About Lorcana competition, I work at GameStop and our pokemon goes (Relatively) steadily. We have been getting in Lorcana and it just doesnt go, there is so much overstock on it, no one wants it, theres drawers and drawers of it going no where.

Agreed, Pokémon needs to step up their game; S&V has been lack luster so far. Pokémon has been waay over printing and there will be a Pokemon sell off coming soon. I do think the other TCG competitors (i.e Lorcana, One Piece) will actually help Pokémon in the long run, because they will incentivize folks to stay in the TCG space and will invite new folks into the hobby.

Believe it or not but these sets coming out now that people are not buying or grading and or throwing the cards away have the best opportunity to become valuable later. You wont see another pokemon boom for another 15-20 years. Thats not a guess, its 100% a fact. You need to have dead moments in a hobby to have a boom like you did in 2020ish. I am glad Pokemon is doing everything they cab to saturate the market right now so grownups cant go and buy up all the cards, leaving the intended audience or children with nothing to buy.

I think you are wrong on scarlet and violet. Comparatively it is superior to sword and shield. Though it will have to bring it for the back half as that is where Sword and shield shined.
