For me, the two worst songs in the history of Eurovision coincide in 2000, the 4 girls from Macedonia and the band from Israel, they did not tune a single note, a real ridiculous and lack of professionalism, the worst thing is that in the selection of their countries these songs won, what would the others be like? Impossible worse.
The song and performance of the 4 girls from North Macedonia should definitely receive a reward for being the worst EVER. As a matter of fact 80% of all Macedonia's entries were outright crap.

How is Unicorn a masterpiece? Is everything okay at home? There is absolutely zero melody, the drums cause nausea and the lyrics are undisputedly the worst in Eurovision history. It was literally created as a slideshow backdrop to Noa Kirel's twerking because she has nothing else to offer and is not even an actual song.
ok 2005 Turkey is bad but not that much. The story they wanted to tell was shamanism or tengrism which Turks believed before they converted to Islam. But because Turkish Radio and TV's pressure the song became more like an Indian song with screamings. The original Rimi Rimi Ley is better. But still it isnt a good song for the golden age of turkey's eurovision history.
I agree suntribe - Estonia 05 should be in there as should Germany group No Angels from 08 - who did not sing like them and were dressed more like 70s soft porn models. Israel 2000 is like The Room of the ESC its so bad, its top tier entertainment.
Some songs that I have ranked high in their respective years Monaco 1976 (top 3) Belarus 2013 (4th) Songs I believe are not as bad as top 50 Poland 2019 Albania 2016's original Albanian version was amazing, the English was a letdown (deserved)
Good video, very interesting choices. What was your criteria was for choosing these songs as worst of all time? I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that Unicorn was crap, although I have to disagree with you on 'Sugar'. There are some very talented performers in this video who clearly were given the wrong songs or just failed at performing live.
Respect to You for actually having the strength to make a list like this. Knowing have many outright HORRIBLE songs this contest have produced( I would file at least 10 songs every year under: Unbearable listening). Then again I do have a Tendency to pick favorites that end up in the bottom 3 (Spain,Belgium(1983,)Turkey(1989), France (2008 & 2022) And Norway(1984 & 2024). These " Bottoms" would probably all be on my Top50 BESTof ESC. So going back to yr 50 Worst of list. 🤩 I do agree with you (one third I can't even remember 😶😆)at least 49 of them. Still glad you list this though. Coz I had completely forgotten about this, but looking it up now, I completely changed by view. (so yet another top bottoms for my best of list) totally Talking about yr nr.25 : Odd Børre "Stress" ( actually the orchestration alone is better than some entire finals from the early 90s. it also introduced aspects of humor to ESC. That combined with its dead pan delivery, lyrically word playing & sung in Norwegian,. Altogether sounding like a heartfelt Tribute to Stress, Valium & Sleeping Pills, 🧭🤪🙃
Truly amazing, we share fourteen songs in our bottom 50 (I cherish to see Greece 1988 here), and I agree that many of the songs in your list deserved this honour - except Austria 1986 and Monaco 1967 which I have in my Top 50 favourites. 😉
Yeah, and why have you chosen these songs? I mean, ESC is actually full of weird shit, but in your "top" if at the beginning is some crap indeed, the highest songs are mostly pretty decent

I disagree on some (like Solayoh or DGT), but agree on many others. The absolute worst eurovision songs in my opinion are, in no particular order, Sing Sang Song (Germany 1976), Kan (Israel 1991), I Don't Wanna Leave (Poland 2009).
Some like Monaco 66 and 76, Norway 68, Belarus 13, Poland 19, Israel 23 or Lithuania 00 are marmite or personal gripes but well done putting in Norway 99 - that song is utter shite and IMO the worst thing Norway ever sent - yes worse than Stress which I quite like. I guess I quite like a number of wacky entries so I like Israel 07. You missed the the Social Network Song and Teenage Life I have a playlist of weird, woeful and occasional wonderful songs on a playlist I excluded both of them as being too excruciating awful even for me and it includes trash like Leto Svet, the Swiss Celebrate (the Croatian one isn't wacky enough it's just crap - Piero's overly enthusiastic performance 'elevates' the performance from just bad into wacky) therefore I'd include them in a worst song list - the SN Song id argue is in a tie with Chain of Lights for the worst San Marinese entry..

Too many Baltic entries here, while ignoring the actuality worst ones of this region, eg Latvia 2009, Estonia 2005, Estonia 2017, Lithuania 2005 and Lithuania 2019, maybe Lithuania 2017 as well. Maybe Latvia 2007, which has at least the benefit of a doubt as a joke entry and is intentionally that bad. And out of those you nominated, Latvia 2013 is by far the worst and would have made it on my list as well. And others you should have put on your list are Finland, Slovenia, the UK, and The Netherlands 2010. And the Dutch song of the following year should be up there as well. And Burning Daylight. Wnd Denmark 2023 wnd the UK 2023 for vocals alone. Teodor Andrei's vocals, on the other hand, were actually good. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
Jugoslavia 1991 was actually good, but orchestra ruined it, like many that year. Finland 2015 missing? Can't call that 1,5 min a song, rather roaring. Worst I ever heard.

I am Spanish and I am going to try to reasonably defend the Spanish songs that appear in this top list: 45-Spain 1996: I have never seen anything more infamous and poorly sung in my life.... 36-Spain 2006: it is indeed more infamous and worse sung than the previous one.... EVERYTHING CORRECT!
