My current UK self defence loadout/EDC is I was going somewhere that may be risky, all of the items shown in the video except for the larger Opinel are legal for EDC, every day carry.
A kevlar vest with a anti-stab layer will protect against knife stabs and slashes as well as pistols and shotguns.
A tactical pen can be used as a pen, emergency glass breaker and a self defence item if needed, a flashlight can be used to see in the dark and to temporarily blind and disorientate an attacker allowing you to escape.
Remember the UK has rules against items being used for self defence unless reasonable force was justified.
It is better to carry items with practical uses rather than saying you are carrying them only for self defence.
