Today, I did my very 1st order on Airspace. What do you think about the pay. This week is continuing to be slow on all the gig app. I have to keep moving forward, 2024 is my time to grow my clients for my own business. Always motivated.
Airspace definitely pays. I did a 248-mile run from the airport and they paid $442.29. To offset the fuel cost I use Roadie to guide me back. I also did a quick Redcross to a hospital run and got $40 for 12 miles
@qdontae6 I'm not sure, but the majority of these app jobs generally do not want you to use a rental van. All the jobs I have received so far fit into a car
@tshanks022 All of my runs come in through text messages. It shows you the pick-up and delivery zip codes, and it shows the mileage. It just so happened that a location was a Red Cross, and I picked up blood to take to a hospital
@@BigCJCargoVan LA to San Fransisco like 395 miles at $1.75 a mile. Cargo van rate but half the time the stuff will fit in my Tesla. Yesterday I had one LA to Seattle for like $2000 but they changed the flight before my pickup and cancelled it hours before I was supposed to go :/
I just accepted my first pickup today. No price in app. But I’ll update afterwards! **Update** The pay was $96 for around a 15 mile trip, the item was 70 pounds. So far, so good! Can’t wait to do another!
Been interested in the cargo gang going on for 2 months now. Ready for some action but still doing some HW on how to get started. I’m finding good info and with you being new in the gang I’m definitely staying tuned in. Keeping dishing out the smoke and tires turning. I want the cargo van gang brand!!💯🚀🖤🙏🏽
I’m in San Antonio too, I actually live in medical center. My wife is in the medical field and she tells me that people come from all over the state to have procedures done here in San Antonio. She said some patients come from different states. I would assume that airspace would be busy in the San Antonio market. I’m going to look into it. And I’m going to subscribe to your channel. Thank you for making this video!
Yo that airspace looks like a good gig. Imma def check it out and see if they are here in NYC. Thanks for the info. Keep running it up my guy! #RunItUp 💰🏃🏽♂️💨 #OnTheRoadWithRamrican 👷🏽♂️🚐
Airspace in San Antonio can be a bit slow and you may go for days without a load. I did one similar to this one airport pickup then drop- off at a hospital. I have even seen a few OTR loads last year, also saw a lot of Austin loads as well. Keep it up!
One of my go to apps here in the Columbus, Ohio area, great payouts. (SUV Driver) Depending on area they will stack a bonus on top for incentive. And if you get TSA verified to do airport drop off for going on the plane you get paid a bonus as well. Most are medical like CJ picked up, but I have picked up aircraft parts as well.
I just filled out the info today for them. And if you read the information it had a whole page on the pay. It's $1.50 for vans and .80 for cars. Do you need paperwork for pickup at airport? Most airports you have to have paperwork in hand? I've been working with FedEx custom critical for 7 years in my van. But looking to work with Airspace also
Hey CJ I had the same question on pay, so I emailed support they referred me to the document that we sign it shows the pay per mile info. $1.00 per mile for car/suv and cargo van is 1.65 per mile. If you took a car order but drove your cargo van u get paid the car rate. Check out the driver payment document
That's a great question, to be honest I have no idea. I'm still learning the company, but they have my vehicle listed as a van, I would think I should only get van rates.
How far was the drive to the airport? That would let me know if it’s worth it or not for $30. Also, great great advice about having your own contract. Cut the middleman out when possible.
CB driver and Indeed are the top sites to look at for contracts in my opinion. I signed up with CB driver to get alerts every time a new contract opportunity comes out.
Another thing that I don't like about Airspace is, for example, if you accept an offer in the app picking up at the cargo airline and delivering it to the hospital and 15-20 mins later you accept another offer picking up at the same location and delivering to the same location, they only pay you once for it because you're delivering to the same location! 😒
What's gd big CJ i just bought the same van as yours i just want your opinion on the set up on the accessories dolly, straps, bungi cords, cart, blankets, delivery bags etc having properly organized in the cargo.
I actually have a video on all my equipment, but I'd get some ply wood to slide those pallets, 4 straps, some Bungii cords, handcart and furniture Dolly. Maybe a few blankets, and you should be good to go. You can always add more stuff later
Be mindful most these gig apps try to keep u at an hourly wage let’s not forget drivers are making more money than the agents jealousy jealousy I know so many drivers falsely deactivated on gig apps behind agents pocket watching even to the extent to where agents removing orders from drivers because they was making so much money 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️keep telling y’all no so such thing as a slow day it’s all controlled and just to let u know if u don’t know bro the gig apps allows u travel and make money u and your old lady should come out to Cali and work one weekend u would make more money and California is the only state that pays drivers prop 22 look it up so and do your research they pay u engage time from start to finish and gas reimbursement
@@extremesports9201 and when that started bro literally left New York 3 months ago 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️and it’s not coming up on Google at all I definitely doubt it California is the only state currently with prop 22 I got family in New York and go all the time and work my apps no prop 22 at all and family who works for the state here I call cap that’s only a California law anybody reading these comments google it this dude cap
@@BigCJCargoVan en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_California_Proposition_22#:~:text=Proposition%2022%20was%20a%20ballot,%2C%20rather%20than%20%22employees%22. Here u go bro why would I lie I go to New York every other month and use my apps still because the apps allow u to work in other states and California is the only state with prop 22 they made up the law it’s not in New York at all
Tough question. A lot of contractors use stride. Most of the gig apps offer that for medical. I personally get free medial through the military. I have my family on a government assisted program, so I pay zero dollars out of pocket. Texas has great med programs, can't speak for other states.
