im a 50 yr old man with oily skin. ive tried several moisturisers and observed 1 thing - no matter what i use, i have to wash my face every 2,3 hrs coz it somehow gets oily and i feel the need to give it a wash. so my only solution is to carry a facewash to office. i use the ones from nat habit very nice. anyway i now want to try this serum thing to use at night before bed or when im home only. what do u suggest ?

The only Vit C that I used which made me flabbergasted was Khiels Corrective Dark Spot Serum (Aka Vit C Serum). I know it's expensive but probably the bestest purchase of my life. It truly turned my skin 180°. I am currently using Minimalist one, and have tried many previously from this list but nothing tops the Khiels Vit C serum. People are really sleeping on that one for sure.

It’s worked amazingly for me tooo! It’s really clears out all the acne spots. But recently discovered ordinary’s recent launch of aloe + NAG which works just as effectively and is kinder on the wallet!

Hlo di after applying serum like salicylic acid or vitamin c we can apply mist after that so that our moisturiser moisturise skin As it doesn’t disolve my serum, Becose salicylic acid apply on dry face after that i apply moisturiser but it didn’t work feel dry Pls resolve this confusion

Hii Jovi, i would recommend one more Vit C from Foxtale. Please try that, it brightens and gives glassy finish to skin. I think it is underrated and very few have given review about it.

I personally prefer vitamin c or retinol or any other anti oxidant serum in an airless pump to avoid oxidation 😅 Conscious chemist have a good vitamin c ofcourse u did a great job recommend some of the best my lovely sis Jovita ne san much love from Andhra 😮

Try using 5% Vit C serum and if that's also irritating your skin then avoid using Vitamin C

Dot and key didn’t cause any irritation or any sort of itching or redness but I did get a few pimples. Other than that, I did not enjoy the texture, it’s too thick though I’m a dry skin type. I also noticed that my face looked oily and a little dull after using it even though I used my moisturiser and sunscreen on top!!!!

The market does have ones with airless pump. Murad is one, Foxtale is another one. I am not a fan of the Foxtale one though.

Can someone pleeeeezzz tell me if it's ok to use vitamin c serum at night rather than morning? Because night time is when i actually have some kinda routine with a couple of products, morning all i do is use a face wash and sunscreen...i don't really have the time or the patience to be using various serums, moisturizers, exfoliants etc in the morning at all 😬

@@monasingh7807I think you can - just avoid under eye ans eyelid area for any vitamin C serum. Since the plum one is 15% you can go for the minimalist one 10% in its place and see if that helps

Avoid applying Vit C on your under eyes if its irritating you. You can apply a regular moisturizer on your whole face including under eyes.
