I’m an original owner of a “spec-ordered” TJ Sport. She’s showing her age now, with 150k “on the clock”. I’m retired military and d a retired federal LEO. I’ve worked and lived all up and down the east coast, and all my kids learned to drive “stick” on her. I’m approaching 70, and seriously considering sinking “quite a sum” into a full restoration (brand new frame, suspension upgrades, and modernize the interior….leather upholstery, double DIN sound system with screen, etc. She still runs extremely well. I’m selling my Tacoma, my classic Porsche, most of my woodworking workshop--WAIT! maybe not my Porsche--there are still times that I want to “push the limits”….HEY! I’m getting older, but not dead yet! Nice ideas young man….thank you.
I'm getting a jeep 2005 with the 4.0 from my grandma for free :) but at first i thought it was a 2007 and i gotta tell you the jk has so many things you can buy to make it your own the tj has none lol buy im happy about the 4.0 over the 3.8 brick
The TJ is 10x better! And there are so many things you can get to make it your own. It’s a legendary Jeep and basically every off-road brand has TJ parts. But I would say keep it simple. It’s a classic design that looks best with minimal modifications 🤙
Thanks for the video, gives me some ideas for my TJ! Those seat covers are a great storage solution for packing small items where they're easily accessible. Where did you get your Jeep seatbelt covers? Those TJ seat belts are lacking in comfort! And yes, would love to see a video on your mods!
