it really makes me sad how insane the deference is between MoP and now, game doesnt feel anywhere the same. The tier sets, the class design, the pvp, the open world PvP that still went on back then, timeless isle, all the great raids they came out with, last expansion with old character models. It just felt objectively better in every aspect than the past 4 expansions it really makes my blood boil seeing my favorite MMO fall so far from grace
as a legion chill i still gotta agree, there is little things in life more satisfying than mop pvp and in the recent expansions its very hard to get the same feeling as back then
I disagree, the abolishment of talent trees were outright criminal. The WoD models were an infinite improvement from ol pixel face, and I think that's just nostalgia if you think old model is better and the legion gameplay with artifact traits really made the game rewarding, also the new animations were just beautiful. Order hall and class quests was the finishing touch
i started playing in Mistblade 3+ days and i realy love now MoP , it is my second time playing old chronicle after years and i realy love it , i was playing only draenor / legion / azeroth but i forgot that pandaria was once the best , and nice top 5 list man realy like it , my TOP 5 is ( Warrior Fury/Protection , Rogue Subtlety/Combat , Paladin Protection/Retribution , Hunter Marksmanship/Survival , Warlock Demonology/Destruction , keep it up man
Thank you, it is a really good expansion where every class can do sooo much, I especiall ylike the demonology warlock design on MoP, being in metamorphosis for a major part o fthe fight is amazing!
@@viggecokarlittecola4655 pretty good, not the most popular choice, but I especially like windwalker monks, because they are playable in double dps comps in 2s - similarly like a rogue, because they are able to snate enemies + they have great offhealing too, so if you are not sure about what comp or who you wanna play with in the future - monk could be a good choice…and mistweaver is a decent healing spec too
It is possible to beat everyone as a warrior, but not unless you outplay them, but if I am ranking classes I imagine them as if all were played by the best players ever and in the same gear…for 1v1 the best would probably be feral, ww monk, rogue, but the real world difference between the PvP classes doesn’t come to me as so huge as on other expansions, MoP is sooo much skill dependent - you have such a wide ability toolkit that if you have a good strategy, you are able to beat almost everything
big fan of your videos bro you got me into private servers and i’ve been loving mistblade so far. i’m not the best pvper so what’s the best entry class in your opinion (like the easiest class) i wanna get a total feel for mop pvp when blizzard drops the xpac in a couple years 👍
Man eventhough u dont mention them... ww monks are a bitch to fight against. they are pretty strong. hell most of the classes are viable in PVP thats why MOP was so fun/frustrating. good times. thoughts on ele shaman compared to other casters? I feel so squishy whenever I play that class
yeeah, it's so tough picking just few classes, almost everything feels powerful with such a big toolkit...ele looks very similar to Cata - squishy, yes, but highly competitive in 3v3 and RBGs
I main rogue on MOP and WOD but warlock is indeed a powerhouse, the problem i found with warlock though is, you can do just fine killing people until someone targets you and then you're screwed because everyone has an interupt/silence and can lock you down easily to where you can't cast anything, so basically you're unstoppable until you're not, with a rogue if you find yourself in a grim situation you can burst of speed vanish and not even have to use cloak of shadows to escape losing predicaments. i might try a lock anyway again. destro is pretty insane now that i think about it it plays pretty much like the rogue dmg wise, you can literally immolate and incinerate and conflag everything around a target with fire and brimstone, and with havoc you can chaosbolt more than 1 target. i like rogue with burst of speed and blade flurry with combat spec, i am leveling with blade flurry on and don't even bother turning it off for single target because i'm so used to it. i gravitate towards assassination for pvp though. it was my fav pvp in all of WoW in WOD and MOP as assassination rogue, countless hours spent in twin peaks/wsg literally assassinating the flag carriers, i would retreive the flag mainly because if i didn't do it nobody else would, they would just herpaderp mid forever if i was flag carrier so i just decided to be the one to get flag back always.
with destruction spec though you don't mind getting interrupted say on Fear because then you can still cast a big chaos bolt for instance, that's what I tend to do - spam fears not just for CC but also when I want them to waste their kick to hardcast big chaos...and rogues' mobility on MoP is totally broken, the Burst of Speed talent is crazy OP 🤯
hmm that's really personal, rogue is fun in PvP for its crowd control, especially in BGs, while monk is fun because of the mobility and kung fu moves, that's how I see it

Good question, they recently announced that there will be an option to progress to Tauri’s Legion some time after Tauri does, so there is a future, no more details though, so idk if there would be no more MoP on Stormforge after that or they would keep it or they would make it fresh again, but either way - that is not any time soon, so for the upcoming months, maybe even a year or more - Stormforge Mistblade will be on MoP last patch content
We talked about ferals a bit here in the comments, definitely a powerful spec but this is one of many expansions where ferals are great, so it’s to nobody’s surprise…Uh DK is a very good choice too, pretty similar to Cata both with its playstyle and viability, I am maining a DK on MoP now 😎
Not wrong. I mained warlock in this expansion but the removing of pvp resilience made warlock bad. PVE geared stared killing me if they had magic defense or CC. Quite the whole expansion after 3 weeks after that change.

