As a woman I admired her deeply and respected her immensely. I live in the US and she’s been the queen my whole lifetime and I’m 64. Still can’t believe she’s gone. 😢
My sentiments too. But we had her example through some tough years and through her steady leadership leave us in better shape than before. I pray she's at peace with her Prince in heaven. Having some tea and scones w/marmalade in her honor.
I am American born but a British mother so the Queen has always been a part of my life. I admired her tremendously, style, Grace, Dignity, strength of character, dedicated to her county and Commonwealth, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Many world leaders could learn a lot from her for sure. She will truly be missed. I’ve shed many tears. She will be with her darling husband and in peace. To the end she did her duty, rest now our Queen. Good bless the new King Charles III.
She had been Queen for my whole lifetime. I overheard two of my coworkers talking about her passing, and in a strange way I felt her loss very hard. God bless Her Majesty, and may He send comfort to her family and the entire Commonwealth. I'm in the US, but I mourn her passing.
I especially enjoyed photos and stories of her life at Balmoral. You could tell underneath all the pomp and circumstance, she was a just a woman who enjoyed the countryside, her horses and dogs.
Dear Nicolas ... Such a lovely, warm, and respectful tribute to Her Majesty. Thank you. I anticipated that you would not have a youtube episode last week, as I knew of your love of the Queen, and the fact that she would be passing through Scotland and Edinburgh just last weekend. I thought that your 'pause' in posting was most appropriate. This tribute was warm and loving - with a touch of humor - like the Queen herself! She would have been touched by your tribute and your love for her. Love to you. Jim in Orlando. 💝
Well spoken Nicholas!!! I felt the same in Australia I still haven't come to terms with our lost. I haven't stopped watching every thing about the Queen in the past week. God bless you.
Thank you, Nicolas, she was my Queen for 51 years, I served for her in the Canadian Grenadier Guards for 2 years, this unit is in Montreal Quebec. It is the twin sister of your Grenadier Guard regiment. I will miss her much, may she rest with Philip in heaven, and now we have to look forward for an new era, with our new king. Long live King Charles III!
This was a beautiful tribute to our Queen and perfectly timed with her state funeral tomorrow. Thankyou Nicholas for your sensitivity and showing such respect at such a sad time. Sue x
I was thinking about you ever since her passing. I watched all the coverage, and memorials. She was such a lovely example for mankind. God, Rest her sweet soul.
I live in Canada & the Queen has always been part of my life as well. Thank you for making this video celebrating your thoughts of such a wonderful, kind, selfless & dedicated human being. She is sadly missed by many worldwide.❤❤😢
I’m in Canada and have been feeling so sad, as well. She was the only Monarch I remember. Your tribute was fabulous, thank you. The Her Majesty book on Amazon in Canada is $416 about £275 so you found a gem!
Thank you for sharing this lovely tribute to Her Majesty The Queen. I am going to miss seeing her and her beautiful hats and ensembles. You did a beautiful job.
What a beautiful tribute! Thank you for doing it. You have honored her legacy and I hope it has helped you in your sorrow. It did for me. I live in the United States. I admired her dignity, grace and sense of humor. May she rest in peace.
Thank you Nicolas for your beautiful words and thoughts about Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. She will be so missed by all and never forgotten ⚘️❤️ Nicolas you made the Queens dessert look so beautiful on such a beautiful silver platter. She would have loved it! To add to your beautifully decorated table with the beautiful China tea cup and saucer and tea pot with the chocolate squares would have been the Queen sitting with you enjoying it as well with pleasant conversation. You are someone I am sure the Queen would have enjoyed conversing with. I absolutely loved the books you shared with us. The picture of her wearing the black cloak is so majestic. I, like you Nicolas, wish she could have lived to be 100. If I were asked who in the world living or passed would you like to sit and have a conversation with? I would have said, Queen Elizabeth⚘️
I love this episode, condolences from the USA. When I saw the news that she was very ill last week I had the SICKEST feeling in my stomach, pure fear! And even today, I CANNOT wrap my head around the fact the she is gone and tomorrow we say goodby forever. :(
Nicolas, even though I am German-American, I, like millions around the world, was saddened by the departure of Queen Elizabeth II. I think one of the most important things you said in your thoughtful and heart-felt commentary, was that the late Queen would have wanted us to go on with hopeful hearts. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and a delicious recipe.
Condolences to you Nick, and everyone who is feeling the loss of our Queen. It’s a sad time. But she is now with her beloved Philip. So we can take some comfort in that. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
What a lovely & heartfelt tribute to Her late Majesty, the Queen 🤍 Thinking of you and your fellow countrymen as she will be laid to rest tomorrow beside her beloved husband... 🥀
I live in Missouri, the Mid West in the U.S. May I say she was my Queen too. For sure. Surely the people of the U.K. know they must share their Royals with us. We insist. What a class act and lovely person she was, pure grace defined. Our planet is poorer without her.
