Right now, I have 3 leave in conditioners and they have 3 different consistencies. I have the Creme of Nature Argan Oil Leave in Spray, African Pride Olive Oil Leave In and the L'oreal Elvive Protein Recharge Leave in. I do always wonder if I really need all of them, but I use them in my daily styling just to try use them up.
I’ve used this for 40 years. The only thing is that the solution doesn’t seem to be as strong as it once was. But it is still the absolute best for me. Nothing replaces it.
I've had a lot of success with the Mizani 25 Moisture Milk and the Redken Extreme Play Safe Leave In(its like a leave-in/heat protectant) Sometimes I use them together and they perform nicely together. Thanks for sharing😊
I use the african pride shea miracle moisture intense formula it has mango butter in it, it works well for me and the creme of nature liquid one love these two
😂😂😂 I counted my leave ins recently and I was shocked 😳 I loved Cantu the Shea Repair one. Especially if I stretch. I like the As I Am the regular one and the Jamaican black castor one too. One that I love and helped my hair a lot is the Creme of Nature Reconstructor leave in. The L’Oréal Elvive leave in and Okay leave in are good when blow drying and flat ironing. Sometimes I use the Aunt Jackie’s…..see this is ridiculous. I have both aphogee, I have infusium….which I love for protein. I also like Silk Elements Jojoba leave in… I still want to try the Mizani 25….this is crazy. NO! Enjoy what you have especially now I remember I just bought a small it’s a 10 silky leave in and that felt like butter so silky soft and strong. Send help!!! Then I complain how complicated my wash day is blah blah blah…..
For 40 years I’ve used the Infusium 23 leave in conditioner. The next best brand of liquid leave in for me is the Fantasia IC. I haven’t tried their Avacado Cilantro though.
After 11 years of being natural and 3 being natural adjacent- i finally permed my hair again. I tried putting the miss jessies quench while wet and that was a mistake i instantly felt. However the AsIAm quickly rectified the issue 2 days later when i put it in to try to quell the dryness. I will admit, its not hittin the same way it was when i was natural, but i do think the same point of not putting enough is true. I didnt think i needed alot because my hair wasnt as inflated, but ive been putting a little bit every 2 to 3 days now (on the ends mostly) and ive been seeing a difference. Good for moisture l, but my ends still be tangled at the end of the day even if i did chop an inch and half off on perm day.
You might want to try and add a serum after the leave in. Kinda like oil when natural. A drop of serum will help seal in the moisture from the leave in and help with tangles. Keep in mind most serums are full of silicones. I love serums. If you don’t want that then try a drop of oil, rub in palm just like the serum, then add to your ends. With doing that on your wash day, you may not need to do it as frequently. Some commonly used serums: Paul Mitchell Super Skinny John Frieda Frizz Ease (Dena has a video I believe) Garnier Sleek and Shine Anti frizz Serum
My favorite is Olaplex 6 which i use as a leave in before heat styling. It makes the hair feel so soft and melts any tangles. Worth the money and one pump is enough for a quarter section of hair.
May I ask if you still use this and how much per section? The bottle says half a pump for your whole head basically and I noticed no difference when following the directions ☹️
I’ve tried this twice after the complete treatment. The 2nd time I applied Infusium 23 (been using for 40 years) and then added Olaplex No. 6. My hair didn’t like that at all. It turned out hard. These are two very good products. I believe it’s either/or, and never use them together for me.
You’ve read that Cream Leave-Ins are best for those with Thick, Coarse hair…then it states that most leave-ins with a “creamy consistency” are also great as water based moisturizers which are excellent for those with fine hair….(I’m confused because all leave-ins have WATER, right?..so is cream good or not for fine hair)? I LOVE a lot of your videos and I am a subscriber, but this one guuurl got me confused. Thanks for posting
Hey girl... I think the writer was distinguishing between thick, creamy leave-ins and watery leave-ins. Yes they both have water as their base ingredients, but creams tend to have in less water. At least that's what I got from it. 🥰
Please I'd love to clarify something. Can I use a leave in conditioner as a moisturizer or I need to get a moisturizer separately? What moisturizers would you recommend? Thank you ☺
I love your accent in the end...I'm new to your channel. And I didn't want to ask, but u said it in the video. I was going to ask what's your nationality is.
I used the Cantu Shea Butter leave in for years, but after a while I realized that it just wasn't doing it's job anymore. Plus it began to leave my scalp kinda flaky and itchy. 1 day I looked at the ingredient list and saw a bunch of proteins in there. Must've been an overload then 🤔 Then I switched to their avocado leave-in and that did it's job perfectly, but after 1 tub I started noticing that my scalp became itchy really fast and also flaky. Do I ditched it after the 2nd tub. Then I tried the S Curl moisturizer. Great one. Truly leaves my hair feeling moisturized for daysss. But I started getting some sort of eczema on my face after a while. Really sad that I had to ditch it. Now I'm just back on the ORS moisturizing lotion. It's way too thick; I actually prefer runnier ones. So I just "dilude" it with some water. It doesn't do the job, tbh. I still haven't found what my hair needs 😔 The Aunt Jackie's Knot On My Watch is so good for detangling and it also leaves my hair very soft, not for long tho. It's also very runny so I often run out of it very quickly too. All of these products are kinda expensive now in my country, except for the ORS one.
@@DenaJ hey there, thanks for sharing.. is that Cantu the Shea butter or argan oil? sorry i missed that part and is it a protein free leave in??? thanks in advance.
dwl 10 is excessive, I use creme of nature, been using for years, so I check my stash I actually have 5, 3 liquid 2 creme, why when how 🤣🤣, I have 2 moisture base
