Downtown Clearwater, is name Coachman park and is currently close for construction 😢 is been 2 Year now that is been closed no thru drive access also the Cleveland St has been closed for cars
Thanks for sharing about the free camping spots. I will have to check out IOverlander. The only boondocking is at camping world and Harvest Host so far. We have camped at a lot of florida state parks and some resorts in Florida cause we live in Florida!! Do you need to go early to these spots in order to get a spot? Melissa & Scott
It really just depends on the spot some you should get there before dark and the others after dark usually the ioverlander reviews give you some insight
Yeah thats a great spot for your size RV I stayed there 2 night without moving if you go further down just before the gate for the pier there are better spots with trees for shade and hammocks
@@queentashatv As an update, the poky shut down overnights in both the south and north parking areas of the Skyway Bridge in the last month or so. Only can pay to park on the piers which my understanding its $8 for a 24 hr period. The other suggestion (only for vans/suv's/cars would be on the north end. Get off and go to Maximo Marina. They have 48 hours parking but sorry, NO RV's.

I'm trying to subscribe to the boondockockers welcome but I don't see it.. making a list of all the places in Florida I'm in Virginia right now I'm originally from key West for the last 30 years but cost of living forced me away. Heading back to the Florida area next week definitely be using some of the places you spoke of
Check out Du Puis campground near Lake Okeechobee its free has hot showers bathrooms and it's 40 mins from Jupiter inlet. I was just up in VA about a month ago visiting some family outside of Richmond. Grew up in cocoa beach which is also a good area to boondocks with all the different places to park and a hot shower behind Sun Bum!

Hello Tasha, I love your video. I am also thinking about boon-docking full-time in central Florida. The cost of RV parks and RV resorts is discouraging, but I am happy to hear that doondocking is doable. In your video, you discussed places to boondock for a day or so. Can you share ways to boondock in over a week? Also, how do you charge your vehicle when you boondock? I'm new to the idea and just purchased an RV to start. You're not the first to mention free camping here (south skyway), yet I tried to stay just one night and had a very angry, rude cop kick me (and all others who were parked there) out about 2:30am. Banging on everyone's windows and screaming..."THIS IS NOT A CAMPGROUND! WAKE UP AND LEAVE NOW! There were no signs that said no overnight parking and I know you can fish 24/7 there, so it was very strange. I guess I need to give it another shot.
Sorry you had a bad experience but a lot os spots like this have an expiration date on🤷🏾♀️... Especially when people abuse it... and there were definetly people abusing it😒

I havent been back in a while butcive been told that that spot has expired... But depending on where you need to be exactly... There is free land in hillsborogh county under Southwest Florida Water Management that you can reserve for free up to 7 days also I've tested out quite a bit of Cracker Barrels in the area that are always good
Overnight camping at the Skyway Bridge is prohibited. The cops patrol there and will make campers leave. You might get lucky and score a free night, but I wouldn't plan on it.
Boondockers welcome has changed since this video was made. You can no longer see any information about anything at all. You have to pay first. To be fair, they do have a money back if not satisfied policy, so I guess you can pay for it and if it doesn't work for your needs just get your money back. Also, the price has nearly doubled.
Im grandfathered in at $50/ year and its been great for me not every camping solution is great for everyone because we all have different styles this is just a suggestive video from my perspective....and I posted on my channel when the price was going up
