Aah, you missed the most beautiful part of Rostock: Warnemünde - the beach and Spa region. It's also a popular cruise ship destination, you'll find many US tourists here on their Baltic Sea cruise. A good reason to come back in the summer time.
You would never believe how broken down this city was, 30 years ago. I was truck driving then. Drove through it several times. Never been there again, ever since. Thanks for sharing!
As a german, i must say: You do deserve more subs! Like the editing, and music choices. I do know Connor Sullivan, Silas Nacitas, Punting for the People etc. - yet, all of them are mostly based to southern germany. So......finding you, exploring northern Germany as an American is a fresh breeze to see, hear and enjoy. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has a lot to offer, even though the least dense State of .GER, we have: - kinda "big" Urban City's like Rostock/Schwerin + yet close wooden, remote Areas in the " State of a thousand Lakes " - with romantic Islands, in those Lake's :O (Not even far from Rostock ;p) Enjoy your stay > no matter where you are in, northern Germany (:
What a nice comment, thank you! It's not very often someone notices editing and music - I really appreciate it. There are so many amazing cities in Germany and many hidden gems. :)
@@MyBigGermanAdventure Look at the car plate: "HRO". "RO" stands for Rostock, "H" stands for "Hanse-Stadt". (The same with HH for Hamburg, HB for Bremen, HL for Lübeck, HGW for Greifswald, HST for Stralsund.)
@@MyBigGermanAdventure indeed, there are - yet you seem to be connected to northern germany. there is only one question to answer from here on: you like urban areas or suburban ? ;)
@@LookAtMyGlock88 your southern ass "islands in the forested lakes" are the most beautuful As*es i saw in three decades. So, yeah - for sure - Rostock is cool and urban, yet not....beautiful xP