Nicolas you are just such a kind man with such depth and sincerity and gentleness, I just loved listening to this episode especially dedicated to the Queen, it was so moving the way you spoke about her. I was able to go to Westminster and after queueing for 13+ hrs, was so emotional when finally reaching the hall and just being in her presence with everyone else, mindblowing really, her crown was sparkling! I shall never forget it, and we even witnessed the changing of the guards - a double whammy! Thankyou for being you xx
God Bless you and thank you for sharing. I grieve the loss of Her Majesty simply for the person that she was: a leader of great integrity, class and duty. What a marvelous woman and beautiful soul.
That was a most wonderful tribute Nicolas. I lost my mother when I was quite young and the Queen reminded me so much of her. Not only did they look very similar but my Mother had a great sense of humour and she was very much admired for her diplomacy and good nature too. Every time I saw the Queen it reminded me of her so much so I feel a double loss. I’m sure she was a very lovely amiable person and she will be very sadly missed.
It's the same with me . My maternal grandmother was born in Shrewsbury so my mum passed on her love of the Queen and the UK to her 5 girls . I saw the Queen in 2010 and having lost my mum a few years earlier it was hard to hold back the tears . I loved hearing your story about your mother and I'm sorry you lost her so early . . 💕🇨🇦👑
Such a perfect, peaceful and lovely remembrance of the Queen. Thank you for sharing your very special books of her wonderful life. You are right to say that she was everybody’s Queen. She will be missed and remembered always.
A marvelous tribute Nic! She was a stalwart figure in my life as well, having met her in 1985 whilst living in London as a teen. A constant reminder of duty and dedication. Something we could all use more of in our lives. Thank you for making the time to honor Her! xoxo
Seriously! Every week when I watch your videos, you just continue to give all of your fans a reason to love you more! Never change! You're such an awesome young man! An awesome presence in the world! Nicholas, never stop doing what you do! WE LOVE YOU! 💖
Thank you Nicholas! This was one of the most beautiful and sincere tributes I've seen on her Majesty the Queen. God Bless you and may her Majesty rest in peace...🙏👑🙏
Very touching tribute, indeed. My mother and I watched the Coronation from the US on a small black and white television. I was four. I have admired the Queen my whole life. Thank you for your words. ✨
Very nice, Nicolas. I offer you and all of the UK my condolences. The Queen was coronated the year I was born, so she has been a constant all my life. I am American but did always respect her and her constant stability and kindness. I, along with you and all the world, mourn the loss of such an amazing woman! God bless you, and God save the King.
Thank you so much Nicholas for sharing this with us. I am here in the United States and I can tell you she meant a lot to us as well. Sorry for your loss and thank for making such a beautiful video!!!
😢Having grown up watching the Queen on TV because my grandparents are from the UK, I was stunned that after only 48 hours, she welcomed the new P.M. when 9/11 hit the USA .. I believe it was then she said “ grief is the price we pay for love “ Queen Elizabeth was never about herself, but the monarchy. She was the epitome of selflessness, elegance and above all..duty to her country and the commonwealth. Nicholas, thank you for this absolutely wonderful tribute to HRH Queen Elizabeth 💜
Thank you, Nicolas, for this beautiful tribute to Her Majesty, the Queen. As an American, I always held the most respect for her. We can all learn lessons in dignity, respect, service, grace, and dignity from her. You captured her warmth, respect, and dignity in the manner in which you gave her honor. Looking forward to next week's video. All the best from New York, Gabriel.
I just loved the two pictures of the Queen young and older in her cloak. I thought they were my favorite until the picture that her dress maker took. The Queen in the white dress with her hands in her pockets❤.This was just wonderful Nicolas.
Love the way you talked about the Queen she was quite the lady and example to all of us. Loved how she handle situations with such grace and compassion for her country and the people she loved so much. Thank you!! ❤
Thank you for your tribute. I am in America and have cried as if she was my own queen. I wish I could have come to pay my respects in person. God bless you all, and thank you again. Love, Jeanie I can't believe she is gone. xxoo
Thank you, Nicolas! A beautiful tribute to the Queen! She was very much admired by those of us who live in the United States and who share our sadness in her passing along with you and your Country.
What a perfect tribute to The Queen. You've shared heartfelt words, reverence for her life, one of her favorite cakes (looks delicious) and excerpts from your books with things I hadn't seen nor known. I just knew yours would be the go-to channel for the perfect tribute.
Rest in peace Your Majesty! You will continue to inspire billions around the world with your example of duty, steadfastness, dignity and dedication. Salutations to you from India 🇮🇳 Ma’am! Deeply saddened. 🙏 Indeed, a passing of an era!
