What a strange accident. No telling where that metal sliver came from. I too had a blowout on my trailer last year going to Havasu. Never knew it until I made a pit-stop. Dual axels are a life saver, literally. Anyway, glad you made it. Enjoy your winter in Q.

OMG! I had a blowout on I-10, single axle totaled my trailer so much damage! so sorry i just went through not power, water pump, so no fridge etc thank god for my van and progressive insurance! best wishes to you!

Hi Marie, what a journey eh? Glad you arrived Q-town safely. I’m sure going to get a RV & Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), the first chance I get, too many reporting of blowouts on the highway lately! My RV’s modifications should be finished later today, so I may be leaving NC just as fast as they hand me back the keys. I’ll be heading to Q-town too, in a roundabout way. Hopefully, I should be dragging my chair over to Lorries Way campfire to join everyone this weekend. Fair Winds.
Oh, I was just watching Dave's RV and he bought a digital device that monitor each tires pressure. He has it mounted on dashboard so he can keep a close eye on it while traveling. You might want to inquire around about getting one.
I’m so sorry for your issues. Maybe your insurance will cover the spoil food. My insurance cover all my losses and then some when the freeze in Texas cause the big power outage for 3 days. Yep, the wife and I do most of our shopping at the Hy-Vee and Menards, there. You drove past my house, assuming you were taking 35/80 west and drove past the Bridgestone plant, off 2nd Ave.

Most people will say, oh Covid was the cause because so many people quit and you can’t find good help anymore. But, Roadtrek was bought out before Covid because I believe quality control went out the window, and customer service did to. Glad everything worked out, and you can relax.

Make sure the tires you buy are made in America. Most trailer tires they put on new trailers are made in China, which is why they are called China bombs. I bought Carlisle brand for my trailer. I have a friend who is having exactly the same electrical problems, wish you had said what was wrong and how it was fixed.
