You explain things in a pleasant and non condescending way. 55 years old here, 30 years in the healthcare industry, and my dream is to GTFO of the 9-5 grind and own a box truck and be my own boss. AND pass it on to my son, so he doesn’t have to carve the hard path like I did. Thanks bro. Number one keeping your truck maintained is preventative maintenance a lot of times guys don't do a simple thing as change the oil like you supposed to and you got two more boxes you have to service the transmission and the rears

@@PermanentHigh I did things a little differently. I drove OTR for an upstart company for 3 months to get a feel for it. Didn’t love it or hate it but another opportunity came along. I now drive locally. Home every evening, off on weekends, full benefits all while driving a 2022 Mack trucks.

Hello greeting Chris hopefully you doing well this Abner from Brunswick Georgia I’m fan Diesel engine I’m fan box truck and semi and power stroke turbo diesel And all pickup trucks too including turbo diesel. Guess what you said right thing non Cdl your box truck is because the weight it has be only 26000 pound and under. If is 26001 over pound and thru 33000 is CDL does require my friend he has Cdl class B since last year he is driving f750 dump truck the GVWR is 33000 pound. You know how the weight is. Drive safely..👍

No. It has air brake... Period. Yes there are other circumstances that can be wastefully discussed but I'm a trucker and my wife is an instructor. It has air brakes. (CDL req.) Gvwr gets trumped just because

@@davidricketts9165 thats not true it all depends on the state you are in. IL doesn't require you to have a cdl if the vehicle is under 26000 with or without airbrakes.
