TLDR: I haven't been enjoying FGO and content creation as much as I used to. On my month long hiatus I've been putting time into hobbies that I pushed back due to making videos and rediscovered things I'm super passionate about. I won't be uploading as often as I used to in an effort to pursue other creative endeavors that truly make me happy. But... I won't be quitting. Instead I'll be breaking the video formula and make FGO videos that I REALLY want to make. As long as you guys are here to watch, I'll always be making videos.
We've been there. Quitted a year for me and happen to be back naturally again. But the spark that we once played for the first time is nothing to be compared of.
@@kimosabi58 Same. For me, I don't see this as a gacha game but a visual novel that keeps updating itself and every time a new story comes, my excitement would come back.
Hey Angiie, just wanted to thank you for your content overall. You inspired me to return to FGO after ragequitting and inhaling copium about rate up always being a lie has given me a healthier perspective about the game. (Finished Lostbelt 1 a few days ago, from like USA when I quit a long time ago, so that's progress I guess) Wanted to post this because I similarly got burnt out of Arknights after playing that game for almost four years, and leaving that game helped me a lot. If you really feel burnt out, quitting might not be the worst idea for you. But if you don't want to quit that's great too. Honestly your stories/vlogs/anecdotes about life were the most unique thing about your channel, there are other FGO youtubers but they lack your honest and friendly vibes. Hopefully you have a blast no matter what you do!

Glad you figured out what was bothering you so much. Gacha games (and any game tbh) requiring you to play every single game eventually wear on you. It's why I've quit so many gachas over the years, and FGO is the last one I still play because it's so casual and easy to take breaks from. Friends have been on me for months to pick up Nikke or HSR and I keep refusing because I know the cycle too well. And since I went FGO only, I've discovered how much gachas were killing my love of other video games. Add in the same type of content creator burnout I hear so many people talk about when they feel trapped by the same game/style of video and it's no wonder you were burnt out. I hope this reset goes well for you! And remember as long as you enjoy the content you're making, don't worry about the viewcount as much.
Burnout is real, especially with a game like fgo. I mainly watched your gacha videos,just to hear you ramble, talk about your day to day and just get that cosy vibe. If you're gonna continue to make content, I hope it fulfills you as much as it does us.
I think everyone has been where you are now. I’m there with Genshin and Star Rail right now. A tiny (probably overdone) perspective on why gacha pull videos become so popular is viewers vicariously living through the person who is doing the pulls, for people saving months or even years, can only buy the smallest pack, (or is f2p only) to get that satisfaction in from doing pulls instead of using their own currency, they just watch a RU-vidr or Twitch stream where they casually swipe their card and pull a (to use a Star Rail equivalent here) E6 LC6 is enough for our tiny brains to be all “hmm satisfaction achieved” and that’s all it is really. But the providers of said videos, like yourself, do get burnt out and bored and the incredibly healthy thing to do would be to take some time off. People who enjoy listening to you and watching your content regardless of what you do will always be around and will return after hiatuses to hear all you’ve been up to whilst gone. 😊
I gotta admit, I’ve been feeling burnt out for a while. I still log in and do events but I’m only massively interested in the story these days. For like two weeks up until this event I was logging in, making apples then logging out. The issue with this game content wise is the gacha stuff is the main attraction so any none gacha stuff kinda doesn’t do well. If you’re not enjoying the game, take a break. Enjoy your school and other passions.
Dude! If this is a hobby, don’t make it stressful on yourself lol Especially since you are not making videos for a living! It’s like you said, you need to find a balance that makes this hobby enjoyable for YOU! People need to understand that might mean you will upload less but at least you will be uploading content you enjoy!
Always focus on what you want to make if you focus on viewership its always gonna feel like its not enough or your doing something wrong , imo just try to mix things up and try not to dwell on it just keep doing what makes you happy and dip your toes here and there and see what you and what your audience will enjoy while still having fun and not burning out :]
I'm on the verge of quitting myself, the game takes time that I'd love to spend somewhere else, and I'm pretty burnt of it. The only thing that keeps me is the story but having to wait so long feels so pointless. I also tried new gachas and since I can't find any fun in the game :/

I remember when I quit FGO. I was there when the NA server was released and was so happy. Then, I quit because I wasn't happy when playing it. Suddenly, I looked back at Fate again and just wanna feel like how much I like this series. It's one of those series that I myself found by myself without anyone introduce me to it and you know those magical feelings when you found something amazing yet you don't know because it was something new. Anyway, I came back to FGO around 2021 and I took a break again but I came back during like anniversary 2022 and I finally stay. I was so behind in the story and it was hella a journey because I'm F2P and there were tough battles. Until now, I took a few breaks here and there, yes, I do break the daily login and just don't think too much xD. Sometimes there are events I just skip because I want to play the game when I feel like it and don't feel so pressured by it.
Thank you for the update. I'd rather that the people I watch enjoy what they're doing and not feel like they're being hamstrung by the dumbf*ck algorithm/people who only consume 1 particular item of your content and literally ignore everything else. There was a point I also was thinking about quitting fgo. My current account, is actually the second account I made. I accidentally broke the smartphone my first account was on, never did the bind code or anything with it (not interested in getting it back, my current account is better) and it's just gone. What's more is that I started my account on new years, at midnight, turning to 2020. What I wouldn't find out until later that day is that my brother had succumbed to his depression just hours before the turn of the New Year. At that point, the game that I was just going to restart to have fun became the game I tried to distract myself with, which was really annoying. I was about to quit when I discovered that my coworker also played. At that point, I only pay of the game that I played was the gacha, so it was actually quite nice it wasn't just some cash hole. I mean, it still is, fundamentally speaking, but now, it's no longer something i do when I'm down.
Honestly, do videos about your passions I would love to hear you ramble about vinyl records and stuff you really care about, when there's genuine passion behind it anything can be interesting However if you want to draw a line between content creation and your true hobbies then that's understandable too, the least you want is for something you love to feel like a job
It's not your job to make the game enjoyable. That's Lasengle's job, and if they can't do that for you, then they don't deserve your time, energy, money, or attention.
Yeah, this channel is just another hobby for you. There's no need to be chained to what gets the most views if those views aren't putting bread on your table. I think exploring new creative avenues will be good for you.
