Me and Argy are parting ways , but on very good terms!
I'll tell you what it is. The Argon8 is an incredible synth but I kinda see it more as a studio tool, and currently I'm wanting to focus on putting a live rig together to get out and do some gigs!
I'm gonna miss it but I'm also looking forward to discovering the perfect live rig (if such a thing exists). I've already got one "new" piece of gear, and it's a bit of a leftfield one for me... more on that soon!

Ah man! I’m really on the edge on this one. I really don’t know what do get. It’s so confusing to have too many options. While a few years ago it was about what was on the market, now it’s about whatever is going to be in the basket when the day comes I want to order lol. You make everything sound great and I guess that makes it even harder. I was sure about the DM12, but this one just sounds more like “me”. Hydrasynth is just making me wanna drop everything else, but I feel like this one has an amazing interface, and I’m worried about being overwhelmed with options. I’m all plug-in at the moment, but I don’t do enough with the controls because I don’t like turning knobs with my mouse, so I just work with presets. Been watching all of your videos, and I love your calm approach. You play the sounds I want to get out of my machines. What’s your favourite polysynth you tried? What’s next on the list?

Hey man, yea choosing what to get really is confusing these days! I once bought the Moog Sub37 because it looked so amazing and everyone was saying such great things about it. I really did not enjoy it and ended up selling it. I definitely recommend deciding what to buy based on the sounds it makes - does it inspire you to make music? Does it make the kind of sounds you love? For now I'm gonna focus on a live set-up so I'll prob get another groovebox and a module or two. I've also been thinking a lot about the Twisted Electrons Mega FM. It seems a bit mad but makes some really crazy sounds :D

Just bught one its coming in a few days…. were the arps created in the Argon8 or with the Arturia? Have a ton of sequencers on the ipad that I want to test

Nice one. Thank you. I have a Launchkey Mini MKIII, 25 keys and am seriously considering the Argon8M. Or should I get the Argon 8 with an extra octave, or even the Cobalt 8, or the Uno Synth Pro looks nice, or finally, how about the Microfreak with a Korg NTS-1..? I know what you mean about the difficulty to choose. Any tips would be appreciated.) Thanks

Such a difficult decision! Had never heard of the Uno Synth - i will check it out! For some reason choosing a polysynth is the most difficult decision lol Personally I've been leaning towards more digital sounds recently so I'm on the hunt for something FM... maybe the digitone!
