Nice one mate it's looking simple and clean wish mine was looking liket that... Happy new year by the way mate, best wishes for 2024. I'm now catching up on all I missed.
Not to be nit-picky about YOUR setup, but at the start of your video, your work-horse-that-gets-everything-done was sitting precariously close to the edge of your beautiful reclaimed wood desk top. While the natural finish of the desk top was relaxing, the fact that the edge of the MacBook's holder was hanging over the edge really stressed me out. Nice video none-the-less.
Now I just need to do this but two PC setup for personal PC and work laptop. Unfortunately I do not have any space to separate machines to different desks
How did you mount the corsair dock? I have a similar dock (elgato) and not sure how to mount it? Also any tips/mounting options for other stuff? I'm very curious how you mounted everything!
Love everything besides the desk mat. I don’t get why people like the thin leather mats. I have a felt one which is great for both looks and comfort. The main complaints people give for felt is “your mouse will get clipped on the felt” which I’ve been using it for two years now and had no issues. I know that doesn’t change it but just for the comfort of your arms and the non cheap looking leather it looks so much nicer.
That was one of the most clear cut well articulate enjoyable RU-vid videos I have ever seen. Editing and delivery should win an award. Not sure why but it was perfect
Hi Alex, my advice, keep backup allyour data from that mac, if the ssd fails, there is no chance to recover anything, make a backup periodicaly on cloud
Surprise: While audio stream over USB might be digital, it's worse than analog, because it has no clock (timing) or error correction. It's fine for general and herp-derp use, but don't use cheap cables, slow devices, or at all for critical listening.
