With the Euros just around the corner, I decided to sit down and go through my predictions for the UEFA European Championship in 2024. Will Gareth Southgate's England go all the way, or will France or Germany take another Euros home!

I think Croatia shouldn't even qualify for "the underdog". They've been too successful in the past last tournaments.

Honestly, since '98, Croatia has never been an underdog. Put 20 dollars on them in 2018 at 66/1 before qualification (1,320). So close.

Zac some notes on Courtois as a Belgian. Courtois and Tedesco had a fall out last year over the captaincy and to this day they have not fixed their relationship. However in my opinion Courtois was in the wrong in that situation, he should 've just played and should've not put himself above the team, the manager is the boss, no preferential behavior for bigger players. Courtois also said in december that he was not going to the Euros because of his acl, eventhough he just played the ucl final. So honestly I'm disappointed in Courtois

Austria will be the underdogs. They are playing amazing under Rangnick. Rest of predictions seem bang on, but I see Austria finishing above Netherlands.

agree, i did a predictor myself and Austria somehow made it to the semis but i wouldn't be too surprised if it actually happened. i mean wales made the semis not too long ago

@@watari6346 not underestimating at all, they lost to Italy, France, Germany and Croatia all in the last year. They have a lot of weaknesses and Koeman is not a great manager imo. I reckon they should qualify from the group but I predict Austria second and NL third. Austria is right now playing really well, because they have an incredible manager. Maybe I will be very wrong, who knows, but just analyzing on recent form.

One thing I've noticed from these Euro previews is that people have become more cautious when talking about Croatia. Realistically, this prediction is very fair to this team, but I can tell you for sure, it would be a failure in their eyes. Nothing short of winning the whole thing cuts it anymore. Two silver medals and a bronze in the last 6 years. Time for that gold medal to crown Modric's career. I've also seen reports that around 100 thousand Croatian fans are expexted to come to Berlin for the first game. Pay attention during the national anthem in that game against Spain, I can guarantee you the atmosphere will be scary for one side.

I'm Belgian and Thibaut Courtois wasn't left out of the Belgium national team; he refuses to play due to a disagreement with the coach over the captaincy. After Kevin De Bruyne got injured, Tedesco handed the captain's armband to Romelu Lukaku. This led to a falling out, and now Courtois is not part of the team. It's a shame for Thibaut to miss out on an international tournament because of his ego. You can only play a handful in a lifetime and there's no greater legacy than major success at the Euro's or World Cup. You can become a national hero.

I've got the Netherlands to win it, yeah their attack isn't really the best, but they've got world class players in every other position and I think Jeremie Frimpong will be the standout player of the tournament

If they want to win it they will need to compete with England France, even Spain are stronger. Nowhere near that level, they have daly blind starting ffs

I really hope this match between England and Croatia happens again. Most of you are writing us off too early (not you) as per usual, however youre one of the few English people I saw do predictions who at least got us to quartert finals, most are R16 exists and some even group stage flop lmfao. Either way I do agree I feel like this England squad has a little bit too much quality for us to beat this time around especially with Mandzukic missing this time around, however if the match happens, keep your cool and dont jump to conclusions too quickly weve all seen what we are capable of by now, and pray to god we dont go to penalties 🤣🤣🤣

There's not much of a point to just picking the big teams to win every duel. There will be about 2 major disappointing teams and 2 revelations. It's hard to predict those, I know, but it happens every tournament. Who would have thought Japan would knock out Germany? Who would have thought Morrocco would make the semi-finals?

I did the prediction and have England beating Germany, France and then Portugal in the final in order to serve my bias. Really need Southgate to remove his mask to reveal Don Carlo underneath for this.

I have Ukraine or Switzerland as overachievers- Switzerland reminds me of the way Denmark was going into last euros, and Ukraine has a lot of talent, maybe not the same all around quality but they will surprise in a couple of games. Underachievers will be Portugal, Germany, and Italy- I could see none of them making the semis

If you look at the youtubers doing these prediction videos, nearly all European ones have Scotland getting out the group, whereas nearly every English youtuber has us going out. His rational is laughable here. 'Not enough star power' - aye right, one of the best left backs in Europe, Villa's best player, A Man Utd player who has scored 7 in his last 8, one of the best midfielders at Brighton if not the EPL, but aye, not enough star power. Meanwhile Hungary have that boy from Liverpool who's been honking for the last couple of months.

Bruh England just lost to Iceland lmao I think their gonna have a hard time getting out of their group now if they can’t even beat a team like Iceland. Surly teams like Denmark, Slovenia, Serbia are better then a team that didn’t even qualify for the euros so England will now be lucky if they somehow get past the round of 16 Them making it far or to the last 4 is just unrealistic and bias opinions now
