They created a 4-lane highway in NB. To pay for it they put up tolls. I was perfectly happy to pay it. Later the locals complained and the tolls stopped. But I was still happy to pay tolls for a good road.

Unfortunately, Josh, its not the roads but people not driving to the conditions that causes accidents and we all suffer the consequences. Not looking forward to winter here in North Queensland, I might have to put on a T shirt but the thongs [flip flops] will definitely stay......lol.

yehudiadelphos1 I am about 1000+ k from where it hit land but it has traveled down the coast and mate I can tell you we are copping a drenching at the moment, been up most of the night listening to the rain pounding on the roof.[Townsville is my home]

Not much traffic through hwy 11 or 17 to warrant 4 lanes. In that part of Remote area, it probably cost 10 million USD per KM, so do the math for 2000+ KMs. plus you add environment assessment, dealing with NIMBYs, road maintenance, salting, snow plow it will costs Billions every year. No amount of Toll will cover this white elephant

I come from hell hole Sudbury and now live Orillia north of T.O.Used to spend summers in Bousejour at Grandmas.Can't live in Manitoba .Maybe THe BC Gulf Islands will work for me ?

Went north to Canada, Quebec and Ontario, for 35 years on yearly fishing trips with my dad. He loved Canada. Always wanted to drive the big rigs. I became a cop. Okay cut me some slack. I always respected the truckers I ran across and proud to say always able to avoid citations issued. You have the best of both worlds. Well, except in the winter. How do you Canucks tolerate all that snow eh? Be safe and keep the videos coming

Josh ; I will tell you this; you will be a excellent husband for your wife , once you got married ! , because any one that can keep up with a dog in a truck for that long under the difficult circumstances (weather etc.) like you do , must be able to handle any kind of women ! LOL Not nice to be delayed if you are on the way home. Must say ; I would love to visit the US , (and experience it in a truck) , but I know that the cold will get me under ! Would have to stay in the parts where it DON'T SNOW !!! Greetings from South Africa

Hey Josh & Diesel, I watch your show all the time and I got to tell you I am a southern boy from the deep south way down on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and we are not accustomed to driving in that kind of weather we were use to a lot of rain maybe we get a half ince of snow every 10 years or so I know if we had weather like yours the whole state would shut down because nobody knows how to drive in your kind of weather.

no need for a 4 lane highway keep it 2 lanes cause the ones that do end up in the ditch for driving to fast like many OTR drivers do they keep me employed doing heavy towing and recovery so please let them keep going 105 in the 80 zone

I used to run the Taliban highway and refuse to so as of 3 years ago. This is not a safe road to be on. Now I only run the US.

Have to say, the "don't go power crazy" ad by Volvo was funny. I usually go around the ads...but not this one. It's funny. - turn up the sound. LOL - I think Diesel wanted to stay at the truck stop. Isn't it nice that the trans-canada highway is a stinking two lane (accident waiting to happen) through Ontario!! What a joke! My brother-in-law and former team driving partner died near Kenora a few years ago when his new partner fell asleep at the wheel.

I was on that hwy on the same day you were, You would have went right by me as I was going south bound, I thought I seen you truck, going by. As you see the road were bad that day so I was busy watching the road, I would love to see a 4 lane hwy up this way. You stay safe Josh, Take care,