Nicolás thanks for the delicious recipe. It’s comforting to know that the Queen was in happy spirit and not in any pain. She was blessed to live a long life. 😢
A beautiful and tasteful tribute that has added to how I am marking The Queen's passing. I will be getting up at 4 a.m. on the east coast of the United States to be a part of the final goodbye.
After vigorously following her funeral from Balmoral to Windsor, I was left with a sad deep sense of terrible loss at her passing, but on watching your beautiful tribute to the Queen, I found such comfort again & it brought a smile to my face after so many days of shedding tears. Thank you.
That was beautifully done. I began a ritual of having afternoon tea to break up my day nicely, simply because of the Queen! Will miss her. I really enjoy your wholesome videos xo
The Queen was a constant in all our life's There was so much history with her Majesty she will continue to live on in all our souls by remembering all the Queen accomplished Thanks for your video it's an awesome tribute

Good afternoon Nicolas! Thank you for your tribute to Her Majesty, the Queen! Truly beautiful! As an American, I also thank you for your quietening of videos to pay your respects and honor of her life. I understand when you said she’s been the Queen your whole life. She’s been the same for my whole life, too. She will be missed. Prayers for the Queen’s family, you and your country. 🙏🏻💕
thank you Nicolas for that beautiful Eulogy. I loved the Queen too, for her faithfulness and steadfastness to her position. She was a wonderful example to us all.
Queen Elizabeth II was well loved and highly respected here in the US. I am so sad that she passed. She was an amazing devoted woman will forever be cherished by those who adored her. God bless you and God bless all. Thank you for your wonderful tribute to her. ❤
Nicolas, you’re sharing about the queen’s passing was so moving. Queen Elizabeth 11’s passing has affected many of us In ways that we weren’t expecting. It’s exactly as you shared. As King Charles 111 said: “ A life well lived.” so appropriate. I live in Canada and I have been watching as much as I can over a week now on the Queen’s life and the 10 days of mourning. She will be ❤️🩹missed and she will be remembered. ☀️
Dear Nicolas, this is one of the most touching tributes to The Queen I've been watching ever. The fact that you wanted to remember and celebrate Her Majesty through Her pictures and most favourite cakes is showing real empathy and respect, and so lovely, really warm and genuine . So sensitive as you are. Thanks a lot
Wonderful video! A great tribute to Queen Elizabeth! She would have loved this! 💖 Your words are so eloquent! I loved her, too! Yes, I wished that she would have lived to be 100, too! It was shock to me, also! GOD BLESS THE QUEEN! 💖 She really was always duty first! A GREAT MONARCH! BEAUTIFUL, Nicholas! JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thank you for sharing...I also thought she would as long as the Queen Mum...thank you for the beautiful photos, tea service and cake. She will be missed! Her family will carry on and make her proud!
My condolences, on the death of your beloved Queen . The world will miss her. Thank you for the thoughtfulness and beauty of each of your videos. I so look forward to seeing your beautiful postings every week. Your tasteful, quiet refinement is absolutely a breath of fresh, welcomed air. Thank you so much. Wishing you much future happiness and success.
Very sweetly done …A beautiful remembrance..💕💗 I am an American, and as we don’t have royalty, I always felt the queen was my queen to….Probably because My great grandmother who lived half her life in England, and emigrated here in her 40’s, followed the events 😊in the United Kingdom, (it was always her home,) she had a beautiful english accent, and she told many a story of growing up in the villages near London. I was born the same year as Princess Anne. I was married the same year Charles and Diana, have two children born the same years as Prince William and Harry, and I got a divorce the same year as the they did…..lol…That was just happenstance…of course, but all the same it has made me feel connected…. Plus, I absolutely love afternoon tea, the ritual of dressing up and being served an elegant lunch….which you eat with your fingers💗
So well done, Nicolas. The Queen was an amazing lady and I loved her! I, too, have read Angela Kelly's book. Fascinating! Thank you for such a lovely vlog.
This was a wonderful thoughtful tribute to the Queen. And probably the only tribute I have seen amongst the handful of vloggers I follow. Truly heartfelt. Yes I also felt the Queen would live forever and have been so sad. I have missed the UK tremendously as I live in the US and can’t imagine how it will feel seeing the subtle changes on post boxes, stamps and currency. A lovely walk through the books and a perfect recipe. My sister, just a week before the Queens's passing, took her family to Buckingham Palace for a tour inside and had afternoon tea in the royal garden, today she and the family are in London paying tribute. A fitting vlog for how so many of us are feeling at this time. Thank you and God bless.
She was a great great queen and lady. We in America loved, admired, and respected her. May she Rest In Peace. The only Queen of England l have ever known.
I'm from New Zealand and we all feel the loss of our Queen. I always look forward to her Christmas message. It feels the Christmas Day is not complete without her festive greeting. This Christmas, she will be sorely missed
