I'm so excited to finally be showing you this year's updated makeup collection inventory!! My goal of a minimalist, curated collection continues, and this time, I'm a little closer. As I explain in the video, this is part 1 of two videos - it was way too long to all fit into one. So this week I'm talking about my foundations, concealers, blushes, bronzers, highlights and mascaras. If you're new to my channel I'm curating my collection and I'm talking all things minimalism & decluttering, makeup no-buy and low-buy, and project pan. Stay tuned for the second part next week!

What a minimalist makeup collection looks like is so subjective. Sounds like you're at a good place with your collection and enjoying your items, which is the most important part. I only own one mascara at a time. Maybe two for a short amount of time, when I notice that the first one is drying up. I would be overwhelmed by your mascara stash 😂

Thank you!! I have some categories that I would like to see some changes in, but on the whole, it's SO MUCH BETTER than it used to be. Hahaha it's funny because I'm overwhelmed by my lip stash and eyeliner stash but not my mascara stash 😂 I simply can't imagine having fewer than 8 options MINIMUM

Thank you, Lara! I, too, was looking forward to this video. It must be nice to see a positive reduction in your overall collection size, but still have some great products you are enjoying so much. I did lol at your mascara collection :) That would be me with blush. Your makeup today is beautiful!

For some reason, the size of your mascara collection always makes me chuckle😊. It’s nice that you know what you like and are unabashed about how many you own! Can you recommend a waterproof mascara that isn’t difficult to remove?

Honestly I don't have a good answer for that because I don't really take note of which ones are easy to remove 😅 I'm sorry! I think it's because I don't really care if there still some mascara on my lashes when I go to bed. As long as my face makeup is all gone, I'm happy

I do work in restaurants/bars, and all of my immediate friends do. I’ve never worked at a more affordable chain restaurant, only mid-high end. The amount of shenanigans we get into on a daily basis… I can go on forever. I’ve developed and recovered from drinking and illicit drug abuse while working in restaurants, and I’m still in the industry. I’ve seen things that I don’t think most people should…

Ive worked in restaurants for 4 years. I think most people would freak out if they knew how much goes on at any given place. I can understand how so many people turn to addictive behaviours while working at one. I turned to drinking for quite a while. Would go to work tipsy, I would say, pretty much every day. Most of my colleagues where actual drunks and some of them did drugs. I don't think the book even though its situated in the 80s is too far off of today's reality. Im happy you found your way back from those addictions and command you for still working in the restaurant industry. I decided to quit my last restaurant job in september of last year. Have been sober since july and Im now much happier!

@@another.panner so so so happy to hear that you’ve also sobered up after the industry! It’s so fun but at the party lifestyle is physically unsustainable. I’ve been sober from alcohol, my biggest vice, since January of 2022. Since I’ve stopped drinking, I’ve had even more opportunities come my way in the industry! I’ve made more friends, been more involved with local businesses, and moved up in my jobs 😍

I was waiting for this video !!! :) I think you could try and pan that blush that has pan on the elf palette and post the rest of the palette on bunz if you don't love it ! I feel like that bronzer that you never touch would be easy to use up because it's just a sample and it seems to have very little product ! :) btw the "better than sex mascara" is from too faced ;)

yay!! It's a palette from Collection but you're right, that's the only one I have pan in so that's the next logical choice. I don't think the bronzer is a sample I think it's just a small one - but ya I'll have to add it to a project pan! and WHOOPS that's strange that I got those two brands mixed up lol

Powder things can be used for eyeshadow base . Like before you put on color , as a base . So does brown . And eyebrow’s! 😊
