My turbo VGT actuator has the WRONG SOFTWARE in it?? 

Yes VGTs do have firmware/software in them. Who knew? We did and that is how we got this seemingly unsolvable problem solved. Take a look at what happened and what we did. It is a rare problem but it could happen to you and it makes you scratch your head-again.