How did you get started with Airspace. I have a 2017 ram promaster 1500 that i use for mobile detailing but it seems that business is extremely slow and at any time i can convert my van back to being a transport for cargo. I saw that the site ask if i am tsa certified which i am not but really would like your advice as i am in the midst of losing everything due to the slow down.
Make sure you make yourself available and they will send you offers exclusively for you to accept or decline. You have a minute kind of like how Dispatch does it. Then they send out text blasts with job offers also. Those you have to be quick!!
TSA.GOV, I filled my application out through Jumpp Logistics, and they filed the paperwork for me. I think the form is called 419f or something like that. Just Google STA certification. You need an STA number, that's what your applying for.
Well, Airspace didn't hire me. No reason given. I'm guessing they have enough people now? What other logistic companies do you work with?@@BigCJCargoVan
Online search for cargo van contracts. Indeed or CB Driver are the most popular search sites. Sign up to be alerted when new contracts are in your area. You can also search local courier companies in your area for available contracts. I have a contract route through Jumpp Logistics.
Airspace uses Bill AP & AR app to pay you. Similar to Frayt, they use Branch. Dlivrd uses Everee. Once you complete the load, they review it and add any adjustments. Pay should arrive within 7-10 days direct deposit.
Sorry, I don't understand your question. I have a cargo van. When you pay per airspace mile, not sure what that means. Are you asking my cost per mile or something?
@BigCJCargoVan yes me to I had to email them to see the pay but I think for cars and suvs it's $1 mile and vans $1.65 and the minimum is like $20 for car and $37.50 for vans
No, Airspace does not offer contracts, only on demand work. That contract was from a company on CB Driver. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the company.
@@BigCJCargoVan bro all u have to do is a pay u remember u did a prefer the other day I seen to where they tried to make u wait for 2 hrs that’s them busting down the $30 30 dived by 2 is 15 if u would have waited those 2 hrs u would have ben making $15 hr the catering apps does the same thing I’ve had multiple customers said delivering orders hey I see u hear why aren’t u coming in and I’ll send a screenshot that the app says don’t deliver until this time etc and 95% percent of those people did not put that in the app at all they like I’m here if u here u can definitely make the delivery see I don’t know if u know but this all comes from agents complaining about drivers making alll this money and then u got the drivers on RU-vid bragging how much money they making and posting recipes etc bro u know how many drivers where on blogs etc bragging that they we’re making 5k a week doing gig work at that point u are making more money than doctors lawyers etc do your research it just doesn’t look good these people spent all that money and all those years going to school and we riding around picking up and dropping off stuff making more money but it’s definitely ben many times agents have removed jobs from drivers for those reasons and lie and and say the customer has canceled I’ve literally called customers before and asked hey did u cancel the order etc and they did not at all that’s them trying to govern drivers earnings alll the way around the board see half the apps they have out now like I was hustling trash jobs etc beofre gig apps even came out and stayed busy on my own so when I got into gig work in my head I’m bout to make 3k a day easily because I was literally doing 8-900 a day without apps it’s never a slow day fam at all drivers should easily be clearing 2k a day with these apps but they govern us by trying to lock u in on a time example 30 bucks and try to make u wait for 2 hrs before making the delivery which literally makes no sense at all they are forcing drivers into an hourly wage
Look at the rate sheet they sent in the onboarding package to estimate before the trip and once you end it shows you the rate before any modifiers like incentives. It will show you the actual total for the trip under "order history" when you are done. In LA it's $1/mile for cars and SUVs and $1.75/mile for vans. Many times they will have cargo van orders that easily fit in my Tesla. I like to do long runs in the Tesla since it's so cheap to run. Orders started or ended between 8pm-8am they add $10 a trip. If you have to hold a package overnight (I did last night) it's called "pick and hold" and it's another $30. If you have to tender at an airport it's another $30. They also add incentives to some orders that people pass on. I saw one last week with a $220 incentive! Airspace is easily my favorite app. It usually pops off at night when everything else is dead.@@BigCJCargoVan
Get a TWIC card. Transportation workers identification card. Google it in your area. I got mine at a Staples actually. They fingerprint you and run all types of background checks. Once you have TWIC apply with Airspace. They’re awesome. Run a lot of medical implants and tissue samples. Mainly late at night and far distances at least in LA.
I'd have to did through my emails. I know Pinnacle is hiring, but they don't pay $350 per day. The company I found was on Indeed. You have to continually check Indeed and CB Driver. I think the contract I was offered was on CB Driver. If I find the email, I will update this response
My guy. You can not put they information on your videos sorry. You are going to break every hippy rules. Please my guy. I have been on airspace before you. No disrespect but no more information on that .
Appreciate the concern, I don't show the customers info, and I absolutely can show my pickup and dropoff. Nothing in their terms and conditions says I can't nor am I violating any of HIPAA 3 rules of confidentiality.