Rogue but No feral? I mean feral was litterly the Most OP Shit mop Had in every aspect Heal, surv, cc, escape, sustain and insane burst in litterly every aspect over the top, which No Other class Had in this package Rogue was'n that good in mop Like was a god in cata, i mean its more Like good Like litterly all classes. But way to high CDs Dont forget Monk is ingame now
oh truuue, some of my most favorite WoW videos from Sodapoppin are from his duels as feral in MoP, gotta watch out for ferals for sure, I might update the list later if I see some other outstanding specs
@@az9498 Dude u could get bubble or ice block as feral in mop. Feral was super strong in mop. Feral + mage when mage gets healing touch from symbiosis and u get ice block. U could get feigh dead or u could vanish better then rogue in bg.
@@jalefar8247 this is the keypoint But even without, feral was a Nightmare for pretty much every Spec If the feral was good, which was'n the Point mostly, but the Options are endless and they Had Something for every Situation
There is usually about 90-100 alliance to 0 horde in random bg ques it's horrible. 2v2 is kinda active 3v3 doesn't exists unless it's the 3v3 event on wednesday or sunday. Not to mention the constant stability issues and roll backs they keep saying the have resolved just to have a new issue the next day. Defiantly lost a lot of players since launch.
that is a good question indeed, Apollo 3 disappointed me a bit but I still wanna keep playing there unless Stormforge totally crushes it, we have yet to see what Stormforge can do, it's a little too early to compare, but I am gonna give Stormforge a good try and see for myself if it's worth playing
i have to say i love this server! trying pvp for the first time ever playing wow since years... bgs is hella fun. im playing shadow priest but it really sucks i cant find many dueling/matchup guides for it online... a noob like me needs advice lol

note that gearing up to max season gear takes to much time not to roll an alt or go full pve due to frustration u get from bots on your team in bgs. And boomies are extremely weak up to 500 to say the least - barely playable even to farm mobs. But at 550 boomkin becomes a freaking pvp tank. These 550 hidden bonuses are disgusting.
@@MEYTRIX He won Blizzcon in 5.0.5 patch, when demo was buff. But Stormforge use 5.4. core client with 5.4 updates and buffs. Demon spec was nerfed on 5.4.
@@phenomenon4655 good point, I still think it is competitive in the hands of the right person, but the obvious popular choices for warlock are destro and affli mostly, but if I ever become a gamer/content creator for life - I will make a Journey to Rank 1 Series as a demo warlock on MoP!
Very good in BGs, decent in 3v3, not so good in 2v2, has crazy amount of CC, good off-healing capabilities, overall a fun spec to play, however, not something I would call overpowered 😕

It’s not just about who can beat the other class 1v1, it’s about all PvP brackets, world pvp, arena comps and changes to the class…warlock has never been as powerful in all of its 3 specs as on MoP, but it is also a matter of individual’s opinion ofc
snapshotting was a thing in mop, its what made affliction so damn good, the only way warriors or rogues can stand up to locks is if they have pillars to go and recover, otherwise in an open encounter you will simply not win against them
@@tamasjeko2556 I have never noticed a hack like that myself, only a very rare footage from someone else...when I tested some speed/fly hacks on Fstorm years ago, it still got automatically detected and GMs would follow me afterwards
@@MEYTRIX I made some guys to get banned back in the days. Also those two servers were full of bugs (fun one, when it was WOTLK, warriors could talent both enrage effect which normally does not allowed to stack, but on tauri, warriors used it in almost the whole lvl80 content till it got fixed), and players used to explored and used them to get andvantages on bgs, arena etc. Now, less bugs, but there are still major ones, also, in the last 10 or so years, they just couldn't balance out the dmgs. When i started on those servers, there were 4k-4k population. The more ppl, the more cheater, still i noticed some, i should say interesting things, like mage blinking 8 times on gcd, lock chaos bolt for 230k+150k overkill without a crit, and things like that. :) And if i dive in, what was it like back in the days, that's a whole f*cking book. Now, better, but still got the problems of the private servers.
