Obviously a good setting spray can help lock in the makeup, but even when it's not necessarily needed, it just feels like a final fresh finishing touch to a great makeup look! :)

Maybelline Waterproof Sky High is the only mascara I've found to keep my eyelashes curled up so my eyes look open. I use an eyelash curler, but my eyelashes usually won't hold a curl. Thanks for recommending it! I use the waterproof because my eyes water and I don't like to be bothered with my makeup after I initially put it on.. 🙂

Hey! My lashes won’t hold a curl either (also use eyelash curler), and I tried the Cover Girl Clean Mascara (waterproof version) in mint green tube and it works great, good curl hold. Nice volume and length too. Thanks for sharing the Maybelline recommendation 👆. Def going to try next :)

Maybelline sky high is my fave too double check miles waterproof so I use a waterproof eye remover with it I didn't realize it was till I looked closer I prefer waterproof mascara though

Hey Mandy Lea! I love this video from you! And a method of dealing with hyperpigmentation: Australian Gold SPF 50 tinted sunblock as an underbase and primer, with BareMinerals OG Original loose mineral powder foundation, buffed in very well. My naked face is two shades darker along my leftside jawline and throat (driver's darkness), and this combination works so well. My skin is normal-to-dry overall, with weirdly textured moody rosacea patches on my lower cheeks, and I've learned to stay away from traditional foundations because of color matching and my lack of patience with it all. So maybe this would work for you; I've added light moisturizing milky balm under my eyes and in the few really dry spots that occur every so often, and you know the nearly unlimited shade range of the BareMinerals. I like the subtle glow of the original formula, but there is also a matte form. So hey, thanks for all your energy, and for whittling down your huge collection to just a few of each category for this video. I'll bet it was hard!

That sunscreen and powder foundation combo is my go to as well! I have tons of hyperpigmentation, and while it doesn't cover it, it definitely tones it down.

I love the covergirl exhibitionist mascara and eyeliner. Have you ever tried them?? They are so good from the drugstore. I have aged a ton in 2yrs may be because I'm post menopause since 3yrs ago. But wrinkles have hit me big time. Skin changes and fat changes galore. I no longer know what to wear for foundation, concealer and powder. None of what I own looks good now. Very lost in those categories. I did really like the ysl foundation that they of course discontinued. I only had a sample of it but it looked really good. So since you can't get it anymore I have no idea what to get. Since I have major eye wrinkles I have no idea what to get either. :(

I hear you... I'm having pretty good luck with two different shades of Loreal true match stick concealer, I use as concealer and as a light foundation.. works for quick light coverage, no cakey creasing.

Hated the Flower beauty blushes!! They felt sticky, took off the foundation,sheer out to nothing and look like nothing on my lips. I ended up throwing mine away after trying for a couple weeks because I just couldn’t get it to work.

Hyperpigmentation should be color corrected with a lavender corrector filled by concealer or foundation. 😉

Not necessarily, lavender will ‘cancel’ a more yellowy skin color. If you have reddish issues , you use green. And blueish bags , you use a salmon color…..Basic color wheel theory. Unfortunately hyperpigmentations are usually a ‘brownish’ color and typical color correction is not the answer. So using a opaque good concealer is best

I still don't understand the hype for that particular Essence mascara. I tried it prior to it going viral. Like at least a yr before. I know I didn't get a bad one because the 1st day of use it made my lashes look beautiful but then the very next day it was clump city. I even tried to "revive" it by putting some contact solution in the tube but it was still a hot mess. I'm fully aware that not all products will work the same for everyone but when you're someone already starting out with great lashes a mascara isn't something I'd expect to have trouble with. Odd, to say the least... 🤔

Same thing happened to me with the Essence. It also flaked pretty bad. Not impressed with it at all. I tossed it out.

@@marybeth23 Yep, I tossed it out too. I also refuse to try any of the others they have. I can say the same thing when it comes to IT's Cosmetics mascaras. I tried one of their earlier releases. Till this day I've never had a mascara do to my lashes what theirs did. After taking it off it left a weird film on them. No matter what I used to make sure every trace was off my lashes nothing worked. When I went to apply a mascara that I've been using for over 30 yrs the following 2 days that film was still there. Of course it affected my trusted mascara. It was crazy, lol...

I've noticed the same thing. As you said. There's nothing wrong with liking more expensive products but I must admit. This isn't specific to Mandy but I do wonder if the raves for the drugstore products are well, honest... 🤷‍♀️

@@tammiemartinez6485 well, she started in 2016, skin can change a lot when we get older and what worked great may not work great anymore years later. I have experienced this myself, I am 37 and gravitate towards more expensive products for the most part not because I am a snob but because what used to work for my skin before doesn't look great anymore...🙈 I wish it would but in many cases it doesn't.
