I think a lot of people forgot how we know of her . This girl LOST HER BABY and then LOST HER BOYFRIEND and now here we are with this situation. Give her grace smh yes putting your hands on a man is wrong but so many things he could have done other than what he actually did . My heart goes out to her so young and so much trauma.
Her story hasn’t changed one bit, it’s the same story she told when she was on live & that’s what I love about her, she doesn’t have to lie about anything. This woman has been through so much, there’s always a rainbow at the end of the tunnel. Flo is 25, Carena is 21 & she can take accountability for her actions .. it’s sad that he still acts like a kid.
So many people failed her and it breaks my heart. What makes it worse is there were so many males around that weren’t man enough to break up the fight or contain Flo. Even though she’s 21 , that’s still very young to be in another state alone with no family support. I’m just so thankful she’s still alive and able to tell her story. Flo needs to be under the jail for his despicable behavior.

Especially if the abuser is a narcissist and/or you feel you have no where else to turn. When I finally had the courage to leave, I lived in fear for years watching my every move not knowing if he is waiting for me somewhere. There is a LOT of mental anguish that comes with abuse. Victims often feel they are to blame and/or have had so much fear instilled into them, they feel hopeless. Showing empathy and compassion is free. I pray you and/or a person you love never have to endure it because I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

I was so ashamed that I didn't want to let anyone know what was really going on with me until something traumatic happened and it ended up having to come out for my family to know. Coming from someone who survived DV baby one thing I would say surround yourself with people who have been through this that can relate and help you over come without judgement. People who didn’t experience DV will never be able to understand nor give advice for something they didn’t experience. People will be ignorant and always ask why stay baby take all the time you need to heal and get yourself together. You don’t owe anyone an explanation because it’s your story and no one who hasn’t been there to know the truth the FULL truth and that people are a different character behind close doors then no need to waste your story on people who aren’t understanding and asking the wrong things instead of encouragement. When you said “I loved you but it felt like you hated me” I couldn’t do nothing but cry. I went through a very similar situation to yours. Dude held me down poured liquor in my face and many other unspeakable things on top of locking me in a dark room in the back of his house. The only difference is I was dumb enough to go back and now my life is changed forever. He didn’t gaf about what happened to me or what he did to me and never changed. I felt that hate comment cause he seemed jealous of me would literally get mad when I talked about things like going back to college and dancing. When they know you’re too good for them and can do better, they’ll treat you poorly. You’re so beautiful carena and flo knows you had somebody bigger than him and that you can again. Thank God you got out of this situation because my cousin was a victim and it caused her, her life she was murder by her baby's father the person that was supposed to protect her and they were together for 10+ years and she was pregnant. Ladies please when you see the signs try to get out don't let go on for too long as hard as it may be to get out please confined in someone and get help before it's too late

FLO IS WRONG IDC. at 18, dude I was dating kidnapped me by tricking me w a different number , pretending to be a friend of mine, opened the door for that “ friend “ and it was him. got picked up, thrown over his shoulders while I was screaming for help, got beat for 12 hours non stop. he did the same, apologized while beating me. I kept trying to run away while he was sleep that same night. and failed each time. next day, finally found my phone bc he hid it from me, and told my friends then they got help, cops showed up finally. They said I shouldn’t have even made it alive after the first 24 hours of that beating. Ribs fractured two of my lungs. IM SO GLAD UR OUT OF THAT. you are too damn beautiful. and you are too strong for all this! I’ll be praying for you.

She spoke on her having a conversation with Flo about letting her go. You had the ball in his court and that’s where some of us mess up at instead of taking the initiative to leave the situation. A man can tell you this and that to get you to stay. The changes may be temporary but if it keeps being repetitive then you know he wasn’t genuinely trying to change.

Treating me less than but not letting me go, it fcks with your mental and your self esteem. Everyone has given advice about the assault but this needed to be said too. Never allow another person have control of your body. If you don’t want to be pregnant….You take the necessary precautions whether it’s birth control, the morning after pill or demanding they wear a condom. Ultimately you have to handle the repercussions of what happen to your body and sometimes the man is going to step up to the plate and sometimes not . Whether you decided to have a baby or decided to have an abortion ultimately should have been up to you and don’t wait for a man to step up to the plate….handle it yourself as an adult.

Idk either partners, but I seen this story go viral and heard both parts. I can relate to her so much with being a lot more tougher than other girls and not reallly sitting with my emotions and lashing out. We have to work on ourselves and choose more patient partners. A man is stronger than a woman physically regardless and they know that. We need keep our hands to ourself , but they know they can restrain us versus beating the living crap out of us. That’s a person who doesn’t care and wants to teach somebody a lesson or simply want to beat on at somebody that’s weaker. You got this girl keep going.

the sad part about this whole situation is there is no real men out here when a man puts his hands on a female in front of another man it should be handled period its sick that so many men that day that was around them when he put his hands on that girl just stood there but soon as a man , boy put there hands on somebody mama or sister its up but don't have the respect for no other women
