It's a comment not about minimalism specifically, but I'm from Ukraine and I can tell you that it appeared to be very important to live as a minimalist, it's good to have all your essential/key things literally in a backpack (not only docs/money/devices but also some minimum clothes and even food/snacks). I know people who lost everything and they run out of a flat/building without anything (even without shoes) after an air attack. I started thinking what is the point to collect things that you won't take with you in case of an emergency. But if you're a minimalist, then it's easier to get used to a simple lifestyle, if you need tons of things to feel comfortable, then you're at high risk. So the conclusion is evident - live simple. You are an inspiration. I've had the same phone for three years. That's one of my proudest frugal accomplishments. I'm watching this on it right now. I have gotten my worth and more out of it. And when the time comes to let it go I'll know I'm just fine.
Fellow sunglass-junkie here and also a new subscriber! I'm quite certain that the only time I don't have my sunglasses with me is if I've gone out somewhere when it was already dark. My eyes are extremely sensitive to even the faintest bit of light and even on a grey and overcast day, I'm squinting and my eyes are watering without them. I truly don't know how anyone can be outside on a day that's the least bit sunny and not have sunglasses. I generally wear a pair to death and then try to replace them with another pair as close to them as I can get.
I recently got a Thread Wallet since I always kept downsizing my card wallet and I absolutely love it. My cards are snug as a bug and I can clip it on my keys
I just upgraded to the 13 mini from an iPhone 11 which was hurting my wrists. It fits in my women’s pants pockets. I cannot recommend it enough for physical downsizing. Its the size the 5s was and now my wrists don’t hurt. I hope to keep it for many years! I also got a basic leather case with magsafe so I can still charge it. Should age nicely. Worth it haha
If you ever buy another water bottle, I've had the Thermos 24 ounce for years and I love it. It's got a lock feature and a carry loop. My husband always has a carabiner too and he will keep the bottle on his belt loop when he's working or on his backpack when we're hiking. It doesn't smell either. (:

Did you ever change wallets? I got a ridge recently & it's pretty decent. Love the quality & finish. I might switch to Aviator wallets around black friday. They're pretty much the ridge wallet, but the cards go in vertically & has a pull tab. There's also an opening on one side to slide a card out with your thumb.
I used to carry my AirPods inside my bag or purse until recently when I purchased a case with a keychain attached. Then I clipped it to the outside of my work bag for quick access. Unfortunately, the case wasn’t very secure and I ended up losing the left airpod, so just be careful.
I had a wallet like that one years ago. I ended up putting the cash inside the wallet. I ended up replacing it later that year due to the strap snapping off from the seams.

You should try to care your stuffs. And I don't think minialism is simply small or less things to carry. I think pick up the best tool if you need it and cut all other things that you don't need in daily drive. And I think a purse is important for guys need it, don't trust the rubber band on that purse otherwise you will lose the money one day. But except guy are real minimalism most people still need a watch while they already got the phone to check time. So why don't you try to take care your watch and other EDC stuffs and just shopping some your favors to please youself in daily life while show other people your personality.😊
