Very cool! I can't believe you just found this stuff in the wild, but I also never thought to look so could have easily walked right by a piece and not realized it. Do the places selling them know what they have? I can't imagine they would!

The antique shop knew what they had for sure which is why I paid $30 for the pickle plate. The pie plate however and the four set of dishes were at the value village thrift store and they definitely didn't know what they had.

is it ok if radioatctive glass is stored like that? I mean are you going to die faster because of that collection?

It's basically harmless. The gamma rays are blocked by 10-15 cm of air and the alpha/beta particles don't get much farther. Some glass is a fair bit more radioactive than my collection, That's why it's nice to have the spectrometer to get an idea of the radioactivity.
